So grateful for i believe his name was Alan's help today. On the way to a procedure my friends car broke down he was there in 6 minutes got us hooked up and took me to my appointment before taking her and her car to the mechanic I am so grateful and he was super friendly and kind as well. I was driving on I-205 near Sandy Blvd when my car suddenly started shaking. A second later, the engine died completely. My heart dropped — I was stuck in the middle of the highway with no idea what went wrong.
I pulled over to the shoulder, stepped out, and the cold wind hit me. Cars were flying past, and for a moment, it felt like I was completely alone.

My motorhome broke down, and I had about 30 minutes to get it to the shop down the street before they closed on a Saturday. These guys were hooking me up to the truck literally 7 minutes after I called and got it to the shop - backed into a difficult spot, with time to spare. Was also super affordable. I can not speak more highly about the service and care I received from Portland City Towing. I had an issue that happened twice, both times my wait was less than 30 min and once they got there Joe was amazing. He even helped me push my car out of the road. And then when my car broke down again, they were the first place I called! The only place I would call! There is nothing worse than feeling vulnerable as a woman when your car breaks down. I felt safe, the wait was short and the service was professional and best of all the prices are reasonable! I would recommend Portland City Towing to anyone needing a tow.

The service was super quick, and both crew members were delightful. They charged me about 2/3rds the price of every other quote from other companies, and left me with a smile. Would absolutely recommend.
The linkage on my steering column broke while I was parking in a 15 minute zone in front of a hotel so I was half in the road, half in the spot. That's not a good spot to be in. I called Portland City Towing and they showed up faster than any towing company I've used before and were very nice and obviously greatly helpful. Since it's Sunday I couldn't take my car to a shop, so he offered to take it in when I found a shop. Great response time, great price, and great service! 10/10 would recommend!
We were stranded with a child and a little dog after the car wouldn't start and he was there in 20 minutes vs. an hour which is the arrival time the other company gave me. Unprofessional and rude to my partner. Over priced and under serviced. I understand small businesses have to charge a bit more maybe but there should be better service with that. When the driver is repeatedly told you'd need a ride back home (busted car, duh) and says nothing about not being able to do so until getting to the destination then leaving without a word except a remark to the attendant at the mechanic that is just messed up. And all of this at a premium price to boot. If they can't give a ride back why not just say so up front? Instead, they left her stuck there without a word to her. Professional.
Would not ever, ever recommend. Even the clerk at the garage the car was dropped off remarked that the guy was a not pleasant at all, in so many words..
On June 21st I had a sudden issue when my mercedes stalled & wouldn't start. Called portland towing and he showed up in 15 minutes!!! that was amazing as I was stuck in the middle of a lane! It was a Friday and 10 minutes to their closing. Talk about customer service! I am thrilled with the VIP service I received I definitely will use them when an issue arises!

Excellent communication, customer service, price and overall experience. I was given multiple options for when the driver would head to my location, and he was here right on time. Hook up and drop off was very fast and I was notified with photos once my pickup was delivered. Definitely going to be my new go-to tow company after today.
The service was excellent. My tire exploded on I-84 and the tow-driver came very quickly and got me and my car off the side of the freeway fast. When we got to a tire shop, he waited for me to verify if the shop had space to take me or not. Ideally I won't need this service again, but if I ever need a tow again, I would hit this company up first.
Very happy with this company! They were able to make it to my location within half an hour of calling them and the tow service was very reasonably priced. Overall it was easy since my car didn’t have to be towed that far to the mechanic’s, but he was very nice and even called to let me know when he had dropped off the car. If I need my car towed again in the portland area, I would definitely call them first.
We got stuck in Troutdale with our 36’ fleet wood motorhome and out of the 17 businesses we called, Portland City Towing were the only ones willing to help and they didn’t charge a ridiculous price, even on a Sunday. They were extremely fast, efficient, professional and affordable. I would 100% recommend them without hesitation. They made a 3 day nightmare come to an end and I will always be grateful to them for their help and professionalism.
So, long story short, someone, slashed my tires on my BMW I8. I needed my car towed, I called around to several towing companies and either no one would touch my car or they were an arm and a leg to tow it. I then spoke with portland city towing and told them what I had going on, and under one hour later, they were there, looked at my car, within 5 min he had it up in his tow truck with no damage to my car. They had all the tools necessary to ensure nothing happened to my car. My car sits low on the ground and nothing happened to my bumpers! And better yet, his price was amazing! Great price! Great service from this towing company. I was able to make an appointment for the time I wanted and the driver who came out was prompt and professional. Price was pretty decent as well. If i ever need a car towed again I’ll call these guys first.

The short version; this company is amazing, easily one of the best experiences in a very stressful situation. In a league of their own.
When I contected roadside, I was actually connected with another company first before Louma. These other guys said my vehicle was huge and required special equipment. They also said I'll have to wait 3 hours. Like a dope I belived them and waited. 4 hours later I call them back and they said "Oh yeah we're not coming out tonight". Furious as I was, I requested for a new company which ended up being Louma. 45 minutes after the call was placed the tow truck arrived EXACTLY at time I was quoted.
The operator was very professional and took great care in loading up my van, as if it was a family members vehicle (depending on close you are with your family, this is a very good thing lol). He used specialized tools to make sure absolutely no damage came to my van (it's very tough to load up a 22 ft van!). He delivered my van to the dealership for repairs without me having to leave work and tag along to make sure it's done properly, he took care of the whole thing from start to finish. Just outstanding service all around. If I ever need a tow (hopefully no time soon!), I will most definitely be contacting these guys directly.
