Owners are amazing and very friendly! I go there for there huge collection of VHS tapes. They have a room full of them!!! I always end up finding a lot of other treasures while I am there as well. We drive over an hour just to go in and look around.
I didn't have enough time. A lot to see and go through. I need to go back when I have time to spend. Its a lot bigger store than it appears from out side. Very cool place!
This is not your typical thrift shop. Very disappointed in the pricing and selection. Overpriced junk. They did have antique items but a lot of them are in poor condition and again, way overpriced. I wouldn't recommend shopping here if you're looking for fun finds and good pricing.
The young man & young lady that manage the store are very helpful in finding what you are looking for---they will stop what they are doing, and look for your needs. They are very courteous and joyful.
The pricing on their very versatile---pre-owned--- inventory---is reasonable.
They recently did a fantastic rearranging of the inventory.

Love this place. You can ALWAYS find something there it awesome best thrifty type store in Stayton. & there is 3 or 4 stores like this un the small town of Stayton

It might look small on the outside, but Trask Mercantile has multiple rooms to browse on the inside. This thrift store has an extensive inventory of used goods. They offer furniture, jewelry, books, DVDs, household goods, clothing, and much more. Some of the prices are a bit too high, but they do have several items at a fair price. You never know what you'll find when browsing Trask Mercantile!
Dale and brandy (owners)are such awesome ppl. Always nice to talk to and ready to help. Trask is the bestest store in town.

Trask is a small family owned business that is like a thrift department store as they carry everything you could need for household and tools. When we moved here from out of state I quickly realized there were lots of little things I didn’t have and the staff here are super helpful and knowledgeable about what they have in stock. We have found many cool one of a kind treasures here as well. The best thing about Trask is they keep there prices low which is actually super fair and encourages customers to keep coming back.
The employees are super awesome always friendly and helpful. I always leave there with some cool treasure. With so many things to look at and very low prices I love going to Trask.
Went above and beyond, my new favorite shopping place! I'm a disabled veteran, and they delivered, and set up my 2 new HEAVY electric recliners, one is 96" long and 300 pounds! Awesome people! Thank you!
First time in here and the prices are so low I couldn't help but want to buy everything . the employees/staff were so welcoming and kind. I felt comfy there. Definitely will come back I think I found my new favorite thrift shop. Thank you for the wonderful experience

Often you can find a good bargain, but the prices are all over the place. If the floor has no other shoppers, it feels as if you had just walked into someone's private home and they wish you would leave. Good place to check out for a bargain, but if you need help or have a question, you will feel like you are an annoyance to them, not a source of income. So four stars for the bargains and variety, three stars for the pricing but one star for atmosphere and attitudes.
I love going there. It's like a flea market but 6 days a week! I find things I need and things I want whenever I go. When I first moved here, I got so many things I needed and the staff is great. When I am leaving, I always say "see you next time" because I will be back.
Super nice people and they have the nice things low prices. I find the coolest things that you can't find any where else. I go there first when I need something .
Great deals. Staff even let me haggle with them from time to time. Occasional collectibles and antiques at bargain prices. Pretty refreshing in the modern age of middle-aged women selling "shabby chic" wood pallet tables an other garbage at borderline-rape prices.
A lot of cool stuff for the bargain hunter. It's a thrift store, so don't expect the staff to know everything about everything! They have very good prices on most items. A bit pricey on the collectibles, but then who isn't?
Some of their pricing is bewildering (this IS all used items), and the staff seems to have a lot to talk about - to each other only! The staff rarely get off their chairs to help you unless you are buying something at the register and they fail to talk to people on the sales floor, but I must say that they don't really seem to know much, if anything, about what they are selling. Come here and you are pretty much on your own.
