Excellent / professional service! Jeff was a pleasure to work and was able to return my car timely at a very fair price. Would recommend to family and friends. We presently live in PDX but had driven a couple hours south since he could beat any surrounding price (I retrieved 8 or so bids from local transmission shops).
James had done me right when they were just starting up several years ago. This time however they were asked to fix a ticking noise and they did not fix it. When I called to say it is still ticking, Jeff said that I would have to bring it in again and pay another diagnostic fee. I called back and spoke with James and he said, " consider us a car doctor and every time you go to the doctor you have to pay your deductable". I couldn't believe what he said! Fist off, my deductable for the doctor is 20.00. Clearly alot less than a diagnostic! Secondly, when I explained that the car still is ticking, Jeff was condescending and short as well. I used to believe they were honest but my opinion has changed dramatically!
Dude is really nice and helped us right away he even looked at our car for free and told us what was wrong he was very fair with the price I will be definitely recommending to my friends and family to come to this place for their car problems, I also love how their friendly dogs greet u when u get there.
I had taken my 2003 Dodge Ram to to 4 different shops to fix a shifting problem in the transmission. 2 shops didn't want to deal with it. 2 shops identified the problem as a cluster issue but didn't want to mess with it. I took the truck to Jet Auto and wiring a few days had the problem fixed and now my truck is running great. I would highly recommend this shop. Great guys!!
Great service treat you with respect and very informative with what they are doing . They do a great job! Friendly environment and I love that you get greeted by their friendly dogs !
This is from a facebook post by my husband in the Stayton Community Connections facebook page: Shout out to Jet Auto on E. Water St downtown. This father-son team are my heroes! Twice now I have been in a pinch with my 300K mile 2007 Toyota Yaris. Both times they said they were booked for a few weeks out understandably but told me to leave the car and they might get around to looking at it. Both times they have called me by the end of the day saying it was fixed, and they hardly charged me anything for the repairs both times. Not what you think of an auto shop. I have always been afraid to try someplace new, thinking they would gouge you for this and that. They have a customer for life with me and i’ve had my son take his rig there and have told many other people about them. I made sure I booked my PT cruiser for them to look at before I posted this on the community Facebook page.😂 Thank you again Jet Auto and happy holidays! 🎅
They are honest, good people. The dealership I used to use, left a sensor unplugged after servicing. Gave me back my car with engine light on. Jet auto found the problem first thing. Didn't charge me. A word of caution about stayton ford service. They didn't seem to have time or care about doing a good job. But Jet auto saved me from a huge mechanical issue. Thank you Jet!
Went there with an ignition problem on my truck. Thought I'd have to replace the ignition and went as far as getting a price for the part and labor. I was given a price of about $250 which I thought was fair and reasonable. Made an appointment and took my truck in. I get a call the next day and was told my truck was ready and that it would be 85 bucks. Turns out the ignition was okay, it was just a minor spring that was causing my problem. These guys, like many mechanics I've dealt with in the past, could have just replaced the ignition, taken my money for unnecessary repairs and I wouldn't have been any wiser. But no, they not only did the right thing, but they did it and solved my problem and saved me almost 200 bucks. To say I appreciated their honesty would be an understatement. The 2 gents I dealt with were also friendly and professional. From here on I'll be using Jet for any of our mechanical issues. Great job guys.
Real good business to take my rig for repair. Work has been well done and pricing has been fair. Treated me very fair with fast work when a window on my pickup would not roll up.
We were lucky to find this shop! Had been on a road trip to nearby waterfalls and car started making terrible screeching noises. It turned out to just be a rock stuck in our brakes (or something like that) - they fixed it free of charge and let me hang out with their cute dog the whole time. First time going to a mechanic actually made my day more enjoyable.
You're better off either taking it somewhere else or throwing money on the fire pit... if you like to waste your time and money.cause boy are these guys con artists.i took my car in for simple repair and was told by the owner that nothing could be done...so I asked what all he did and he basically just read the error code and didn't attempt to fix the fuel injector but still charged me 300 dollars for the "diagnostic" fee and another 200 for "welding" a muffler leak (took it to a muffler shop that would have done it for 30 bucks) stay away from these filthy people if you value your car
It's been a few weeks now since JET AUTO replaced the engine to my 2005 Kia Sorento. Keep in mind (for those local), James worked on my vehicle during the week of the Oregon fires.

I am so thankful for Jet Auto! They took great care of my son this last summer when he was stranded after buying a small bus out in Sweet Home. They were professional, considerate, speedy and thorough in their diagnosis and services. They guaranteed their work, too. They are a warm, caring family run shop doing honest and quality service. If I lived 400 miles closer I would bring all my families vehicles into Jet:)!
My teen daughter was referred to a different location to start (which was closed). I made a quick call, and they said, "Send her over. We will take care of her." They did! The first text I got from her was, "This place is great - they have 3 dogs!" (She is a hopeful future veterinarian- so animals in the work place is important to her). I left work a little early worried she would be taken advantage of. I was SO wrong! They found a loose connection and something else (she speaks science and not car language and could not recite anything other than vacuum seal and loose wires lol). They told her if it didn't fix the problem - which they could not replicate there - to come back. They sent her on her way without charge and a working car. I will DEFINITELY refer them and return to them if I need work. I am surprised at the kindness they displayed at the tail end of their workday and to a young gal who had no idea what she was doing when she showed up there. Thank you for making it a very positive experience.
Fast turn around and really nice people! Brought my car in and was quoted about 250 less than anybody in salem would repair a waterpump/timing belt. My car had been sitting for about a month when I brought it in and died right at the end of the street. Nice enough to walk down, jump it and drive it to the shop for me! Definitely going to tell my friends
We broke down 1000 miles away from home,, they fixed our Jeep they where so nice fair, kind helpful! Really I can't say thank you enough to them!! BTW very clean shop!!
I cant tell you the number of times jeds auto has gone above and beyond the today standards . They have been friendly, professional , very affordable, honest and amazing mechanics and wonderful people. I won't take my truck anywhere else. Its really nice and extremely rare to have been able to find a shop lile theirs. I am rarely impressed with businesses. But I honestly am with this place.
Extremely fast service! Called around different shops in the area and was told the same thing...”gonna be a couple weeks before we can get to it”. Jet Auto was the only place to ask me what the problem was on the phone. Better yet, they were able to diagnose and fix my faulty CV Joint SAME DAY! Incredibly reliable and honest people at Jet Auto and Repair.
Took my car in to get my it repaired, and I felt they were very fair. They did a good job, they repaired the left CV joints installed a new one, a new speedometer cable, checked the car for overheating and repaired a vacuum leak I felt the price right for the work. I would recommend the shop to anybody. Thanks
They always goes above and beyond. Couple guys stayed after business hours to look at my car. They are fast and professional. They will go out of their way to make sure your car can get you to where your going. The prices are cheaper then any where i know of. I brought my car in on a weekend when they were close. Even they said " we are typically not open today but since i am here ill look at your car". Most places would of said come back Monday-Friday.
Very professional, easy to talk to about my vehicles issues. Checked in regularly to give me updates, and they stand behind there work. I'm very pleased with my experience here.
Got towed out of the woods and dropped at Jet auto repair on a Sunday afternoon. We made contact with the owner and he generously let us put the car inside the gate overnight and got working on things right away Monday morning. Overall good shop experience!
Excellent experience working with James at Jet Auto. I went in fully aware that I did not have the thousand plus needed to fix my blown air conditioning system. James not only worked worked with me but also helped me figure out a cost effective method to to fixing the a/c without going overboard as the other shops were insisting. In the long run he got my a/c blowing ice cold, and at a more then reasonable cost. I really appreciated the honest and true effort on his behalf, he really does care. Thank you, I will be back! !
