The new West side is excellent for dropping of all your recycled materials. It lacks two things. Some way of holding cardboard. Amazon boxes fill the bins :). The other is an accessible aluminum drop off. Currently you have to go beyond everything to find the aluminum crusher. Not convenient. But... This is quite an improvement for owasso!!
We've been using ORC for years now to take care of things too large to dispose of in our normal receptacles. Great for garage cleanouts and spring cleaning. Their prices have risen a bit over the years, but they're still really reasonable for the convenience. People are always nice and friendly as well.
Very disappointed in them I normally come here because it's my favorite dump but 20 bucks for five garbage bags and they wouldn't let me dump my trailer because it has tree limbs in it but it's mostly plastic and rubber and tarp material but I won't be coming here no more and I I would recommend not going there find your business somewhere else somewhere that won't charge 20 bucks for five garbage bags
Closed on Mondays? This is a city site and it’s closed on the most important day. Closed during normal hours because they are full? No tires? Well that’s why they get dumped on the side of the road. Don’t even bother going here. Just go to 46th st.
I like the new 24hr self serve format for many recyclable items. However, with the staffed part of the place closed on Sunday and Monday. The bins and compactors get full and overflowing by Sunday all the time.
Glad that we have some way to recycle in this town since for whatever reason all citizens aren’t just provided a recycling dumpster like every other place I’ve lived does as the standard. Do you all want your kids to grow up to live in a trashy garbage dump environment? No? Ok then let’s recycle people. Get it together Owasso. ♻️
We have lived in Owasso for a month and have had horrible luck with the recycling center either having parts closed or full to overflowing. We have had to turn around and go home with all our recyclables still with us.
It's 2024. How in the world does this town not have recycling pickup? It's completely ridiculous.
If you're going to make people go through all this work, at least empty out the receptacles in a timely manner.
This place is a ripoff, when owasso starts to see washers and dryers, and bags of trash along the interstate maybe they will lower the prices , this should be included in our high taxes that we already pay
Great this place is there but, I feel, some people may be put off by the traffic flow and time to get through. Its one way but the people in line to dump refuse seem unaware that they should stay to the left to allow traffic that has already dropped off recyclables to pass by them and get out. Next time, I'll probably do what the guy did that held me up when I first tried to get in, by going out the entry.
No way to message the center directly to suggest something is changed so hopefully someone reads this.
They are very helpful if you don't know what bin to use for recycling they will point you in the right way. We take all paper, plastic, glass, cans and boxes to be recycled.
Always keep clean the staff always helpful. One suggestion - step stools or metal built-in steps at the plastic bins for us that the city built the sidewalks too close to our bottoms. ?
Great service. The place is very well kept. Recycling is an easy do it yourself service at this location and everything is labeled well and precise to ensure proper recycling. The manager and assistant at the center are both very friendly and helpful. If they can't help you they will give you information about a place that can. The pricing for dumping is much less expensive than the dump, overall an easy to use local service.
