Danny was super helpful with a battery replacement under warranty, as well as diagnosing a separate problem that was causing a check engine light with another vehicle, during the same visit. More accessible auto parts store location than other stores in Owasso, and better prices. Will continue to get auto parts at this location. ?

They couldn't answer any questions I had about car AC or rubber trim for cars. Very unhelpful and didn't care , I guess because I interrupted her snack break because she was chewing food the whole time. Spoke with the long Gray haired person.

I live out of town, and I came in here tonight, right before closing and I was frantic.Because my car was acting up. I had to get a jump from a Good Samaritan in a parking lot, and I went straight to Advanced and had my battery tested. Turns out , I needed a new battery. David was an outstanding employee and he exceeded my expectations with his excellent customer service and caring heart. Thank you so much for helping me, and installing my new battery in my car, all before closing time. There should be more people in the world like David !

Well! It's pretty clear by reading the reviews that this store has not learned it lesson in customer care. I have always come to this store for my auto needs. Regardless, I will not be returning EVER. I had a legit problem and after employees not being able to help OR give me a corporate phone number (which in fact is not visible ANYWHERE in the store, nor did the employees know it.) They did not have a phone number for their district manager either! That's too bad, used to be a good place back in the day. They truly need customer care training. Just terrible! I just took my business elsewhere!

After the employee stopped goofing around enough to get to the register, I was informed by him they don’t take cash over a $20. So if you aren’t buying with a card , do not go here.

I want to thank the new store manager David and the new area manager Amber for their help with my transmission issue. They stepped in and got with the 3rd party vendor and delivered great results to me. Extremely pleased customer !

Will not be doing any business with this store refused too issue a refund for an unopened car part I didn't need with the receipt and everything a 20 dollar part not very expensive I suppose losing a customer over a inexpensive part means more too this store don't shop here go too one of the other auto part stores.

I’ve been going to this store for many years. It is my go-to store. Today I needed my battery checked after waiting all day for Triple AAA to jump my truck. I was refused by the employee because they don’t check batteries below 40F - it was 36F. In fact he referred me to O’Rileys. He was doing NOTHING. Guess my little problems don’t matter- that’s ok. O’Riley’s is my go-to store. Maybe you should make it yours. Boo!!

My boyfriend and I came in to purchase new windsheild wipers. After they were done helping the other customers, we had walked up to the counter and the woman immediately gave us an almost disgusted face. We asked her if she could help us find the right windshield wipers for the car and if she could come help us look for the best one for the best price. She asked us (sounding very annoyed for some reason?) about the car and did a quick search and told us the sizes, but was quick to turn and continue what she was doing before. We decided to walk around a little more and when I would turn corners to the next isles the workers would be staring at us and watching us shop. We finally went to the wiper isle and a man came over and asked if we were needing anything. We had asked if he could help us look for the best wipers for the best price. My boyfriend had mentioned that we asked the lady for help but she did not seem very interested in helping. The man immediately laughed a little and said “Let’s just address the elephant in the room… you two smell horribly like marijuana. That is probably why.” I immediately was taken aback because I had nothing on me in the store and did not think at all that I smelled that horribly of weed. But even then, my boyfriend and I have our MEDICAL marijuana cards for seizures, chronic pain, brain injury, mental health, etc. When I mentioned that yes I do have a MEDICAL CARD in a LEGAL STATE but nothing on me in the store , the man said that it did not matter and continued to tell us that they did not want to help because we smelled like pot. I got very defensive because this is supposed to be our medication, so the man kicked us out and asked us to leave. We immediately left the store and sat out in the parking lot for a second to register why that even just happened. After seeing us still in the parking lot the man came out and took a picture of the back of our car. We ended up leaving and going to the Bumper to Bumper auto parts place on 76th and not only are their prices SO MUCH better and cheaper for better quality, the workers actually came out and ASKED to put the wipers on FOR US because it was storming. Bumper to Bumper is the place to go, bless them. I’ve heard of Advanced Auto Parts being trash for a while but now I really won’t be wasting my time with their horrible staff and customer service skills again. Medical marijuana keeps my boyfriend from having seizures and this has helped him for many years because due to his brain injury. Not that I should have to explain that to an auto parts worker though. People should not be disrespected for using their medication legally. The staff here really needs to light a joint or something and humble themselves.

I picked up a used car and the battery terminals were loose. I stopped at this location to purchase a wrench to tighten them. Instead, I decided to purchase a small tool kit to keep in the truck. The person who rang me up seemed bothered and was less than friendly. But, I bought the $40 tool kit, said thank you, and stepped outside to tighten the clamps. Suddenly, I urgently needed to use the restroom. So, I stepped back inside and asked. The other individual curtly said "Nope. We don't have public restrooms." I wasn't someone walking down the street who popped in just to use the restroom. I was a paying customer. I just spent $40 and I can't use the restroom? There are plenty of other auto parts stores in Owasso. I recommend you go to one of them. Maybe they'll have more appreciation for their customers.

I called to get info on coolant worried about the blue color (I thought it was filled with washer fluid)requesting info and Grayson recommended to contact the last technician who serviced it . Then preceded to investigate himself and went out of his way to call me back with detailed information of why my Asian coolant could have been this color from my dealer. Awesome service I appreciate this so much. Thanks Grayson.

I purchased 4 spark plugs, when I got home i discovered they were the wrong size. The next morning I went back to exchange the plugs. I walked in, told the Mgr I was given the wrong plugs. He seemed to take that personal and asked me for my recept. I did not have one, he immediately said I cant refund on electronics without one. This is a lie, he later admitted that they make exceptions. I also called the store in Claremore and they said they would exchange them no . problem. I asked the Mgr if he was serious, he said yes. I did give him a pice of my mind. I have it on video, i did not cuss I did not get loud. He just ignored me, he also told other workers not to help me. I asked two employees, One obviously wanted to but the Mgr told him not to. The other was an older man wearing overalls and he was fine not helping me. I told them I was not leaving and sat on the online counter. I did talk to other customers, told them what they were doing to me. I had hay to move, its hot and I cant run because my old equipment fouls the plug. I cant work without the plug. I made multiple attempts to just exchange the plugs. The Mgr mentioned the Policy. I went to a sign in the store and read the policy on returns with no reciept. It said I could get a gift Card to use in the store. I asked the Mgr If i could get the refund on a card like the policy said. He responded NO. He finally called the police and they forced me to leave. I noticed there are several complaints at this store about the Mgr at this store. I'm not surprised, I have the rewards app, they can check my account and see when I purchased the plugs, they can see that I'm spending money in there regularly. I have been a customer for years but this Mgr blew all that over his feelings and a Spark Plug. I have contacted corporate, they have already offered me a $30 gift card that I declined. The Regional Mgr is supposed to call me tomorrow. The amount of time and money this guy wasted, mine, his, and the corporate people but he really taught me. He wasted to cops time, 3 cops arrived to ask a 54 year old customer to leave. I know Its hard to find quality Mgr's these days but this Mgr is very inefficient. I added this via edit, 4 days later I have contacted customer service 3 times and I can't even get a call back. The regional mgr was supposed to call me with in 24 hours. It has been about 60 hours and nothing. I called and they said they would send this to the VP, he gets things done. Still nothing. I just want the correct spark plugs. Do not shop here or but their stock. I cant believe they wont just exchange the plugs.

I've shopped here for years and always bought my vehicle batteries from here just because it's proximity to me. I was treated so unfairly in their store today and on the phone by their manager I will NEVER Walk into another advance Auto parts. The manager there is telepathic by the way he could Tell I was upset about spending $130 and didn't get everything I was supposed to get. He didn't care though. He called me a nuisance and hung up on me. Edit. He then called me back from the business number claiming I had harassed him and he had made a police report. I hope those conversations ARE recorded because I don't know what he's talking about. But then to top it all off he threatened to post negative things about my friends local business because we are affiliated in his computer. He used his company's resources to find something out about me and then threatened action on someone not even involved

I bought a battery less than a year ago that wouldn't hold a charge. When I went to have it tested, their charge testing system was down, so the manager replaced the battery no questions asked! I love this place! They are always so kind and helpful!

Went in to the Owasso store on 86th st north after my battery died and was in a really bad mood. Been messing with my car all day in this oklahoma heat. A guy named Brett helped me out and was super nice even though I was in such a bad mood. He really turned my day around and it's nice to see some people spreading positivity in this world we need more people like him. He got me a brand new batter with my warranty instead of making me wait to try and charge it and test it again which I really did not want to deal with. I just wanted a good battery and he got it thanks a lot!

I’ve only been in here a handful of times but I’ve never had a bad experience. Their curbside pickup is always quick and easy, their prices are fair and their staff is super friendly. Just today, my key fob for my car died and I had no idea how to replace the battery or what kind I needed. I took it in to see if they would help and Ross took the time to show me how to replace it in the future, found out what I needed, fixed it for me, and made sure I tested it out just in case there was any issue. I was in and out in under five minutes and for under five dollars but I will definitely be back!

Well used to be a great place to get parts but last sevral times I've been in there they sold me the wrong part or non working parts. And then threw fits over exchanging them. These folks are not knowledgeable and there system just sucks. If you choose to shop here do your repairs in the parking lot you will be headed back

Not a good auto parts experience, just went in for some chemtool and it was almost impossible to find. After 2 trips around the store with 3 employees standing around at the parts counter not busy, I asked someone. Very poor planogramming. Customer service lacked because it was obvious I couldn't find what I was looking for. They were nice though. I also needed to pick up an online order that come to find out part of it was being shipped. I didn't pay attention to the website but for some reason it split it up. Advance lost a customer today.

This happened a few years ago but I had received the wrong brake pads and needed to go exchange for the right ones right before close. I called and the manager on duty said he'd wait for me to come swap out before locking the doors. Not only was this excellent customer service but he also helped me when I was desperately trying to change the brakes before work the next day. Love this place and the rest of the staff are excellent as well!

Jason is absolutely correct, this store policy is horrible. I tried to return a brand new idler pulley and they would not let me return it without the box. I had the receipt with the date on it, 1.5 weeks earlier. Nope. Wasted $25. No more advance auto for me.

I love advanced auto and to be honest, this store is one of the most professional I’ve seen whether I do an online order or an in-store order they are never pushy, they know what they are talking about and they are just there to help. Pleasantly surprised. I’ll be back again.

They're a good chain, decent prices,warranty, can get most part you need. They ask your phone number when making a purchase so they can add you to the computer. I had made a purchase for a spark plug wrench,ratchet and socket. Was changing spark plugs on location. When I exited the shoplifting alarm sounded. The socket had a magnetic tag that needed disabled. It wasn't a very expensive socket and it made me wonder. Good job!
