What clients say about Copart - Oklahoma City in Oklahoma City (OK)

I think my favorite part is watching the lot guys go crazy when a mustang or a Camaro shows up for them lol

Got a manual car from here that had clean title no damage and stated runs and drives. When the car came we had to push it off the truck because it had clutch damage and wasn’t going in gear. I contacted them and they keep saying same story over and over about how I misread their general terms about inspection and how in over time I will get more experienced. It’s obvious fraud. Copart needs more regulations this shouldn’t be allowed.

Not really doing business with them in a traditional sense.... We had a vehicle accident with a total loss and our insurance is contracted with Copart... They came out and towed the vehicle away, very quick and efficient, only hiccup was our insurance instructions didn't advise us to remove our OK tag... Once we realized we needed to pull our tag it was gone but Copart was super friendly and helpful and we were able to get our tag back.

Super easy process - helpful, friendly staff got me in and out fast. Best Copart location I’ve dealt with yet. Know that this location is DIFFERENT from the Madera lot. This location is where you pickup the titles though.

Terrible service. Took over an hour to get my vehicle back. They loaded over 20 other vehicles for people that showed up after me because they didn't want to get out of their loader to take pictures of the vehicle. Wish zero starts was an option

I’m a premium member and they randomly suspended my account after I bought a truck so I couldn’t even pick it up or have it delivered to my house! This will be the last time I buy anything from Copart. There’s plenty of other auction sites out there

They stole several things out of my car after it was towed to their facility. When I confronted them about it all they say is “we don’t have your things”. They also completely wrecked the inside of my car. Why were you guys even in the car ????

They gave my title to someone else and I waited 23 day until they just told me to bring it back and they will reimburse me for the purchase but will not cover the 2nd tow due to their inability to make it right.

I wish I could give them a 0 star review the worst customer service ever! Took so long, didn’t tell me anything about my car, stolen my personal belongings . NEVER COME HERE!

The customer service today was exceptionally well. The young lady who helped me by the name of Ruby, was extremely polite. Courteous answered all my questions and even answered a couple. I didn’t even have highly recommend asking for Ruby.

My son was involved in an accident and his vehicle was moved by the at-fault party insurance to Copart. This was our first experience with this type of accident, but Copart was helpful and great customer service. They did their best to help us as much as they could with answering our questions and directing us (unlike the terrible at-fault insurance company we had at deal with for several weeks).

Last Wednesday I got into a wreck and had my car towed tot he wrecker service because Copart was closed. Copart was supposed to be picked up the next day, Thursday, and it was not. They finally picked the car up on Friday, I confirmed so via phone and was told it was checked in. Yesterday (Monday) I called to check the status of the car and was told it had just been checked in, despite being told differently before the weekend. After calling today, I was told that the car had just been checked in today (Tuesday) and nothing had been done. I should have never done any business with Copart, they are slow and seem to only give out false information. The process is painstaking enough without having to deal with backtracking for 3 business days on what is actually happening with my car. DO NOT RECOMMEND, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Very nice and helpful ladies in the office. Note: If you are picking up a vehicle from the sub lot your keys are at the main lot a few miles away.

Outstanding and upstanding place! Wholesale dealer was caught illegally selling to the public through this location and was turned into the state!

I think the lady at the front with the GLASSES needs to read these reviews. She’s rude and disrespectful and everyone in there knows it. They have to see and hear what’s going on. Someone screwed up my title 3 times in one day then left for the rest of the week before I could come back !

I've noticed that I'm not alone in thinking that the OKC location is not great. The app wouldn't let me pay with card for some reason, so we called to see if I needed 2 separate cashier's checks (I bought 2 cars). They said I only needed one. I get there and they tell me that I need one for each car. I had them check to make sure everything else was correct on the cashier's check, they confirmed. I went back with 2 separate checks. They said their system couldn't clear them, but they didn't know why. I called the customer service center who told me that it was due to my name being different (the check had my middle initial instead of my full middle name). The lady at the location blamed the customer service office for giving false information about the single check, but she refused to give me any additional information to resolve this issue. She is not friendly and not helpful. For anyone who needs to know, they don't take cash payments on location, they do take cashier's checks, but it needs to be one for each lot you buy, and if it doesn't match the name of your Copart account exactly, they won't take it. You will have to call the customer service line to use debit or credit card to pay if it doesn't give you that option on the app.

They took my license plate and sent the car to the repair shop without it. I had to file a police report for stolen plate. Best part is, Copart didnt even call me about it. The repair shop called me saying Copart took it. Then I drove to pickup the license plate, they told me they threw away the screws for the plate and couldn't provide me new ones. Now i have to continue driving without a license plate, and buy the screws myself that they threw out for no reason.

Terrible customer service and very unhelpful. I walked in there trying to ask a genuine question and they just straight up treated me with disrespect especially the lady with the thick black glasses, someone needs to put her in check. The lady was targeting me and I don’t appreciate that. If you want any civilized conversation or customer service I would not recommend this place. I’d rather drive thousands of miles to go anywhere other than here. If management is reading this please evaluate your workers, thank you.

Had to wait in line for like 20 mins before another person came to help. The lady that waited on me was very kind, an helpful. She went out of her way to process my paperwork today so I wouldn't have to wait until Monday. Thank you so much.

Rude. Unhelpful. Tell you one thing, and then NEVER follow through. Communication is nearly non-existant, and when you do get it, it's convoluted and inconsistent. Wasn't even an insurance issue, I was simply selling my car to them. Edit : STILL TRYING TO GET THE MONEY THEY OWE ME!!!! Their own bank won't cash out the check they wrote me!

This place has comedically horrible customer service. I was waiting for someone to tell me I was being punked and Ashton was standing by with his camera level awful. My horse trailer has been here due to insurance company dragging their feet 7 months on a claim. The insurance company finally released the trailer, gave us 10 days to pick it up and this office told us to bring a cashiers check, that was it. We arrive to get it after driving about 10 hours straight from TN. The front desk receptionist is again, comically awful with customer service. Tells us she will have to get approval for the cashiers check, that they are “cracking down on them” …the cashiers check from a bank, that we were told to bring… after watching them run from office to office, not saying a word to us as we stand up front. They sit in the managers offices for 20 min, she comes back out, again no explanation what just occurred or why it took them running around to different offices and 20 minutes to get approval for the payment method we were asked to bring by them….and she processes my $1200 storage fee, directs us to the lot to wait for someone to come get us. Another guy comes to get us and takes us to the trailer that was not placed on a block so it’s sunk in the ground so low we can’t get it on our truck. They tell us they can’t help and won’t touch it. They aren’t allowed to. We are clearly frustrated and ready to be done with this entire process and so the guys offer to help but have to get the managers approval. The manager, who I have never met or had any interaction with prior to today, comes out slamming his doors of his truck and is immediately hostile and don’t forget, comedic level rude….does not address us, walks past us and talks to the lot guys then angrily comes and tells us it’s not their job to help us or how the trailer is dropped off there, and we should have been prepared, there’s photos on line (online photos are from arrival not showing it sunk a foot in the ground), and it wasn’t their fault no one told us it was sunk because we did not specifically ask that. He continues to stomp around slamming doors, talking to the guys as if we aren’t standing right there, making rude comments and passive aggressive statements regarding the trailer and insurance company dealings. The lot guys offer to lift it for us out of the hole and the manager tells them “if they break something, their fired today”and continues to try to discourage them from helping us…telling them “it’s going to be so bad if they break something and he isn’t going to be responsible, they’ll be fired”. I mean this guy was hyped up and hellbent on making our lives as difficult as possible it seemed. Not sure what made us the target for his (hopefully not regularly occurring) vitriol today. Told us we could go to the parking lot and call a company to have them come lift it. Those were our options. The lot guys offer to try to lift it and say they’re willing to help but had to get approval. They get it out of the hole, we finally get hooked up and the manager once again slams his truck door to move out of our way and follows us out. Does not apologize for his nasty demeanor, lack of professionalism or say anything for that matter. Hopefully out of embarrassment but that would require a level of self awareness I don’t feel was present with this guy. I don’t know how this place stays in business with this lack of basic human decency and customer service skills but at the very least this manager deserves his own TV show if he greats customers like this on the daily… and I hope so badly he was just having a bad day. A real bad day apparently… Otherwise I feel bad for these guys who work for him because they did at-least have the hearts to help us and see we were tired, stressed and just wanted to get out of their hair and on our way home. Anyway, thanks to the guys who helped us be able to get out of there. This ordeal made us never want to step foot in the state of Oklahoma again. As for the rest of you….i hope you all have the day you deserve.

I bought a 2007 Explorer here about 6 months ago. I paid all the fees the day of the sale and went to pick up the title and was told that there was a $5 storage fee. I had been in touch with them the prior 2 days and was getting transportation ready since they would not let me drive the vehicle away from Copart even though the vehicle was drivable. It cost me an additional $100 to rent a trailer to take a drivable vehicle home. One of the workers said they would waive the $5 storage fee since the vehicle could be driven but it was their policy to require all vehicles be towed or put on a trailer. Now, 6 months later, I try to log in to find another vehicle and found out my account had been suspended because the $5 wasn't waived I was told and my account showed that I owed it. All buyers pay a $200 purchase fee. Copart also charges the sellers so they're collecting $$$ both ways. So Copart just lost a customer ready to pay $200 over $5.

The Oklahoma City location has horrible customer service. In the office, one person sort of works the counter while all the rest file their nails. The guys in the yard don't care about anything other than lunch breaks

DONT DO IT! When listing cars, they try to make them appear as though they have minor problems, but when you pick them up, you find that the engine is bad or that there is a serious problem. When I explained the problem to customer service, I was told, "We are not mechanics." When you call customer service to speak with a manager, they are either never there or are always busy. Really, are you serious? When I tell you that Copart has changed, I mean it—I've purchased over 50 cars from them. Their sole concern is making a sale. .. It's not worth it, so save your money and go somewhere else.

It’s bad that I can’t put -1, I’m a single mother and can’t afford to buy a car from a dealer, I decided to buy at an auction, I chose a car that had a clean title, primary damage is hail. I was fine with that. No more information. I came to pick up the car, and there was a surprise, half the engine was missing from the car, I tried to contact the manager, they told me he is busy, the parking lot was closing and my car was already on the truck. They asked us to leave. I wrote a letter with a photo to GM Austin Hampton. I received the answer, "you are the owner of what you bought" this means Copart can violate the rights of the buyer by providing false information, if the engine wilI be there but not working, in this case I don't have complaints, but is not there. YOU ARE FRAUDSTERS. You are required to indicate that the car has mechanical problems

My truck was taken to co-part for an insurance claim awaiting the estimate. While the truck was there it was piled full of junk and debris. I filed a follow-up claim with my insurance and co-part denied their part and denied damaging my truck bed. I emailed and called to speak with a manager and they would not respond or speak with me about the deductible I am stuck with paying.

We came here slightly after 3:30PM during the weekday. It gets crowded later on, since a lot people just got done with work, and are also coming in. There is a QR code at the front door, where you can scan and hold your place at the line. We fill out some paperwork, and decided to wait outside, since it was getting crowded inside. The waiting space was cramped, and you will be rubbing shoulder with whoever is waiting alongside you. My recommendation to this place is to have the option to call/text the people waiting outside when they are ready. This way, the people waiting outside do not have to constantly come back in to check on their status in the line. This beats having to be cramped in the waiting area, especially during the pandemic.

I've been to my share of Copart facilities and I have to say my experience here paying for and picking up my motorcycle was one of the smoothest experiences I've had at a Copart. The lady behind the counter was very efficient, friendly, and helpful. I believe I talked to a girl named Jennifer when I called and she was very cordial and helpful in explaining procedures for motorcycles and COVID. The forklift driver was also very helpful and guided me into the garage to load up the bike. All in all, an amazing experience compared to some other Copart facilities...
