Needed a short tow and they were fast and friendly. Probably the best experience I’ve ever had with a towing service.

My daughter had a blowout on the Muskogee turnpike and I was in Texas. After being told by another local company that nobody around could get there sooner than three hours, I called EJ Mayes and Westley was there in 30 minutes. Towed her back to a tire shop on a Saturday in time to get it fixed... Truly a hero without a cape, and the only shop in the Muskogee area I will call in the future.. THANKS!!!!!

I see yall are rude to the people who give you bad complaints but I do not care, we go through carhop our car has a warranty, our car was blowing white smoke, had a knock in the front end and was sounding like it was about to die if you was stopped while engine on. Carhop called told us take it here they would pay for everything done, Mayes had our car for a week I think and they was supposed to call to tell us what was wrong with it but they never did, called yesterday to tell us our car was ready and we had to pay $140 if we wanted our keys but fixed nothing on the car because nothing was wrong except the oil filter was loose, carhop told them they was not paying for anything so therefore Mayes should have called us like they said to tell us what was wrong with it so that we could tell them no because the oil filter was not loose, so we was out of $140 just for our car to still be in the same condition it was and hope the car doesn’t blow up while our kids are in it!!

Affordable service. Stuck about 10 miles out of town. Mayes has the best prices and got my truck home fast. Didn't have to wait hours like some of the others

Only good thing I have to say is, they are the only company that came right out. With that being said, one of their drivers came out to my wife who was stuck in a ditch(ended up being 12 hours in ice and bloew feezing temps). "Says" he got stuck. The guy walked down and gave my wife a jump cause her car had died from trying to get out on her own. The driver ended up taking two of the people who was also stuck in the same ditch(but did not call them) and told my wife he was going to get his snow chains and he would be back. Even though he says he got stuck, it is hard to believe when he got out so easily. Never came back. Never called to say anything. My wife ended up being out there for another 5-6 hours before I could get to her. Would not recommend. *Edit for response purposes* I said what was the most important. Yes you were technically the first place I called due to us calling AAA first(duh it's a already paid for service) secondly we canceled because the person we talked to while scheduling with you all told me which companies in the area are contracted with AAA. WHAT DOES ANY OF THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING. Isn't that what people do? Shop around? Call people until we find someone who has the best deal? My wife refused for a good reason. Still doesn't explain why the guy told her he would be back and didn't even call.......does it? Lastly, this is a review. It is opinion based. I only review as I saw fit. I did not straight say the guy lied about being stuck. I gave my opinion on it. Anybody reading this can judge on their own. So let me add after reading your reply. Unprofessional.

Just... no. Imagine if the mountain men from the movie Deliverance ran a wrecker shop instead of prowling for strangers along the river. They dented my truck door, overcharged me, and were sloppy from start to finish. I wouldn't ask these guys to tow my truck again if it was parked on my foot and they were right there ready.

I called to get an estimate to tow my classic car he quoted me a very reasonable quote. I asked how soon they could due it he was there in 20 minutes, great fast service. I highly recommend them.

I have taken my truck to plenty of other places and called everywhere in the Muskogee area to fix issues with my truck and they guaranteed next day work. The truck was fixed fastest I have ever seen and he addressed other major issues without breaking the bank. 15/10 would recommend to anyone who is serious about repairs.

Assuming I was speaking with the owner. The gentleman was absolutely amazing. Truly a blessing in an emergent time of need. I will forever call this company if ever need towed again!

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, when they impound a vehicle they don’t bother to tell you they take cash only until they lock you in the back with your vehicle and you have to pay before they unlock the gate. WHY NOT TELL YOU THAT BEFORE HE OPENS THE GATE IN THE FIRST PLACE?! Would NOT recommend this company to anyone!!

I was in a wreck and my truck was taken here they were super nice let me in several times to get stuff out of my truck and told me that I could leave my truck there till the insurance company came to get it no matter what they told me I definitely would use them agin

Tell me why its taking 7 days to fix an alternator just for them to turn around and screw it up and not do it right?

I am from out of town. Broke down on the south side of Muskogee @ 3am. Had called another wrecker service who was busy and stated it would be a couple of hours before they got to me. While waiting, a tow truck driver for E J Mayes was driving by & he stopped and asked if I needed assistance. Very nice young man. He towed my vehicle to their shop in the middle of the night, and I slept in my car on their lot until the shop opened at 8am. As soon as the owner got there, he ordered the part needed for my car and promptly got it fixed so I could get back on the road. Great service, prices, and people. The first impression they made will make me a repeat customer, if I ever need assistance in the Muskogee area again!

Wheel bearings started going out while passing through Oklahoma and they got everything fixed within 2 hours so I could get back home. Really nice too.

They guy who picked up my Jeep from my house was friendly and funny, will use them again if I have any issues.

Fast service, friendly, and a life saver. Absolutely love this company because they are so dependable, reasonable, and have never damaged my vehicle like other tow companys!!

Drove over 700 miles to Muskogee from Colorado and when I got here the water pump broke. They towed the vehicle to their shop first thing in the morning and had it back to me the same day because I was leaving a day later. Appreciated them getting the car in so quickly so I can return home as planned and at a great price.

Wrecker service was good but they had my car for a week. it went in overheating they told me overflow tank was broke. After them having it a week and doing nothing to fix it we had it moved only to find out after them having it it now has a blown head gasket. I'm now looking at it costing me $2000.00 to fix my car when it should have been a $30 fix according to them. Will use the wrecker service but definitely do not recommend the mechanics part of it.

They did a good job and I think they tried to save me all the money I could under the circumstances. They were quite responsive to my needing the work done quickly.

This place is great! They came to the rescue when I was broke down. They were very quick getting to me and getting my car repaired and their prices are fair too!

Everyone at Mayes is really nice ,they gave me a really good deal on a vehicle and it is perfect, runs great. If something ever went wrong with it I know I can take it there and get good service. I want to think all the men at Mayes for there dedication and hard work.

Do not give them your buainess. They towed my vehicle and when I got it back the gas tank had a massive hole leaking everywhere. They said they found it that way and weren't liable. There is no way they found it like that. I was driving it. They are liars and crooks don't trust them.
