My car came here for insurance work. One of the mechanics cut my axle off at the threads when he couldn't get the axle nut back on and seated properly. 6 years laters I have discovered it. I am lucky his ghetto hack job held and didn't cause my wheel to fly off!
I am not bothering with going back for warranty work. Do not hire George Schmidt or have work sent from another shop to this shop. There were other problems I have found and fixed. This one could have killed me and it was in shop for mechanical work after accident.
Not a very good place to go they charged me $400 for a job that they can't do my car is still messed up so go at your own risk I will be taking these people to court and calling business better bureau so be aware when you take your car here
G&M Automotive had replaced all six of my spark plugs. After getting them replaced, I had went to the Ford dealership and had my check engine light diagnosed along with a software update only for them to tell me that I had a cracked spark plug and that they needed replaced and tried to charge me an arm and a leg. I immediately contacted G&M and explained to them what happened and that I had some cracked spark plugs they had just installed on my truck and were never fully fixed. After letting them know what happened they said they would warranty the spark plugs and do all the work again for free!! They know how to take care of their customers that’s for sure.
Great service, quality work. Fair price. My vehicle was a challenge, I had my doubts that it could even be repaired. After I got it back it drove like new again.
I would give them 0 stars if that were an option. After keeping our car for 29 days, they have not fixed it, but are charging me for towing it to their shop. Was told thats the best they can do, they are too busy to do better. I would never take my car somewhere that was gonna hold it for a month before working on it. I was able to file a complaint with the BBB, maybe i will get my money refunded.
This family owned business has helped up out so much, our crew was on project out of town and brokedown after hours. They provided tow service and repaired our truck. only 4 stars due to price, but 5 stars for customer service. thank you for the follow up email with my questions mandy!

I travel frequently to the same places all over the Midwest. These folks took very good care of me getting a transmission fluid and filter change. They did this while I waited. They order parts the day before and unfortunately got the wrong parts. They found the correct parts 50 miles away and went immediately to get them. They showed me the findings and condition of pan and the filter. The job started at 9 and was completed by 2 regardless of the challenges. I am impressed and customer service was 100%! Customer service is WOEFULLY lacking in most places and this place it is not lacking. Great folks!

Absolutely phenomenal ? they didn't question my high pressure fuel pump replacement diagnosis. Just changed it out and did so next day. Returned my vehicle the same day they worked on it. Will be back again if I need anything else soon. Cannot praise them enough. Highly recommend. OH and it was less than half the price the Stealership was charging.
Wasnt my choice to have my car towed but very nice guy all my stuff was there no damage to my vehicle they are very professional if you need a tow give them a call they will take car of you.
The tow truck driver "Eddie" was nice and more than willing to help us with not only with getting my totaled company work van off the highway , but getting us to a hotel and the store since we were 400 miles from home with everything we owned was smashed inside the van. Thanks G&M Automotive and big thanks to Eddie.

This place was highly recommended by my co-workers. I was hesitant, due to the fact I am from out of state. For brakes, rotors and an oil change; I was charged almost $900.00. I called my mechanic back home (NYS) and spoke with him about the price. We both agreed the cost was excessive. I called the facility to express my concern, the person did go over the bill with me. Once I began to explain the research I performed and cost analysis, per part ( a typical job like this would have been, well under $700.00 back home), the person hung up on me.
If they had worked with me on the price, this review would have been much better.
Unless you are a local, don't expect fair service.
I can't remember the guys name but March 14 2019. My suburban broke down out at mid America area. I called several other tow services , they basically said they was busy but could get to me hours later. I called G&M and said they'd be out in 10 minutes. They was on time. Wow was they perfect. Opened the door for me to get in the truck . Curtious on the whole trip home. Made me feel at ease. So G&M please recognize this driver. You have a gem. Good employees are hard to come by.
WORST MECHANIC SHOP IN PRYOR!!! I SPENT 1800 GETTING MY CAR FIXED, THEN A MONTH LATER TOOK IT BACK IN FOR OVERHEATING DIANOSTIC, THEY CHARGED ME 200 FOR A FALSE DIAGNOSTIC, TOLD ME TO "KEEP WATER IN IT" AND I COULDNT EVEN MAKE IT BACK TO TOWN, BROKE DOWN, THEY TOWED ME AND TOLD ME MY HEAD GASKET WAS BLOWN, ALL BC THEY GAVE ME A FALSE DIAGOSTIC, I HAVE WITNESSES WHO ALSO TALKED TO THEM ON THE PHONE AND I PLAN TO SUE!!!
My vehicle worked when I picked it up. That's the only reason I give it three stars. The service sucks. I had an appointment on Wednesday to fix my truck, by Thursday they hadn't even pulled it into the garage. It was finished Friday afternoon. I payed for the service and when I asked where my truck was as the parking lot was filled with vehicles, I was told I'd just have to find it. Very unprofessional in my opinion. I'm glad it worked out so I don't ever have to take it back there again.
I would never have anything worked on at that place I took my son's car down there a simple transmission rebuild that cost him over $1,600 a month not even a month the transmission went out again then we took it back it took them almost a month to fix it I just filled the tank before he took it back and took them another three weeks to fix it got it out was not right had to take it back again he took it back 3 times and each time there was always something wrong with it the last time I got a little bit upset with him and they told me what don't bring it back so since then we've had to trade it in by another car I would never have them work on anything that I own trust me I've heard of several complaints on that place they need to go out of business and start all over again and if you get and have to leave your car there for about a month I guarantee they'll be using it to run for parts or whatever I know it happened to us so instead of taking this to court like I should have we just went down there and bought a different car and trade it in to a car dealer which cost my son to have car payments now I can see some things but this was no reason for it was nonsense and all it started out to be and all it basically was in the first place was reverse was more but it was worse when they got done with it then it really messed up they don't know what they're doing
We took my son Saturn at that transmission of g m. That was the worst transmission job we got soon as we got in home reverse went out of it again we took it back they had in another month wasted all his gas did he did have in it we got it back did it again we were told not to bring it back again okay well in the meantime the car went out again so he ended up have to trade it in and get him a new one never never never ever will I ever trust another mechanic after that especially in Pryor
