I wish I could give zero stars, GFL is the worst company ever. Seriously you’d be better off using ANY OTHER trash company, do not use them! Price increases, terminating services without warning & reasoning why, not picking up trash & not sending any invoices. I think the 2.4 stars on here speak for themselves this service is a joke.

This company doesn't even deserve one star, horrible service and RUDE people. I can't count the amount of times they have not taken our trash, and they stopped taking extra cans but same price. DO NOT USE THESE MISERABLE THIEVES!!

They don't pick up trash randomly, so you'll have backed up trash. If you call about it they'll just tell you they won't be out until the next week. Terrible service! Do not recommend at all.

They're supposed to pick up our trash every Thursday they started picking up on Wednesday periodically which was fine then on the 17th of April they picked it up on a Monday instead of Thursday and this is the first of March so two weeks and they have not picked it up yet I paid for my trash to get picked up weekly we have had really good luck with them until this whole incident started just spent 10 minutes on the phone trying to get ahold of somebody and couldn't get anybody to answer

My trash has beed sitting at my gate since Wednesday morning here it is Saturday. You charge us to pick it up every Wednesday and you dont show up this makes twice . If your not going to pick my trash on time . Need to look for another company. You don't even answer your phone

I love this company they go above and beyond for there customers. I have never had no problems and always pick up trash on scheduled day so glad I switched companys to this one.

This company regularly fails to pick up our trash. You can only report issues online with no option to speak to a human. They keep raising prices and are now charging us an extra fee for fuel. I guess I’m paying for the fuel it takes them to drive by my house without stopping.

My parents own a commercial property in Paoli. We've had our dumpster from Waste Disposal Service for about six months or so. We were happy with their service. Their staff responded to my emails in a timely manner and were very professional throughout the entire term when we were with them. They moved their services out of the Paoli area earlier this month and notified us in advance and refered us to another waste company. I am very satisfied with their service and would recommend them to others who are thinking about retaining their services.

Long story short- these people are self-centered, money hungry crooks. Do not get services from here. Wish I had read the reviews before I did! This place is a joke. We have lived here since April 2021. Never had an issue until January 2022. I called in asking about commercial services. I was given 3 different options/pricing. I told the woman that I needed to go over with my husband and I would get back with them. Enter snow blizzard lol. Their office was closed 2/2-2/4 (as was pretty much every other office). Come Monday 2/7, my trash was not picked up. I called in again to discuss commercial services, this time with my husband on the phone. The way they treated me because my bill was late for the very first time during a blizzard when they’re office was closed was shocking. Nobody had ever mentioned I could pay online. I thought WDS was just a small town local place. Anywho, the woman I spoke to this time couldn’t give me any pricing for commercial services, and told me someone from their commercial dept would contact me. I went ahead and paid my bill by phone, and asked for a bill credit for the week of 2/7, as we pay for services 3 months in advance and the services were not rendered. The woman refused and hung up on me. I tried calling back several times and the big bad office lady quit answering the phone. Fast forward to today 2/14 - my trash still has not been picked up. 2nd week in a row. I guess I’ve been blacklisted. I even stopped the actual trash guy to ask him why my trash wasn’t being picked up and he took down my name and number and said “I’ll find out”. We shall see. I’ll come back here to update once their office opens today, if they will answer the phone. Update- still no refund on the 2 weeks of no service. And anytime I call in to pay my bill and bring it up, I got hung up on my face. After they get the payment of course.

Let's start with it took them two weeks to deliver me a trash can. Their phone response is horrible, there is a message at the beginning of the call that ask you to stay on the line so you can hear their pickup days for holidays it never tells you. Once you get pass that half the time you'll have to leave a message that nevers get called back. Now their service is even worse, my trash pickup is on Mondays and if a holiday falls on it they'll pick up trash on Friday or Tuesday or next Monday. For the whole month of September they only picked up my trash once. When I called to ask about it (when someone finally answered) I get told "yes they did." and "did you have your trash out before 6am?" So when I respond with " no they didn't." and " I always have it out the night before." I get " they'll pick it up tomorrow" which never happens. They picked up on the first of October but the truck showed up about 5am. Now on their website it says they pick up on holidays and didn't on Columbus day but did come by the next day so I'll give them that. You can make payments on their website which is great but I don't know how good it works. At the moment trying to cancel their services and can not get a hold of anyone on the phone. ZERO STARS, HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Our service was cancelled without warning and without a reason of why... when asked why; we were given a lie? Our trash wasn’t picked up on time but maybe 4-5 times in all these months. Always paid on time. Was never ever late. Never had our trash just laying around, always had it out and early. My husband was told we’d get a refund for the inconvenience and still nothing? Never had so many issues with a trash company before. Do NOT recommend this place.

We forgot to put our trash cans out last week and our trash was piling up. I called the number on the side of the bins and Tad answered the phone. I explained my situation and he said that he would tell the driver about it and that I could leave a double load out that week and they would pick it up, no extra charge. Happily, and to my surprise, Tad himself came by the night I called, after his normal route, and picked up all of our trash. Tad was very understanding of our mistake and kind enough to work with me to get the situation remedied. Our country needs more businesses run by people like Tad, who value the customer’s experience and display humanity when they are in need. Thanks again!

Very VERY disappointed in the service today and the receptionist. I have been with this company for a number of years, always paying well before time for the service. They have consistently picked up our trash container anywhere from 11 am to 1 pm. each and every Thursday, unless a holiday or truck trouble. So, I have consistently put our trash container out between 9 am and 10 am. Today, out of the blue they decide to pick up trash at 8 am. I called about it and the unsympathetic receptionist told me I should have had the container out at the road by 6 am., even in spite of their consistent pick up times in the past. Now, I am stuck with a full trash container and I am not very happy!!!

We have been with this company for several years. They have never missed a pickup day, have always been super courteous on the phone, and are very respectful. I switched from a different company to this one, and am so glad I did. I have never had any problems at all with them.

They have the worst customer service experience I've ever dealt with.. after 2 quarters of them not putting it on autopay as was asked to do. I asked the lady to speak with a supervisor. She flat out said that wasnt going to happen! Then after me insisting on speaking to someone about the issue she gives me a # to call. I asked to will I ask for she said who ever answer.. then d was a non working number.. she had to of known this, because right after I called back and no one answered.. I found another service and will not recommend this one to my worse enemy!!!

Late on bill and got double punished for it. Not only did they not pick up trash when I was 4 days late on bill then charged a 10$ late fee. So you have for 1 week of service you don’t receive.

Horrible customer service. Rude, can't get their billing correct, rarely answers phone. Have taken our can 3 times even though we are on autobill, then charge for a can return fee even though we've called several times, and when you actually, finally get a rude person on the phone, they says it's fine, it's on their end...then 3 months later, we start all over again.

If I could give a lower rating I would. From billing to the driver that can’t stop driving irrational and ridiculously fast down our dirt road to the office staff that answer the phones who do nothing but lie to you. The company is very obviously going down hill fast.

We've been using their services for almost 14 years and have never had a complaint. Hauling garbage is probably a thankless job, but they have always been professional and courteous. I highly recommend their services.

Pretty disappointed overall. They do okay at picking up the trash I guess. This last month my bill was due on the 4th, and when paying my bills it slipped past me and ended up in my paid pile. I received a notice on the 12th that it was past due and a $10 late fee. Oops, looked at my bank, sure enough I made a mistake, immediately sent in the money with the late fee, it's on it's way. On the 16th when they picked up my trash they kept the can. Service cancelled. Okay strange, it's been barely 2 weeks and I just got the late fee, and I've also been a faithful customer for 5 years never late on my payment. No big deal I call them up, what's going on? Yeah we took your can, I said well check is in the mail, and I've been a faithful customer for 5 years and I only just got the late notice. The rude lady on the phone says, "Not my company, not my policy" and that's it. Silence. Okay well check is in the mail, I guess when you receive it you'll get me a new can and I'll look for a new service for when this payment is used up. No respect at all. The lady must be having a really bad day, all the more reason to let someone else answer the phone, I was just asking a simple question.

They say no company can have a monopoly yet in our small town that is all you get one choice so companies can treat you anyway they want and that is exactly what wds does. I pay for no service my trash hasnt been picked up in a month they say my gates closed pick up is at 6am so i leave my gate open the night before no pick up. Call they say gate closed I ask how they say truck came after 6 pm gate closed leave gate open no pick up call they say gate closed I tell you said 6 am they said no that's when they get to the yard not your house tbey pick up until midnight so open gate 630 am no pick up call no answer because he came at 6am so apparently they don't get to the yard at 6 am do they. I don't believe this company has any care about customers all they want is money if they don't pick you still have to pay the same amount no matter what even if it's their fault. Such a bad company and bad practice for a company. Update on my review wds came out just now and took my dumpster for bad review I will now go to Bibb and file complaint as well as State for retaliation

Their drivers are unsafe l drove truck for 12 years 13 Western States so it's very rare that I report a driver but I think everyone should be aware of their driver's actions When I called in today the lady that I spoke to could care less what their driver did and hung up on me while complaining about their driver I had one of their driver's stop before pulling out on to the road then started moving before I had a chance to go thru the intersection then stopped again If he had kept moving I would of Hit him about the fuel tank EVERYONE BEWARE OF THE UNSAFE DRIVER THE COMPANY COULD CARE LESS WHAT THEIR DRIVERS ARE DOING. BE SAFE AND AWARE around their trucks

Worst service I have ever expierenced. The other 1 and 2 star reviews have done a good job describing typical service from this company. The only other thing I’d like to add is the careless driving of their driver’s. I truly hope no one is ever injured by one of them. My only advice is to think twice before ever doing service with them.

I agree with the other people that gave a low rating. They don't even deserve 1 star. On 01/16/2018, I spoke with one of the office people. During the conversation this person was quite rude with me. I explained that I was aware that I was behind in payment since I had not sent a payment in December. I told her that both my husband and I are in our 60's, he's disabled, and also had a big surgery in December, which is why I missed the December payment. The response I got was rude and uncaring, and she made it clear that nothing I said mattered. Her lame explanation was that she had to pay her drivers, so I had to pay the bill. If paying your drivers depends solely on my $25.00 per month, then they must be in worse shape than me. At that point I knew this girl was not going to listen to anything else I said. Over the years they have missed pickup regularly and whenever I complained, they didn't care. Nor will they adjust the billing for the actual pick ups made. I should not have to pay for service I did not receive. I have been making payments through my bank for most of the last year or so. I schedule the payments and the bank sends you a check. After the above phone call, I scheduled a payment for the upcoming Friday for the payment she demanded. Now I discover that my trash bin has been removed with no notice. During the phone call she did not give a date the payment had to be made by. She only said, "this month." Well, it is still *this month*, the payment is scheduled to be made *this month*, but they have cut me off of my service. Being nasty and threatening is not the best way to treat your customers when things are tough. I realize that you are the only service available in this area, so we are at your mercy, but that does not give you the right to be so ugly to people. As my mama used to say, you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar. Well, this girl has a vinegar mouth and needs to apologize. Some day she will be old, God willing, and may find herself in tough times and bad health. How is she going to feel when some young person treats her like she did me? I truly wish there was another trash service in this area, but it seems I am stuck. If there was another service, they might have a lot fewer customers if this is how they treat everyone. By the way, Nicole Hellberg, who gave a 5 star rating, is the owner. She's just trying to up her ratings. She'll probably get more of her friends to give 5 stars too. I guess they only give good service to their friends. Cheaters in every sense of the word....

This company is excellent. Those of you posting negative reviews, I believe you are confusing WDS with WCA. I dumped WCA and went with WDS and haven't regretted it. Always on time, no broken trash containers, if I have a question all I have to do is call and I always have gotten top notch, friendly customer service.

Tried to call several time over two weeks to get trash service. The lady just kept saying I don't think we drive down that road let me check I'll call you back. Each time she didn't call me back now they can't give a reason why they can't drive down a perfectly good gravel road. I don't recommend them and I hope no one else uses them. Unfortunately there is no one else out here that has trash service.

After being a loyal customer for nearly 10 years, I was blatantly disregaurded by the company, and disrespected by the most arreogant and hateful person that I have ever encountered in a service industry. In the early days, they missed many pick ups due to weather and staffing. I accepted the human error and stayed as a customer, mostly because of a desire to contribute to a small company in my community. It seems that this company and its employees (friends and family) believe that they are now indispensable. This belief couldn't be further from the truth, as there are many far superior competitors in this area. Their owner made it very obvious that she didn't care to loose me as a customer. I assume she didn't understand how many more customers she would impact with that attitude, or she just doesn't care. Businesses in a service industry require a service mentality, and those who conduct business with an attitude of entitlement are destined to fail. I wouldn't do business with this company again if they paid me. I highly recommend that one find any other company for their trash service.

Very dissatisfied with the service I received from this company. Trash was picked up maybe every other week and when I called about it I was told I should have called them. I don't feel like I should have to call to remind you to do the service you are being paid for. I would have still stayed with the company if issues were resolved but the woman I spoke with was so rude I got pissed and just cancelled right then. I'm not a mean person due to being in sales/customer service which makes it all the more frustrating when I am treated like that. You get much farther with people when you are nice and pleasant.

They were good. However, this morning, they came to my house, dumped the trash on ground out of cans, then took cans away. Why? When I called they said it's because my road gets kinda slick when it's wet!!! They been coming for years, and my roads better now than its ever been. NEVER EVER LATE ON A PAYMENT, AND I'VE EVEN GIVEN THEIR GUYS A BONUS NEW AND THEN!! SHIFTY!! AND YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE THE DECENCY TO CALL ME AHEAD OF TIME AND LET ME KNOW YOUR DROPPING ME.. BAD BAD BUSINESS.. I WILL MAKE SURE WORD GETS OUT!!! Thanks for making an already tough time in my life harder.......as I've recently lost my mom, and everything stressful right now!!
