Scheduled a repair through insurance for my phone. Called at 530 to confirm they had the screen and they did it was in stock said I would schedule for the 6 time slot and was told ok. After driving 20 minutes in rush hour traffic i was told by the same person I talked to that the tech left at 5....wasted my time, and gas coming from Cleveland for nothing

Quick and happy experience replacing my 8 year old failed mower battery for a new one at my local Batteries Plus store in Macedonia Ohio. Ordered online, just a drop off of the old battery and pickup of the new. Fast friendly service. I even dropped off my three old batteries from my UPS units for recycling.

Terrible Service - Terrible manager - I ordered a battery and what was paid on-line was not available at the store. The employees promised a lot of things over the phone but when I personally went in the manager accused me of lying when two of her employees said the same thing over the phone. once the battery was replace the manager went inside to wash her hands (that's what they told me) and she never came out to give my receipt for the battery I purchased - I had to wait for over 4 min and the other employee said she is washing her hands and I saw she was in the back but never came out to give my receipt - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS - IF YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE WRONG HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE - SHE HAS NO CLUE WHAT SHE IS DOING - I WILL NEVER EVER AGAIN SHOP AT THIS STORE

I was able to order the battery I needed from the website. I received an email the next day telling me my order was ready. I drove down to the store which is local picked up the battery and left the cashier was very pleasant. The store has a great variety of batteries for different types of Equipment I will definitely keep them in mind if I need to go back for any more batteries

I purchased a top-of-the-line $300+ car battery. It failed under warranty. I took it back and it took 2 days fro them to test it. When the confirmed what I had told them (they were basically calling me a liar) they then told me it would be at least a week before they could replace the battery. They said they would call. After a week I had to call.

Brought in my ancient Tamagotchi and the guys in there did an excellent job helping me out with a battery. Took the plate off and made sure it still turned on. Very friendly, personable and professional. Definitely recommend!

BAIT/SWITCH REFUSAL OF SERVICE On June 23rd, I paid $266.00 for replacement key fob and programming for my 2019 Acura MDX that I was assured had remote start included. When this key fob arrived on July 28th, I saw it did not, and no one at the store was empowered to assist me. No one was able to put me in contact with anyone who could assist me. No one could/would give me the name of anyone who could assist me and no one returned my call. Only after disputing this $266.00 charge with my credit card company did someone reach out to me and explain they can get me the proper remote for an additional $43.00. I simply agreed. When I was called and informed this remote was in on 8/16/22, I made an, “appointment” to have the key fob programmed for today 8/18/22. When I arrived at the store, there were two representatives working and I was told, “it is too late in the day to program a key fob”. Then, when I explained, I had an “appointment”, one of them said, “I was under the impression, that was for tomorrow.” I said, “okay. I’ll come back tomorrow at the same time”. I was told, “No. That doesn’t work either.” I was then told, “You can try back Monday or Wednesday of next week and we might be able to take care of it then”. At this point, I am done. I actually paused writing this review to speak to the dispute department of my bank to give them an update on Batteries Plus Bulbs refusal of service today. After I am done pasting this review to Trust pilot and Facebook, I am going to pen a similar letter to the CEO or franchise head of batteries Plus Bulbs so they too are aware of how this particular store is being operated. Lastly, for the key fob and programming, I paid $266.00. The same key fob they gave me is sold on Amazon Prime for $50.00. The programming fee alone at Batteries Plus Bulbs is $69.99, so there is one hell of a mark up on that key fob. If you made it through this review, thank you for reading and I hope it influenced you to not patronize Batteries Plus Bulbs in Macedonia or at least to share this horror story next time you pass by it on route 82.

If one needs the types of things that Batteries Plus Bulbs stocks and right away, it is a great place. The trick is to know what the store stocks and what it does not. I was looking to replace the sealed lead acid battery in a Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) and BPB had what I needed and I was able to order and pick it up 20 minutes away from where I live. Price was a little more than I could have gotten elsewhere but I would have had to wait at least a week to receive. Paying 3 dollars more was well worth picking up the next day.

Once I scheduled the appointment on-line I couldn't make any changes. I had put in the incorrect type of phone and wanted to update it. The option to make changes should be added. Store handled everything quickly and easily. Thank you!

I received great service and good prices with 3 of the 4 specialty watch batteries I needed. No local store had them, so the only other way to get them was from Amazon, eBay, or walmart.com. Walmart's prices on them were about the same as Batteries Plus , but I'd have to wait about a week to get them through Walmart, where with you guys I had them in less than an hour! Thanks!

Stopped by with a picture of a battery I needed for my alarm system. This battery was an older model. Brandon was happy to help. He educated me and suggested a different brand. I was hesitant thinking he just wanted me to spend more. Glad l listened. Perfect fit, good price & great employees. Thanks Brandon. Highly recommend this place.

I took my brother's phone here because he cracked the screen. The young lady working there was pleasant and professional, with a nice sense of humor. She told me that the phone would be ready the same day. They appear to have every type of battery. They also have key fobs.

It was easy to schedule appointment. They replaced the battery in my phone in the exact amount of time quoted and at a very competitive price. The person who helped me was thorough and very personable. An update. AGAIN Batteries Plus took care of my phone - and I really thought it was a goner. EXTREMELY happy with their service again. And they open early.

Please don’t take your phone here to be fixed. I had my battery replaced and although the battery is fine, they didn’t use adhesive on the battery or the screen, and because of this the battery shakes around while the phone moves, and the screen isn’t fully secure. I don’t expect a water proof seal but I expect my phone to not have a shaky battery moving around and a screen that you can push up with a little pressure. You’re better off to do it yourself.

My Granddaughter was selling her Iphone and i purchased it from her. It had a cracked screen and super weak battery. I also found it would only get wifi if I was next to the router. So having had a good battery experience with Batteries + I decided to give them a try. New screen, Battery, and wifi repair. To my pleasant surprise The job got done. There was a hiccup but the Manager Grace handled it professionally. And has won my business and I will refer them to anyone. .

Would not shop here. Dad had a horrible experience with a battery for his motorcycle. The battery he was sold here wouldn't hold a charge. When he took it back the first time, they recharged it for him and it read 13.7. After he drove it 2 miles home, it read 13.02. The next day it read 12.8. They refuse to refund/exchange it.

I needed a battery replacement for my Google Pixel 1 and this store was recommended by AT&T. Scott, Ryan, and the rest of the staff were helpful with ordering a battery and setting up an appointment for replacement. They were honest about how difficult the replacement would be and that it will take some time. Couple hours later, my phone is working as good as new again.

Had lots of questions about differences between lithium ion and standard batteries for my motorcycle. Andrew answered everything I could throw at him. Told him I'd be there in about an hour to get the battery, and he threw it on a charger to top it off. Then assisted me in removing the old and installing the new one. Just absolutely great service. Can't get that on Amazon.

Ordering on-line and picking up in store is truly convenient - not to mention the 10% discount for ordering on line. Order was ready when I arrived and checkout was quick and easy. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door was on my way out with my purchase in less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend the Macedonia Batteries +!

Very pleasant and easy to deal with. When they did not have my camera battery in stock, they checked stock at other stores, and ordered from warehouse and had it available for me to pick up later the same week.

I ordered a riding mower battery online at night. By 9am the next morning, I had received an email stating that my order was ready for pickup. We went to the store, gave my name, and was given a receipt. We were out the door just that quick. It couldn't have gone any better.

So here's the deal. I choose them because they're the best deal I could find online. Order, pay, print receipt. In stock! Cool. So I stop by the store on my way home from work. And, surprise! I have to pay more - a core deposit. I said to the poor kids working there, I was not charged one on my order. They said, it mentions you MIGHT have to pay one. It does btw, but every other place in creation that charges a core deposit does it up front, not as a surprise, probably because a) they are honest with their customers, and if that makes you laugh then b), the Ohio Revised Code considers core deposits as PART OF THE SALES PRICE. So anyway the kids call another store and are told, yeah charge the deposit. So I paid it. I contact Batteries Plus website and am put in touch with the owner, Greg Davies (he also owns stores in Mayfield Hts and Akron). First he tells me I'm not the first customer with this complaint, and apologizes, but no mention of a refund. When I press the issue he gives me the runaround, how it's standard policy and when I mention the Ohio law says: "I'm certain this was vetted out by our folks at BP Corp. In any event, provide with the specific Ohio Revise Code you think covers your position and I'll run it past my legal counsel. If he concurs I'll issue you a check." Awesome. After pointing out that his lawyers google must be broken I supply him with the correct code Section 5739.01(H)(1)(a). I am then told it will take 7-10 days. All through this he's basically saying that he'll issue a refund IF his (BPs) lawyers agree with me. I point out that as the owner, he certainly has the power to issue a small refund, and that this conversation is going to make him look bad upon review and rightly so. Then and only then do I receive a refund. With no other mention of lawyers btw. Buyer beware.
