Stopped in late on a Saturday for a part. They did not have it but Edmund said he would have in for me in the morning. I came back out at noon on Sunday. Edmund was there and went to grab it from their deliveries section. It was not there. My thought was that I would just go somewhere else. Before I could even show any displeasure he said he would have it in 30 minutes. I went to the grocery store and took my time thinking it would be more than 30 minutes, but right at 30 minutes Edmund was calling to say he had it. He took it out of the box to make sure it matched up exactly. As he was ringing it up he said he was going to knock some money off for the hassle. Part was $24 and he made it $20. Them messing up the delivery was mildly frustrating, but Edmund’s response to it made the difference in customer satisfaction.
Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but I’ve never experienced such terrible service at an auto parts store. The kid behind the counter (I think his name was Odon) was the laziest person. Not helpful at all, even after I asked him a few questions about a simple auto part. Just scanned the product, tapped on the payment screen, and that was it. No words exchanged.
The other guy was helpful but it’s just frustrating when someone is so visibly fed up with their job that they don’t even try.
I recently needed help in diagnosing and engine light on my 2019 RAM. I was delighted with the professional attitude and experience I received from Lillian(a very smart young lady). In a short time we discovered I had a weak battery. Lillian quickly showed me my battery choices and Bill (a man with a wealth of experience). After a quick conversation with Lillian, Bill and Joseph (Store Manager) on CCA and the difference between all the batteries I made my purchase. Joseph (who was watching his professionals work with me) immediately asked me if I'd like him to install the new battery. And the story gets better from here.
My truck is heavily electronic (seats, suspension, navigation, radio, SiriusXM, driving parameters and more) and Joseph quickly smiled and told me that he had a way of keeping power on the truck while changing my battery. He grabbed his tools and battery and out we went to the parking lot on a rainy day. Without complaint and with a great and pleasant attitude I was on my way quickly without any data losses on my truck.
Joseph, Lillian and Bill really made my purchase and experience with the O'Reilly's Macedonia store a true pleasure. This is a clean, fun and professional store to do business with. And these 3 professionals are great representatives to work with. Thank you for having great hiring standards. I look forward to doing business with O'Reilly's again.
I am writing to brag about the outstanding service that I received at the Macedonia, OH location. My battery died and after going three different stores I was finally able to get a new battery installed by my guardian angel - Nicholas. I started my journey at the two warehouse stores and one does not install batteries and the other stated that I needed to come back the next day. The store was an auto parts competitor that was refused to install because my vehicle has a fuse box on top of the battery. I finally called O'Reilly to ensure that they had a battery for my vehicle in stock. The first person that assisted me was inexperienced but Nicholas jumped in and assisted him. After almost three hours of despair, Nicholas recommended a good battery for my vehicle and assured me that he could install it. Prior to installing, Nicholas tested my starter and alternator and assured me that the issue was caused by the battery. He then gathered his tools, installed my battery and tested the battery, alternator and starter again for 'peace of mind'. In this day and age good customer service is hard to come but Nicholas exceeded my expectations. He is is an extraordinary employee and deserves to be commended. Thank you Nicholas.
Had a great service experience this morning, purchasing a new battery for my 76 MG Midget. Very pleasant, helpful, and quick service. Was in and out in 15 minutes. My sincere Thanks!
Friendly guys that aren’t afraid to look for what you need. Guy at the front counter searched for my battery and didn’t even roll his eyes or huff and puff about it. Nice to see some normal people still work in rental stores.
All O'Reilly's stock a nice selection of parts. Not much different from the other big chains in most ways, htough they do have a couple things I like. One is their Microguard Select oil filters, which I believe are rebranded Wix at a discounted price. Some other prices stink (motor oil, in particular, like at other chain parts stores).
This location is convenient for me and the store is tidy. However, I've had a few really cringey, awkward encounters with one of guys there. The other day, I walked in and he said hello from somewhere out of sight, and I echoed that. As I walked around, he said hello a few more times, and goodbye a few times, trailing off and sort of singing. Perhaps he didn't hear me and couldn't be bothered to come out form wherever he was, so he may have though no one was there while I walked around for a few minutes - not good awareness, service or security. At the counter, he didn't offer to help more or see if I needed anything else, but did comment awkwardly on my shirt. I tried to brush it off but he pressed me with more questions about it until I let my annoyance show and finally told him, "I don't know man, it's just a shirt to me, okay?" He then acted as if I were the one being rude. It was unprofessional, and I just wanted to buy some damn oil filters, so I'll probably go elsewhere from now on. There's another O'Reilly that's actually closer to home, and a few other parts stores, so I'm done dealing with this weirdo anymore. Three stars is being kind, considering I've been uncomfortable there multiple times ; the store is okay but that one guy always creeps me out, in a major way.
Bill was a big help reading the codes on my truck when the check engine light was on and jumping my truck with a jump box when it wouldn't start. Even though it was really busy he came out and checked on me in between customers, excellent customer service!
Didnt give it a 5 star cuz no parts store has everything ya need .

These guys were so helpful. I wasn't able to get any of their names but, they'll know who they were. They helped me get everything I needed when I needed an ignition coil. I ended up buying a magnet stick and some other stuff. I was having a bad day and they made it better and for that I am greatful ??.
We bought a case of O'Reilly's trucks diecast trucks we already had pre-purchased them and one of their employees didn't see the note on it and went through it and got the ones that we was looking for so needless to say basically they robbed us
Came in on 6/9 around 3:30 PM. Employees speaking to each other in the back. NO one says hello, or offers if I need any help (which I did). Read the backs of multiple bottles and figured out what I needed. Stood at counter for about 4 minutes, no one to ring me out. I walked out... Awful service. I will go to one of the other 4 auto stores on the street.
I needed and asked for help. All they did was pointed me in the right direction. The store had no other customers and the two salesmen did nothing but chat with each other. I couldn't find the screws I was looking for so I left. But I told the gentlemen thanks for the help that they didn't give me! First time visiting this store and the LAST!! There's another auto parts store a few blocks down. I'll continue to go there.
If they don’t have it at their store it’s usually at their warehouse 10 minutes up the road I am usually there once or twice a week I run a tree company and these guys are great with keeping my trucks and cars ok the road
Clean store. Friendly, knowledgeable employees. Has a variety of parts and merchandise. Will order parts of needed. Located on main strip across from strip mall. Convenient location close to other stores.

Hands down best customer service by far. The store manager know his products and his store. They do everything they can to be the best with customer service and not like over your shoulders helpy but you need it I got it just wanna browse do you

Was charged for 4 lug nuts i didn't receive by jay he said he had 6 in store and ordered 1 box of 10 but said he gave me 20 ? You do the math i do not recommend this location
Came in for a box of fuses. There was only 2 people in the store and it took me about 30 minutes to be seen. Dude was moving literally at a snails pace. If you drive to the closest autoparts store even if it was about 20 minutes away, you'd still be saving time.
Needed a belt in a pinch. They had it, and wow, a military discount. I never knew, and wouldn't have, but the clerk saw my Military ID and applied the savings. Pretty cool
The gentlemen working on 12/13/19 evening, were possibly the least helpful store employees I have ever encountered. I bought a thermostat housing and had an issue with the O-ring. Rather than sell us the O-ring out of the second thermostat they had in stock and order a replacement, they insisted we buy the whole housing again because we needed the car fixed that evening or I wasn't getting home. They attempted to sell me two gaskets (once successfully, the second not) that didn't even go to this part. My friend, who was helping repair the vehicle had a battery issue and asked to borrow a multimeter to check his alternator, and was denied because "they aren't a service garage, and can't take tools outside the building", yet when an attractive young lady walked in, you better believe they ran right outside with a code tester to help her out. If I could give you zero stars I would.
Both Employees were awesome truly helped us out when my friend didn't even know that he had it actual V6 verse a 4 cylinder called around everywhere could not find out why no had a Alternator for a 4 Cylinder. we are just going to walk out the door all sitting in my car in the male employee came out got me and told me that he was wrong and it is truly a v6. The lady there was super cute and very full of awesome information that made me feel dumb lol I love this shop
Bought a part here. Came back next day around noon to have my engine light cleared with their OBD (yes I know I can disconnect the battery). Walked in, nobody was there, went to the counter and stood around. Somebody was in back on the phone (and not with a customer), who proceeded to ignore me. When another customer came in he finally came out front and when I asked for an OBD check he rudely said no I'm the only one here can't leave the store. My car was five feet from the door, and an OBD check takes literally 15 seconds. Customer service much?
I went in due to failing rear tail light/blinker for my 2011 Chevy Equinox. Dale the sales associate was not only friendly and kind, he even installed it for me as well as discussed what I should do in the near future to avoid future problems. Clearly Dale is a well respected and appreciated guy...while he was helping me several other customers were happy to see him. He truly went the extra mile and made my day...all for a $7.00 purchase. I'm usually skeptical of these kind of purchases, but O'Reilly's in Macedonia has a new customer for life. Thank you Dale!!!
Great experience! I bought a blinker/brake bulb and had good intentions of replacing it myself. Turns out I could not so I went back to the store where Rich was kind enough to install. I drive a basic Ford Focus and this bulb replacement was anything but basic! Rich worked in 24 degree weather for at least 20-30 minutes working very hard to change my bulb. He was so nice and very patient. He had to be freezing but not once complained! I highly recommend this O'Riley's location!
Called to ask if they had a tool to rent for a job i was doing but wasnt 100% sure which tool i needed.. But matt didnt even give me the chance to ask because he hung up on me..i said three words and click. Ill just stick to autozone from now on
