Extremely professional! I felt bad, because my insurance provider had given them the wrong coordinates to my location. They were very understanding and incredibly nice.
I was stranded after backing into a driveway at a bad angle while delivering for Amazon. Gibby just happened to be traveling me a few miles behind me, saw my dilemma, put on his hazard lights and towed me out — all in less than 5 minutes. He did it as a GOOD Samaritan and a more grateful recipient you could not find!!! If all of Madison Motors’ employees are the same caliber as Gibby, this is a truly exceptional company.
I broke down on the turnpike and this company was incredibly helpful and kind. Everyone from the woman who answered my initial call….she was so sweet and reassuring, to the tow truck driver….extremely kind and understanding….to everyone who worked on my vehicle. I’m very grateful that they are 24/hr shop and they were willing to work on my van.
This is an awesome company. Not only did they tow my broke down van they also got it into their shop and got it fixed in just a couple hours on a Saturday and got my driver back on the road. they go above and beyond to help anyone in need I would highly recommend this company.
My semi trailer had an air leak right in front of their shop I tried to get in their yard but couldn't within minutes a mechanic show up made a quick fix I visit shops all over and these guys are some of the best I have came across thanks again

I am writing this review in regards to a towing experience we had with Madison Motor Towing in Fremont Oh. After a vehicle breakdown at the first rest area on Ohio Turnpike. Doug of Madison Motor Towing went out of his way to set us up in an area tow the ve hill to be repaired and also available lodging if we had to spent the nite. The tow truck arrived in acceptable time and was quick and efficient. Tony the tow truck driver was very professional and helped to alleviate the stress of the ordeal. If ever stuck on the Ohio Turnpike again within their towing jurisdiction I would definitely call them again. Job well down.

Steve with Go Ground, a Fedex Contractor. I’ve used these guys on the turnpike more than a half dozen times over the years. They respond quickly. Their guys are knowledgeable, and work quick to get you back on the road. I used them again last night for a tire blowout. Not once have they ever price gouged. It’s nice to know there are still some honest shops out there that won’t take advantage of a truckers unfortunate situation. Keep up the great work and thanks again.
Wow! Yesterday on our way to a concert we had a blow out on the turnpike. Happened around 6pm and the concert was at 8pm, gave them a call and the gentleman on the phone was very quick to radio out and put an emphasis on getting us to our concert. Driver told us to hop into his truck on arrival because we didn’t have time to waste and needed to get us back on the road! He took me to Walmart and I bought a new tire, however it was now 7pm and all of the tire shops had closed.
Well now, the man gets on the radio and tells the driver to bring my car back to the shop and they’ll fix my tire. Mind you all they had to do was tow me somewhere and call it a day. They don’t normally offer tire work. News to me, I left my lug key at a tire shop in Zanesville. They replaced my lug nuts, and worked diligently as a team to get me back on the road. When I tell you I have never seen service like this, I mean it. I can’t explain how grateful I am for the kindness, hard work, and urgency.

John and Daniel were LIFE savers on Friday/Saturday early morning 2:30am 5/31/25! My teenager daughter was broke down in Northwood, OH and needed to get 151 miles back to Michigan, out of all the towing companies, Madison Motor Service was the only towing company that would pick this tow up and bring my daughter back too, and not only that, they understood the importance of getting my daughter home. After a terrible experience with our towing insurance Madison Motor came to the rescue. They promptly quoted a price for a long tow to Toledo. Josh arrived quickly and after examining the car realized the grinding was not wheel bearings as we thought but a part of the heat shield had fallen down. On March 26th, I was in a horrific car accident on I-80 in Ohio. After the accident a tow service came to haul away my vehicle and also transported me from the scene of the accident. I was rather frightened after the event and a pleasant conversation from Dan West the gentleman who drove the tow truck, put my fears at ease. After such a disturbing incident, it was comforting to have Dan and the team at Madison Motors make it easy for me to gather my wits, obtain my possessions, and work with my insurance company on my totaled vehicle. I was ready to give up and get towed! Young lady talked me out of it and said she is sending out her best mechanic. 30 minutes later Matt showed up! This young man is a damn MECHANIC!!💯 Listened to what I said he went under the truck for a few and fixed EVERYTHING!! Even the 2 codes I thought I had to get parts for!! Cleaned up the last mistakes from previous techs and had me on my way!! On the road you take what you can get! But by far Matt was one of the best mechanics I’ve had a pleasure to work with!! Madison Motor Service. The best heavy duty Towing and Road Service company that I’ve ever experienced in my 18 years of Trucking. They were extremely professional on time and very family oriented on how they do things. Not only they prick me up very promptly But also Transported My Carhauler Fully loaded with new vehicles. Extremely careful with cargo And with my equipment. Took my truck to BNB Truck repair and took me to the nearest hotel. In the process of towing my vehicle, I got out of the truck to help on a sharp turn. In the process of that, I lost my wallet when I got out of the truck. When we realize this, and we got to the location to drop off the truck Dan Look me in my eyes and said I’m sending my guys to that area to look for the wallet and to make sure we retrieve that wallet and get it back over to you. With all my credit cards debit card fuel card license all my documents. In this wallet it was picked up by Dans Crew got it over to Dan. And then personally came and delivered it over to me at the hotel where I was staying. I couldn’t thank him enough because not only they are an incredible company on how they do business, but they are incredibly honest and dedicated to their customers. I woke up with it 7 degrees outside on the turnpike this morning to a frozen/broken air dryer and since it’s so cold everyone is having issues. We tried for hours to get ahold of multiple mechanics until I saw one of their guys working on another truck. He was more than willing to help me get it bypassed so I could get my load and get home to replace the dryer. Amazing people can’t thank them enough
I stopped at this shop for a minor repair, and I was blown away by the exceptional service. The entire staff was an absolute delight—kind, professional, and so easy to work with. I contacted Madison Motor Service when I was stranded in a service plaza along I80, alone and 90 miles from home with a dead alternator. Josh showed up in a timely manner, very very courteous and helpful. While I was trying to figure out where to tow it and what to do next, he told me that he could tow me the rest of the way home! We chatted the entire way and Josh is an extremely nice guy and mentioned that one of the reasons he likes to be in this business is to help people.
When we finally got to my house, I gave him a big hug for helping me avert a crisis lol! Highly recommended! Thanks for being my hero Josh, much appreciated!!!!
I am a 74 yo woman crossing the Northern US alone. I broke an axle in Toledo and called for a tow truck but was told Madison Motor Service in Fremont was the only Company that could handle my 30’ trailer. I called and Dan and he and his very capable young son came to my rescue! After getting my rig to their shop they recommended a hotel for me with a 10% discount and also recommended a ferry ride to Put-in-Bay the next day while I waited for my insurance company. - what fun!
Because my TT is a 2024, there were no parts available - not a problem for Madison, they had 2 axles fabricated for me and 2 weeks later they called me said they got the parts and would have it repaired within the next 2 hours (Thank you Tim!). I got to make the 4 hr trip to Louisville, Ky to visit my sister while I waited for the parts. Every single one of the fellows that work in this shop are very friendly and extremely helpful and SO nice and I will forever be grateful that I was lucky enough to be put into contact with this Company and these amazing men. I honestly don’t think you’ll find a better group!!

These guys are the best I have ever dealt with. I broke down on rt 80 in Ohio late on a Friday afternoon around 4 pm. I was hauling a camper with my dually truck for work. They knew my vehicle was my businesss. The tow truck arrived within 30 minutes of my call. The mechanic stayed late to see what was wrong and what would be needed in the way of parts. He went out of his way to come in on his Saturday off to get the parts and get me on the road again. The operation manager called hotels for me so I could get a discount. One of their drivers drove me to the hotel Friday night. I was getting ready to check out of my hotel an 11am Saturday I called Madison to see if they were able to get the parts. Not only did the get the parts but they were almost done the repair. He then told me instead of taking Uber back to their shop they sent a driver to pick me up. I was done and on the road by 1PM on Saturday. Les than 24 hours. If more companies took care of their customers like Madison did for me you would have a lot less unhappy people. Thank you Madison for such great service.
Got a flat tire on Christmas Eve with 5 hours left in my drive. They were able to tow me to the shop and get a replacement tire on. Excellent service that saved the day! 10/10 recommend
We broke down on the Ohio turnpike the evening after Thanksgiving and these guys were all super friendly and helpful. They came out, tried their best to get us started and then gave us a tow to a garage and a hotel when we needed it. More than anything, though, everyone we spoke to on the phone or in person was just kind and friendly - exactly what you need when you're dealing with an unexpected breakdown!

Had called AAA for a tow and I’m glad I received Madison Motors Service. My Truck was stranded for 18 hours after my driver break caliper came completely off on the turnpike. Although I was dealing with the stress of the situation and unfortunate circumstances, I left after my truck was towed to a shop 30 miles away with 100% less stress than I had. I appreciated the quick response to the tow and my thanks and gratitude definitely goes out to the driver “Will”! Great human! My customer experience with him was what makes a business NOT JUST ANY business. Quick, Smooth, and Considerate. I’d recommend their services any day. Thanks Everyone!
At nearly 1 am I found myself in a stressful situation with my car stranded on the side of the Ohio Turnpike. They turned this experience around for me. From the get-go, Kelly was outstanding, she’s an amazing dispatcher! She was extremely responsive and assured me that help would arrive in less than 45 minutes—and it did!
When JR arrived, he was nothing short of amazing. He jumped right into action, was incredibly knowledgeable, and made the whole process smooth. He got me home and my car safely to the Kia dealership. Throughout the ordeal, both Kelly and JR made me feel comfortable and at ease, significantly lowering my anxiety. (I hate car issues 😅)

During a breakdown, Doug at Madison Motor Services was able to get us very competitive quotes for different towing options, and ultimately get us set up with a 300-mile tow on a flatbed truck within a few hours. The phone staff was friendly and communicated with us openly about timing and delays while we were waiting for a pickup from the local Tireman mechanic shop.
Our driver, Jason, was professional, respectful, responsive, and easy to work with. His friendly demeanor, skill, and confidence turned a stressful and expensive rescue into a relatively relaxing and pleasant experience.
Towing services are never cheap, but if you need help in their area, you should at least get a quote from Madison Motor Services to see if they are right for you. (They are also equipped for Semi truck rescues and towing, if that applies to you.)
Talk about a blessing. When my car ran out of gas on the way to the station, Brad and the tow driver, Jen, saved my life. Jen passed me on the highway and looped back around to help is out. She came with gas and a heart of gold.When we asked Brad how much we owed, jJen and Brad refused payment. This act of kindness brought me to tears.
