I had a Marinette fully uluminun boat. Fully cleaned full of clean aluminum. I call them for a price and was told they would have to charge me to take it !! I took it to Elliot scaping in rising sun Ohio and got 2800 dollars for it. Progressive iron and metal are a joke and thrives!! Highly recommend not go there!!!!
We called a price on 316 stainless marine grade. They quoted us 74 cents a pound. We know for a fact it was 316 because it came off of boats it was marine grade. They even came out with a little gun scanning it. And never said anything other than telling their employees to separate some of it. We were told to dump it because it was in a dump trailer at a certain spot. Weighed back out and only got 28 cents a pounds out of it. We would not recommend coming here. Total amount we received was $500 dollars out of $1500 worth of stainless Lairs and Cheats.
I will drive twice as far not to go to this place. The weight is wrong, the pay out low....Got next to nothing for a truck load. I will throw it out before I go here again
Horrible business and even worse owner to deal with. Prices are super low and they have the scales set up to rip people off, if you try to bring it to they're attention the owner (fat younger looking long haired guy) will come out of his office and try to make up an excuse on why it doesnt weight correct. If you question it he will get belligerent and tell you not to come back. I wish I could give negative stars because this establishment is absolute trash!
The BBB needs to go calibrate their scales. Had a vehicle for scrap weighed on a calibrated scale, their scale showed almost 1500lbs lighter than the calibrated weight. Scammer alert.
Had a load i took to Burns ($7) that was half the size of the one i brought here. Only got $10. So they are BIG cheats. NEVER WILL I SCRAP HERE AGAIN. AND NO ONE ELSE SHOULD EITHER IF THEY WANT TO GET A FAIR PRICE.
