Saturday 2-7-26 I was hauling some beds in the back of my 1998 Dodge Ram, when my transmission went out. I was broke down on a hill at a traffic light in the middle of 146 right before the SUBWAY near Zane State. It was a bad place to be broke down.
I was about to call a Towing Service when a man in a Tow truck stopped beside me and asked if I needed a tow. It was perfect timing. I said yes. He quickly hooked a cable to the front of my truck and towed me to safety in the parking lot of the SUBWAY restaurant. He introduced himself as AJ and asked me what he could do to help. I needed a good transmission mechanic, AJ knew a transmission shop and made a call to make the arrangements to get me some help. Then AJ offered to tow my truck to his place of business to store it for the weekend, then he would tow it to the transmission shop during the week. I asked where a U-Hall store was to get my beds out of the bed of my truck, and AJ offered to give me a lift to the U-Hall store. AJ went above and beyond the call of duty to help me out. He was and Angel on the street that offered a hand when I was in trouble. The man did everything he could to help me. That was the best tow service I ever had. When it was time to pay, AJ offered a very reasonable rate to get me squared away. I would have expected more of a charge, but AJ explained that he was more interested in getting me help. I will not forget Dennis & Sons Towing, I will not forget AJ... I am going to recommend their towing service to everyone I know. They will be in my phone and they will be used for all my towing needs. Thanks AJ!
I called at midnight when it was -1°F and he was there within an hour. He was very respectful and knew exactly how to load my vehicle without causing any more damage ! He was also able to unload it exactly where I wanted it and is extremely affordable !!!
So I have personally used these Gentalman a few times myself, amd our shop uses them on the requalar! We always recommend them to anyone needing a tow or looking for a great reliable honest company! Aj will go above and beyond for anyone! Probably one of the purest hearts ive ever seen! Fast, more than reliable, and very honest! if you need your car rescued from a ditch on short notice for an affordable price, these are your guys. got my 350z stuck in my driveway on a friday night. these guys came on a saturday morning in half an hour from my call & got her out in 3 minutes all for $75. my car was even resting against another vehicle & they got it done without a scratch on my z. Dennis and Sons Towing will be forever our go to if we need any roadside assistance. They are a 5++⭐️ from the initial call, to scheduling, to pick up, to dropping off the vehicle. I can’t say enough. They even called to find out exactly where to leave the car. Then even waited for us to make sure it’s exactly where it should be. Dennis and sons came to our rescue when we broke down on Hwy 70 and were headed to Kansas for a family emergency. These folks graciously took us to a local mechanic that had us up and running in just a few short hours after we broke down. The rates were more than reasonable and the folks were very friendly and helpful to get us back on the road as quickly as possible. Very caring and helpful people.

I live in Granville and was visiting a work property today in zanesville ohio. My cars shifter linkage decided it had enough but I was unaware that this was the issue. As my car would not start because it technically was not in park. Although my shifter itself said it was. Anyway to the point! I called Dennis and sons for a tow. They came very quickly. To my rescue and after a moment of talking the driver said I bet it’s the shift linkage they fail all the time he had me pop the hood and sure enough that’s what it was. He said I can tow you still or I can shift his into drive and u can make it home. So that’s what we did he could have easily took me for extra money for the tow but he was polite honest and helped me get home. This company went above and beyond. And I’m very satisfied with their professionalism and hospitality.

We had our car towed from Zanesville to Cambridge today. This company was the most reasonably priced place we could find in the area. Their customer service is top tier. Extremely friendly and willing to help us out in a heartbeat. It only took them 20 minutes to come to us! We are incredibly grateful for their service. I would recommend this company to EVERYONE! I’m a delivery driver and while trying to turn around in a customer’s driveway, I found myself stuck with at least one of my front tires not touching the ground. After getting nowhere with my insurance’s roadside assistance program, because none of the contracted towing places were open at 11pm, I found Dennis and Son’s on Google. They were also highly recommended by my manager. My sister called for me and got an estimate while I dealt with getting properly clocked out at work. When the tow truck driver got there, he was very nice and respectful, very professional and I’m glad he knew what he was doing, because I hadn’t a clue how I was going to get out. He was able to pull me out with great ease, and I was on my way in no time. I also want to say that I greatly appreciate him for being willing to accept the amount of cash I had on me, even though it was less than what he typically charges. I’m even more grateful because, although it was everything I had made in tips that night, it didn’t break the bank or mess with any of my other financial obligations. Dennis and Sons Towing are fantastic! We became stranded on an exit ramp, four hours from our home in Indiana, when the transmission in our SUV decided to stop working, and with another two hours to our destination.
So, we did a google search and started calling around. The first one we called said 3 hour wait. The second one we called said 2 hour wait. Now it’s starting to get late, no gas stations in view, and the transmission is completely shot!
The third and last one we called was Dennis and Sons Towing. Our call was greeted by a friendly person, we gave them our location and other necessary info and they were there within 30-45 minutes!
They were knowledgeable, priced us fairly, and went above and beyond what we expected. We would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them highly.
these guys are fantastic! we used them twice: one to tow my bronco to dutro’s when the water pump failed. fast and professional! the second time was today when we needed a tow our truck from chillicothe to zanesville. they gave us a great quote and was here in no time! will definitely use again!
