Never credited me my $50 deposit. Charged $75 per can delivery, delivered a month late. Charging another $150 for me to cancel. Haven't had them but a month, and between delivery, pickup, and whatever bs charges they want $409 You can get a dumpster cheaper, with rumpkee.

We have worked with several account managers during our contract time with Republic, and Sarah is by far the best and TOP NOTCH. We had to change our contract to every 2 weeks vs. every 4 weeks for a short time, and then switch back... and it was a smooth transition. She was so friendly and accommodating to our needs. It was quick and swift, on the phone, which was very appreciative. Thanks Sarah Hanbury

This company is a scam, you pay for a simple service, trash collection. So the guys come out, all we ask is that they pick up the trash. I’m not sure if they’re confused or just lazy, but they fail at this task regularly without any explanation or compensation. Before you subscribe with them examine your other options first. They should only be used as a last resort

They don't pick up my trash????? I pay for this service and they just don't empty my can. I don't get it. Then, good luck trying to find a local human to speak with. I got people in Arizona and Kentucky that could not help me. The office is in Elyria but I can't get a person in Ohio. This is pure BS

So let me get this straight… You’re a company that collects trash and bulk items, yet at the very same time, you don’t collect trash. How do you not collect bags of trash that aren’t in a bin? YOUR JOB IS TO COLLECT TRASH. WE ARE OFFERING TO PAY FOR YOUR TRASH COLLECTING SERVICE AND YOU CANT DO IT? No pun intended, THIS COMPANY IS TRASH.

Dawn in logistics is highly inappropriate and acts better than everyone else. As do all the employees and supervisors. Highly unprofessional. Would not recommend this business to anyone in ELYRIA . Do better Dawn please .

We use Republic Services for construction and multi-family needs. Our account manager Angela Schuster has been great. She always gets back to us the same day and makes it possible to get a pick-up the next day. Angela has made the day to day operations very smooth for us.

We have used the company for many years and everyone especially Allison has been great to work with I am very pleased! I originally wrote this review 3 yrs ago. I want to commend my new account rep Angela Schuster she goes above and beyond to provide great customer service!!! If I could give Angela Schuster 10 stars I would!!!!!

Republic Services are great my Account manager Angela Schuster is the best if I have a problem I call her she gets back to me fast and always helps me resolve any issues that occurs and always accommodate me when I need extra dumpster. She always polite, and cheerful great customer service she gets a 5 star rating from us at the loft.

ZERO stars if I could. Lisa black doesn’t call people back, nor answer the phone, finding it hard to believe she does anything, she is never in the office when she is supposed to be either. Chuck doesn’t call back either. Safety needs to updated for drivers about the high line poles OVER 14 ft that their truck got stuck in and driver tried to lift up and down to loosen wires only to compromise the pole to the point a new one was needed. Driver took an extendable broom to try and get wires out. Pretty sure that’s not correct. Then they claim the system is down “all the time” to input claims yet no one is aware of the issues at the insurance offices. Literally trash. I feel unsafe from their practices and then the next week they almost did it again!!!! The wires and pole were compromised so badly the utility put a new pole in only after my main wires were loosened by the driver trying to get out of the wires and rubbing against my house and sparking! My house could have burnt down and I could have died if my neighbor didn’t wake me up and the fire department came to the rescue! They STILL have not met with city to review safety protocols!!!! Thank goodness our city solid waste contract is up in less than. A year!!!! Can’t wait to release the videos/pictures of their unsafe practices and negligence!!!

Our interactions with Angela Schuster; whether in person, email, or on the phone, have been met with professionalism and efficiency. She goes above and beyond, we are thankful for her dedication to customer service.

I broke down some cardboard boxes, I put them in another cardboard box, I placed it next to my recycling container neatly because it wouldn't fit in the container. I also had a trashbag that wouldn't fit in the trash can. This is allowable and have done it in the past. They didn't pick it up and the box was destroyed when they picked up my recycling bin. They didn't pick up the mess, they didn't dispose of the boxes, they just kept on moving with my recycling littering the streets. Ok, so I put all the cardboard together, I reconstruct the box & call Republic to have them come pick it up. The 1st guy said he was transferring me & didn't, it went to a survey. I called back & the woman set up a time & day for them to come pick it up. She said that it was to late in the day for them to pick it up that day. Which was OK. They didn't come to pick it up when we scheduled. I called & got more b.s. & a reschedule for the day before my trash day. Kind of defeats the point. Just do your job in the 1st place. Why is it OK to do this? If I don't do my job, I'm held accountable. And just as a decent human being I wouldn't leave that mess. What if I was elderly and didn't have anyone to clean up Republic's mess? They don't care. And they won't fix their mistakes.

If Republic Services hits your mailbox don’t bother filing a claim because even with Ring footage, Chuck will call you a liar ~ which he actually did when I spoke to him on the phone and tell you there’s no proof they hit it. A $500 million dollar company refused to replace a $50 mailbox.

Have used Republic for 6 years now with extremely favorable service!!!!! That's why I always go back to use their services. And my representative, Angela Shuster, has been top notch and helps me on many occasions with my account - whether it be billing or additional empties/deliveries/quotes! Republic has gotten GREEDY! Comparing invoices with my neighbors has determined their rates vary depending on what rep you got when you called. Buyer be aware!!! My neighbors are paying $88-$118/qtr. My bill is $159.60. They'll also lie about recycling being mandatory in your municipality. That's a LIE. When you cancel they're so money hungry, they charge you to pick up their own cans $50 each!!! Pick another provider!!!

We had a compactor go down all of a sudden and I called Deana our account manager. She had to hand us over to our new account manager Angela Schuster. Angela got with Dawn Coultrip in Ops and they were able to get us an Open Top with in a couple of hours! And this was going into a Holiday Weekend! Incredible Service! What a team.

We have used Republic at our property for many years. They come on time and on schedule each week. Holly is my representative, and she is amazing at keeping in touch and scheduling additional services. I just met with Holly and Angela yesterday, and they did a great job making sure that I am happy with their services. Wade ( I think) is our bulk pick up technician, and he is so attentive and quick at removing larger garbage from my property. Very happy with the service and highly recommend.

Angela Schuster was such a huge help to me today with our invoice. I was having a bad day and feeling pretty frustrated but she was able to solve my issues quickly with just 1 call! She was very professional but very personable at the same time. I wish there was a way to get her every time I call!

We use this service at Green Circle Growers. We recently signed up to have Republic Services handle our Recycling, as well as waste removal. So far, things are going well. One thing we were not happy about, was the fact that the first pick-up was scheduled for a week after we received our collection bins. Since the bins had to be assembled and dispersed amongst 4 greenhouse plants (3 locations each), we really were not ready for the 1st collection of the large, outdoor, closed containers when they came- and we were charged for this service. We would have liked to have had the 1st collection pushed out a few more weeks to really have our Recycling program effectively in place first. Sam Rivera is our account manager. She is very friendly and professional. She is easy to reach out to and always provides a timely response, sending extra copies of our invoices, when necessary, and providing us with Recycling collection containers & user-friendly signs for collections, describing Recycling guidelines. I put in a request for more signs, and she delivered them the next day! We appreciate your professionalism, Sam, and thank you so much for your time!
