Went here for the first time ever today. Of course when you do scrap full time, youre always wondering what yards will rip you off and what ones are top knotch especially if its a scrap yard you have never been to. Normally I take my loads to dr metals on taylor street on the other side of elyria and have been for quite awhile. I looked up other yards in the area. I saw this one and brought my next load in here. Very clean yard. Well organized. The staff are very polite. They are tied with dr metals as far as how much they pay, however the service and manner in the emplpyees here are just a few hairs ahead. They even offer bottled water when they pay you if its a hot day and you need something to drink. Never been to a scrap yard that offers that. I told them before I pulled away Id be coming back. Thats a promise.

I went here today for the very first time ever in my life recycling anything. Had a project at my building where we removed a boiler heater system. I took all the copper pipes and fin tubes to recycle and sell. I have to say the professionalism was outstanding. The man running the drive through drop off was very kind and patient he shared a wealth of information and helped me understand the process , different values on copper and other material it was very educational. I would highly emphasized highly recommend taking your scrap metal to this yard it was run like a smooth machine with smart people working there I'll be back !!!!

This is the best place for recycling/scrap. Rates are great, the service is awesome, the people working are friendly and helpful and you don't feel gross going here! And they have a few snacks...

I have been coming since PSC metals but the place is even better now with SA buying out PSC. The guys are friendly as can be (even help you unload), place is clean. First class recycling, can’t call them a scrap yard. They deserve much better than that title. Great place!

Greg the new manager has completely turned the entire facility around. The yard is now clean and organized I no longer have to worry about flat tires, every employee I interacted with was kind, courteous, and more then willing to help. I would recommend Psc metals to anyone.

All the old time employees quited because they didn't get a raise in many years. The new employees took 45 mins for a 10 mins job and they scammed me out of copper price after I have been going there for 20 years. Go to the one on Abbe road.

The guys here all know their $#it so Don't try to be shady fellas !! Best prices on scrap and aluminum, and old cars if you can get them there with title and proof of ownership!!! Great place!! Keep up the good work!!

I trust this place. They give you a printed receipt with weights and prices on it. People are friendly.

Great place. Have been going here since my grandfather was scrapping in the 90s and they did all there business out of a tiny building. Seen this place come a long way. Always treated me like family. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

They are not paying anything for catalytic converters. They payed me 10 dollars for what should have been a 90 dollar converter. I won't be scrapping there anymore..

My husband owns American Auto Sales and first time he visited this establishment, he found staff freindly and very knowledgeable would recommend them.

This was my first time going here and there was a white blonde hair lady that was very unprofessional. She looked at me asked what I wanted I responded she couldn’t hear me than got annoyed. Than the rest of the time she was very short with me telling me directions. The other staff was very helpful I would avoid the blonde lady if you could. First impression is everything and she needs to work on her people skills very unprofessional

Watch the scales ? and take pics. It fluctuated 20lbs while we were on it and of course they used the lower weight and screwed us out of that 20lbs. Go to Blue Star. They pay better and theres no question about honesty.

The staff (Bill) is very knowledgeable and very kind, also the cashier is very kind. I will and do recommend PSC to people.

They are very friendly here and one of the cleanest yards I have been to... I only bring my scrap metal here.

They are supposed to close at noon on Saturdays, got there at 11:44 am and they had the gates closed already. They should post their hours on here and go by them.

This is a no bullshit kind of place. They have never given me grief about anything I've taken to them and they always give top dollar. Highly recommended.
