Worst pick up driver ever in our zone! Lazy, lazy, leaves a mess every dumpster he dumps. He dont care about the look of the community he works in and also solicits for his grass cutting business as he drives the garbage truck to customers house and then gives them a sales pitch to let his company cut there grass! Been going on for years!! ( hazard ky)

I haven’t seen any other Trash Company as good as Rumpke You can set your clock by their promptness I live around Salyersville Ky and the best group of Office workers and Route Drivers

I’ve had this service with Rumpke for almost 8 years and while the service is the most expensive it’s ever been, almost all my experiences have been well. The only times they haven’t picked up the trash was during snow storms or for several weeks after a large flood. My only bad experiences were on a few occasions a bag would tear as they were throwing it into the truck and they would leave it on the ground and I’d have to pick it up or when a driver had a proclivity to say uncomfortable things about how I looked and I spent almost 6 months avoiding being outside when my trash was picked up. Overall, Rumpke has been very reliable with their service, fairly priced, and my complaints are few.

Overall adequate service. Just wish they would close the lids to the trash cans when they got the trash so they wouldn't get rained in. Also the the new fuel charge that's been added to the bills is a bit unnecessary but again it is what it is. What can ya do?

Do not work with Rumpke. They continue to adjust and take advantage of customers even against contract. I’ve reach out to my sales rep 4 times over months and I get no response ever. Don’t “waste” your time. Just look at the reviews enough said

These folks bought out my local reliable trash provider. They never come and I have to call them every week. My trash sits out for 2 to 3 days each week. Completely unreliable but sure want paid on time. If you can get a different company, do it!

They miss my trash at least every other week, when I reach out to customers service, they insist it must be me not putting my cans out, even though my cans sit there all week. Persistence did not pay off, they just started ignoring me. Do not recommend them at all. UPDATE: 2 MORE PHONE CALLS AND 3 EMAILS, STILL NOT PICKING UP TRASH. RELIABITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE MY A$#!

Rumpke has always been easy to work with whether you are late on a bill or needing extra pickup for bags. The workers are very polite and cheerful. They are really decent folk!

Our Rumpke driver is always very safety minded and fast. He does a great job. But other drivers need to use caution when approaching the Rumpke trucks. Please don't put them at risk because you are impatient.

Put my account on snowbird hold and three months later revived a bill for full service. Called to dispute and they required payment so I paid and promptly canceled my service. They were determined to right fight until the end and not worth my oxygen so we are done. Found a local, friendly business to switch to and all is good.

Several times this paste year Rumpke has just decided to skip several locations with no warning or concern for their customers. Just skip a week and pick it up the next. That is not what we pay for. No help when you call they just tell you they'll pick it up the next day then you have to keep calling until they finally pick it up or better yet they'll ask if you had your trash out in time . Nothing better than trying to blame it on the customer because they can't seem to keep up with their services.

They were good for about 10 years, then forgot where I lived for the past month and a half . I called at least 3 times to make them aware that my trash has not been picked up (making sure my bill was paid, it was. Trash cans at the same place they have been for a decade, they were and I even added bright colored tape to be seen in the dark which was never a problem before). I got fed up and canceled my trash pickup, it took 5 seconds to cancel, this let's me know it's easier disregard you as a customer than to embrace you as one. Disappointed and sad . Choose local businesses. My neighbor a few days ago... this was not the first time they had to put trash out like this.

I was with this company for 15 years. But within the last year it has went downhill and we are looking for other companies. I set my trash out the night before and they would often miss my trash. When I'd call in they would say my trash wasn't down there. I would explain that yes it was and they would say someone would come the next day and get it. No one would come for the entire week. This also happened when we had a couch that needed hauled off. We called a week ahead and asked if they would take sectionals. They said they did but it would be an extra $30 charge. We said okay. We wrapped the individual pieces thoroughly in plastic as the requested and carried it down our large driveway. They did not get it for 3 weeks. First they said it wasn't down there, then they said bad weather, finally they said it wasn't completely wrapped. Each time they gave us a date of the next day they'd be here. Finally 3 weeks later they picked up HALF of it. We called in they said they picked it all up. Once again, they said they would Come get it the next day. This went on 2 further weeks until they said it was too heavy and they weren't taking it. Yet they still charged us the $30. If they were honest with us we would've understood. But telling us for weeks someone would be here the next day, blaming it on us,etc was our breaking point.

They say they take pride in their business but I don't see how. My wife and I moved into our new place in Marietta and set up service with Rumpke. They missed the first week (no biggie, we were a new client) but then they went on to tell us for 5 days in row that they would pick up trash today and never showed up. After us calling and expressing our frustration, they THEN said it would be picked up by this Wednesday. We'll Wednesday came and went and we now have 5 bags of trash sitting in our yard because our dumpster is full from them not showing up the first several weeks.

This is the worst service I have Ever HAD EVER. I have Had rumpke for only 3 months i get a bill for overage of 130 for the 3 months and i have only have a pick up once. I have had to call in everyweek to find out why Im not serviced which then takes another 2 maybe 3 weeks before they will actually pick up. Then I am charged for overage. Im done rumpke is a joke. Not worth $65

I've called Rumpke three times in the past 2 weeks because they've not picked up our trash since the week before Thanksgiving. They keep saying that someone will come that day and they don't. We are now overrun with full trash cans that have been sitting at the road this whole time. If the trash isn't picked up this week I will end our service with them.

I have been a Rumpke customer for about 4 months. They picked up my trash regularly the first month, then missed my weekly pickup day 7 weeks in a row. After multiple emails and phone calls, my trash was eventually collected about 4 times in that period. Then they picked it up on the normal day. I thought they had the issue figured out. Now they’ve missed the last 2 weeks again. 3 emails and phone calls later, my trash still sits hoping to be collected. It shouldn’t take so much effort contacting a company to get the service they say they can offer.

Rumpke Waste & Recycling has been a great home trash pick-up and has picked-up many items to recycle for me. Very prompt on returning answers to my emails and explaining processes to pick up big items. The price is reasonable. Thank you for being a business that cares about the people they serve.

Rumpke has been reliable to pick up our trash week after week, in all kinds of weather. They handle our trash can gently, including the elastic strap across the lid to prevent raccoon banquets. We do our part by packing all trash in quality plastic bags for easy transfer to the truck.

We are satisfied with Rumpke trash removal services. They are dependable and the price seems to be comparable to other services locally. The employees that we encounter are courteous, the communication is good, and we really appreciate being able to have our bill on autopay so we never have to even think about it.

Terrible customer service. Do not use this company. I called Rumpke and scheduled a large item pick up. After several days and several phone calls to check on the status of my request, the item is still sitting in our yard. The representatives I have spoken to kept telling me that my large item will be picked up as soon as possible. What is as soon as possible? It's been 6 days since I called to schedule the pick up. I wrapped the item securely with bag but it has rained every other day, so if you can just imagine the condition of the item sitting outside of our house. I left a message to the supervisor, Roseanne(spelling), to complain and hoped she can do something about the issue, but she never returned my call; very unprofessional. The representatives were not helpful. No one explained to me what's causing the delay. I was repeatedly told that my item will be picked up as soon as possible and as soon as they can. How reassuring is that?

We have had a business account with Rumpke since October. Our last trash pickup was January 8th. We did not have pickup the rest of January, February, or halfway through March. It is also now April 20th and there has been no pickup for April! We own an event venue so you can imagine the pile of trash that has accumulated. We have called multiple times and have achieved nothing. We spoke with someone about receiving a credit due to not having the trash picked up and have not received one to date. My garage is filled with trash. The customer service agents have been friendly, but it does not appear we are getting anywhere with this! The last time they did not pickup the notes stated “trash not put out” according to the customer service agent. It’s a dumpster, it does not move!

Very poor customer service. They have repeatedly skipped picking up our trash. When contacted, they lie and make claims like our bags weren't out. We have a trash bin, not cans. The trash is taken to it daily. They claim their GPS shows them on our road, for pick up. We have trail cams, to catch people dumping animals back our secluded road. Or whatever else you can imagine. They're not on our cams, at all. Very poor service. And the lying to us is just insulting. We will be looking for other garbage removal services. I do not recommend this company.

They have now not picked up my trash for over a week. Did not pickup on the 2 “scheduled normal pickup day” every time I call they guarantee it will be picked up. It’s still sitting at the bottom of the driveway. Granted we did have snow/ice this past week but plenty of days the roads have been clear. Don’t keep promising my trash will be picked up, if it’s not going to be followed through with. Unreliable service for a arm and a leg!

I've only been using Rumpke for a few months but they are great. I live right on the side of the street but I forgot to put my garbage on the curb. They didn't have to but they were kind enough to walk up and empty my can anyways. May not sound like much but they did not have to walk the extra 6 feet because I forgot. Thank you so much.

Our trash has only been picked up once in the last month. The guy who picks up my recyclables told me that my regular trash pick up driver has a "weak stomach" so he doesn't like picking up my trash. We use containers that can be mechanically lifted by the truck without even opening the lid. I have been told that this driver's behavior is against company policy but he still did not pick my trash up today. Rumpke is a fraud!!!! I have requested that the attorney general investigate.
