A friend of mine had to have her car towed here a day before she left for a missions trip out of the country. She expressed in speaking with the staff, they were easy to work with and so kind. While she was out of the country, many people who care about her and support her decided to try and raise the funds to help ease this burden. I had to call the shop for her regarding her car and to get some information. They were so kind and helpful to me. I had informed them about the secret funds being raised. When my friend returned home, we informed her of what had been raised. The shop called and texted me as they were aware of the secret we were working on! 5 stars for amazing customer service and following up on a well kept secret! Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Kenny and Monroeville transmission! They were so kind and helpful. I bought A high mileage warranty when I bought my vehicle which covered most of the work. But Kenny took care of everything so that I didn’t have to. It was absolutely amazing! I hope I don’t have transmission issues anytime soon, but next time I do, I am definitely going back to Monroeville transmission. Thank you, Kenny!

This place is awsome I had spoke with kenny about my truck and he told me if I was willing to make the hour drive he would take it on a drive and tell me if I was having a problem with my transmission and I figured I would give it a shot he was very polite when my wife and I got there and he was very knowledgeable he drove the truck for about 10 minutes took it back to his shop and made a simple adjustment and had me back on my way he will not fix a transmission that does not need fixed he is a good honest guy who runs a good honest business I will be back if I ever have any transmission needs I would highly recommend this place

I highly recommend Monroeville Transmission. I had them do a pre-check inspection on a 7 year old vehicle (Saturn Vue), where the CARFAX had indicated some work had been done on the transmission. Kenny and his team gave it a clean bill of health. I tried to pay but Kenny refused. Fast forward nine years and I’ve put over 120,000 miles on that vehicle and still use it every day to take my dogs to the local park. I live locally and know many of my friends who deal with Kenny and the thing we all appreciate is he doesn’t want to do work just to do work. He is honest, fare and reliable. I often see Kenny driving random cars because he personally tests the work of his team and doesn’t half-ass, take shortcuts, or do unnecessary work. If you have a transmission related issue I would definitely let Kenny and his team get their hands, ears and computers on it before you waste money on a car that won’t be worth the cost of future repairs.

I brought my car here thinking I had a transmission problem. He did the diagnostic tests and found that there was not a transmission problem. He did not charge me and he recommended a place I could take my car (they were also extremely helpful and fixed it at a very affordable cost). I may not have needed his repair services but he helped me so much! I highly recommend this shop if you have transmission problems.

What major car dealer they have my transfer case checked out they came back told me had to be replaced $4500 and a week to take care of it. Stop by Monroeville transmission. They took one look at it fix cable clean the rest from the shifter rod and was good to go, thank you for saving me a lot of time and money. Highly recommended to everybody.

He's a good guy, I'm sure his heart is in the right place...BUT it takes a bigger person to know when you are out of your wheelhouse. My transmission was recommended a full rebuild...when it didn't need it necessarily. It's a classic, she's 63 years old...I feel that he just wasn't knowledgeable enough to get the job done.

Wanted to thank Ken & his technicians for doing a fine job of rebuilding my 2017 Chevy Traverse 6 speed transmission which was slipping on upshift between 2 and 3rd gears. It was barely perceptible (but I noticed it) and was concerned about pulling my 17' boat to Florida. Ken did a real thorough job of test driving and he too noticed the lazy shift. Monroeville Transmission did a good job of getting the transmission rebuilt in time for me to stay on schedule for my arrival to our second home in Englewood Florida. I'm real happy the transmission has been shifting perfectly and I've had no issues. I'd recommend having this transmission change fluid at 30,000 miles especially if they are towning! My error in not knowing that (a few years ago we were changing trans fluid at 100,000, but not anymore!) cost me $4100. However it's money well spent as my Traverse is otherwise in fine shape. Hey Ken, thanks for your good work, you've treated. me fairly and you've done a good job! I'll see you in May and you can service the transmission as you see fit. Great experience with Ken and his people at Monroeville Transmission and Clutch! Had a worn cable connection to a lever that had been replaced/repaired ten years ago with the shop. They determined it would make to sense to recreate the connection, instead of using a $450 part on our older truck. Price of that fix was nil! And they returned our car to us within 48 hours of pick up. Thanks for the unbelievable service and integrity. Highly recommend this business.

Unbelievable! I have never experienced service like this. After over 20 years of traveling in the military with many instances of vehicle repairs, this company strikes me as the most professional, skilled, and thorough I have ever dealt with. Search no further for vehicle repairs!

My son is in the Army and was in NC at the time his transmission issues started. He was due to transfer to Europe. The quotes he was getting were through the roof as is common near military bases. I broke down on the 13 and got my van towed to Monroe transmission on the 14. The onset and his team helped out so much it was incredible. Not only did they find us a rental vehicle they drove us to the dealer that was thirty minutes away and waited until we had the rental in our hands. This type of customer service is unheard of and me and my wife are so great full. We did make it to our next destination (13 hours away).

Kenny and his crew were excellent to work with. They did a full transmission build/rebuild on my 1986 f250. From start to finish Kenny was upfront, honest and professional. He called me multiple times a week to keep me updated on their progress. They finished the work on schedule and on budget. Kenny went above and beyond doing research to be able to set up this custom build exactly how I wanted it and absolutely nailed it! His crew of technicians are also very thorough and take pride in what they do, one even noticed a loose nut on my pitman arm which could definitely be a safety issue and tightened it up for me. I would recommend monroeville transmission to anyone!

Kenny is probably the nicest person I’ve done business with. Very polite and professional. My transmission so went out on my truck and everyone I talked to said take to go monroeville transmission. It’s nice knowing there’s still people you can do business on a handshake and someone’s word! I doubt I’ll be back for vehicle I just had done but they’ll have my business on any other transmission problems!

Working with Kenny was absolutely fantastic - he was as pleasant and supportive as many of the other reviewers have attested. Our car broke down while we were on a cross country trip and we had to leave it there for a couple weeks - he diagnosed the issue quickly, helped coordinate the repairs (was responsive and polite to my many calls!), and pointed me to additional resources as needed. And the repair costs were very reasonable, as he could have charged us "out-of-towners" a lot more! If you're ever stranded with car trouble in OH, Kenny and Monroeville Transmission is the place to go. :-)
