The people that work there are very unprofessional and rude. They need to learn how to handle customer service and treat customers with respect. Brian the manager has no authority over his staff and the two ladies that work upfront as customer service staff should not be allowed to take care of customer service issues. Valarie is very unprofessionals, rude and disrespectful individual. She should be fired immediately. I took my business elsewhere I will never use them for anything in the future and I don’t recommend this place to anyone. Awful treatment, awful Management awful staff

Gerber collision was horrible with getting my car done properly... painting with the dent obviously and didn’t aligned piece well. The worst thing was frame up and accused us for the thing that didn’t happen (accused us had another accident after we picked up the car in end of July, just three weeks now). I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.... I can provide all the pictures to Gerber headquarters if Gerber would like to improve service.

Gerber collision was horrible with getting my car done properly... Brain is a very unpleasant person to speak with doesn't like to listen but, always wants to over talk you... Gerber collision was responsible for my rental car the second time cause my car wasn't done correct the first time but, decided they didn't want to pay so I was charged for it and they never took accountability for what they did... i have my papers that states you were responsible for the rental Gerber collision... I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.... In reference to the owner response... The only way to fix the issue is to take full responsibility for the the payment send me back my money enterprise rental took from me that was y'all responsibility to pay... work on getting Brain together with his confrontational behavior...

I left a review on car wise, but I cannot say enough how amazing this shop was from start to finish on the mustang. The staff at the front are an amazing group and Pete was also and well and always keeping me up to date. The customer service was better than mulitple types of businesses I've been to recently!! Just that alone was number 1. I like how you can follow along with the repair process as well and it was very cool how they texted you from carwise once the started repairs. They did a wonderful job and everyone was great!! Take care guys!!

I just left Gerber Auto Body and glass on Mayfield Rd and I have never dealt with such wonderful people from the manager Brian to Lori the receptionist and I don’t remember the rest of their names, but they were wonderful to me. Very accommodating and knowledgeable explained everything to me. Nothing was left unsaid , or left unfinished, I would totally recommend them if you have any automotive work on your car thank you, Brian And your crew you are one in 1 million seriously I’ve never dealt with such nice people in my life.. Every once in a while you find a great organization with great people who go out of their way to make happy customers. This is true of the people at Gerber Collision. I had the pleasure to work with Trevor who handled the insurance claim to make sure I was 100% happy with the repair when I picked up my beautiful Range Rover today. Great work Trevor. If I ever have body work done in the future this is where I will bring the car

My car was there for two weeks for front end work. It wasn’t ready on the day I was told that it would be. Through the 2 weeks time they did not update or communicate with me. The only way I found out any updates was when I called them. When my car was ready for me to pick it up my floor mats were taken up, things inside my car wasn’t there, my bracket around my back license plate was missing. And some of my things that were inside my car was just thrown into the trunk. when I called up there to speak with someone they didn’t answer or kept saying someone will call me back and never did. I had an horrible experience and will not return and doesn’t recommend anyone to go there.

Stopped by unannounced. Val and Brooke at front desk immediately made me feel welcome and relaxed. I knew I needed paint less scratch repair, and buffing. The estimator Trevor arranged scratches and buffing on the spot at no charge! They referred me to mobile paint-less repair service Dent Patrol, who happened to be in area. They said he could do the dent removal at much lower cost. Honesty! Having it done right now. If I ever get in real accident , I will trust these folks!

I wish I could give these guys 10/5. They were amazing. I crashed my car on the way to Cleveland. Despite being booked up, they squeezed me in, repaired it so that I could open the driver-side door - FOR FREE, then quoted me $150 for a new mirror and found a way to do it for less and save me money.

My insurance company recommended Gerber after my accident. They did a great job, handled my rental car & called every Tuesday & Thursday with updates. Valerie’s at the front desk & the guys who handled the repair were professional, honest & pleasant. Car looks like new.

Process was straightforward and staff kept me updated and was courteous. Rubbing compound left after process was cleaned up quickly. Minor inconvenience of door lock not plugged in all the way (slipped out after process was done)rectified the next business day.

The estimator (jay) The team at gerber collision did a phenomenal job on my tail gate to my truck. The gate had body dents and scratches as well as a completely different paint. They matched the paint and corrected all the dents. You wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. He also worked on my fathers which had the same issues fix. 10/10 will continue to do business with them!

EXCELLENT! I was in town visiting family and got into a minor collision (dented front bumper). The GM knew the parts would take too long and was honest about not being able to help me immediately so that I could travel back home. Instead he did something amazing....he took the car to the repair guys and they pushed out the dent so that I could drive it home safely. I was stunned...in 15 minutes or less, I was able to drive my car and ride safely. He also didn't charge me...he saw the challenge and HELPED me instead. I am still shocked because this was my first experience at an auto body shop....the customer service is A1 and solving my issue in 15 minutes was impressive. They turned an annoying situation into a problem solved! Greatly appreciative!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Everyone was super accommodating....I also should mention when I pulled up they already had a rental car ready for me to take so that they could work on the car and I would have a vehicle to drive immediately. True customer service at its finest.

Disgusted with work done. They did cheaply as possible repairs because they work for insurance companies. Paint job is horrible (orange peel) Door should of been replaced, now the door is nothing but Bondo on a brand new vehicle! My car was hit in front fender and door passenger side. I would rate this place a big fat zero if I could.

The customer service at this location is excellent. They kept me informed every step of the way and did a beautiful job repairing my car. Mr. Pope was extremely knowledgeable about every detail and really made me feel like my car was in good hands. Even though I am a Westsider, I would return here again in a second if I ever need their service again.

*Update: I was contacted immediately by Jay to come in and they will do whatever is needed to relieve my concerns over any internal damage to my car . I highly appreciate the fast response & the offer. I guess a case of miscommunication . As a result I have upped my rating. Thank You! *Original post: My Honda Element was hit & my insurance company recommended Gerber. The facility was attractive & clean. The receptionist was especially personable. The wait was short for a serviceman to come out to check my car. However, once it was learned that my vehicle didn't have any physical damage, the interest & helpfulness dropped. I explained that there may be internal damage & my driver's side door pops when opening, & I hear a rattle. He responded he could give me an 'alignment', pop the black molding off the door & pull it out a little so it wouldn't rub. I said no the the alignment as I felt it was a plecebo, & OK to straighten out the door a little at the closing point. One of the little plastic screws fell off when he removed the rubber siding. Seems like if no physical damage showing, & they can't make any money, bye bye. I would not go to them again.

The repair is amazing Steve and Jonas did a phenomenal job on my car. They used original oem parts and had them paint matched. The work that was performed was done a few days before the original date. I will definitely come back and have them work on my car again.

I worked with Jack, Sierra and Jay. They were all absolutely incredible to work with. They were kind, patient, did an excellent job communicating with me through the entire process. We ran into a few snags along the way and they were exceptionally helpful. They make sure to take their time and really make sure I understood what was happening,what type of work they were doing, as well as what warranty I would receive and who I could talk to of I had questions. I visited other body shops in the area that refused to do the work if it wasn't being covered by insurance, but Gerber had competitive pricing and was very helpful in that part of the process as well. I would highly recommend them and I won't take my vehicles anywhere else!

Hands down best customer service I've had in quite some time. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and fast! The insurance company literally could not keep up with how fast they work. Also great workmanship. Attention to detail was on point. My car came back way cleaner than I left it. Paint job was great also. Definitely recommend these guys.

They did an excellent job. Even came in alot lower than the estimate. Of course it was thru insurance. And they said they could do it cheaper than my 250 deductable.. Very courteous and excellent service. I would definitely recommend them again.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would... TL;DR -- Had drivers side control arm replaced. New control arm made knocking/squeaking noises. Pointed this out as soon as I picked my car up and was told it was normal. Now 2 years later my Ford dealer cannot align my car because the new control arm is loose (but somehow the old control arm is still fine?) I'll preface this by saying that my initial repair was over 2 years ago by the time I'm posting this and the shop was previously Suburban Collision, but I believe they were bought by Gerber or whatever series of events happened that lead it to be what it is now. Anyway, Gerber definitely has the records of the repair, so for the sake of this review I'm considering them the same. Just over 2 years ago now, I had to take my car there as suggested by my insurance provider, Geico, as a certified location. I hit a nasty pothole on these wonderful Ohio roads which lead to a series of events culminating in 2 blown tires and a busted drivers side control arm. Everything seemed to go fine at the time. The repair took just as long as they told me, but when I went to pick it up... there was a weird noise that wasn't previously there. I took my car home the first day and immediately brought it back after work the next day because there was some obnoxious knocking and squeaking coming from the new control arm area. I even had a tech take the care for a spin around the block and was told "this is just a normal sound" but as I'm sure most people reading this know that a normal car doesn't make sounds worth noting... but this one did. So as I'm not a mechanic, I take this as a reasonable reply and continue on about my life driving this car that knocks every time I hit a bump. Now we're 2 years down the road and it's time to replace some worn tires and get an alignment at my dealership... but suddenly I'm told that they can't align my tires because my "drivers side control arm is loose." What? How is that possible? It's less than 2 years old and I was told it was fine. I had my dealership techs take the car for a spin and toss it up on the rack to check it out. I explained all of this to them and just asked that they verify what the noise is and where it's coming from. Low and behold the sound that I reported to Suburban Collision (Gerber) at the time of repair is exactly what is preventing my car from being aligned. The Ford dealership calls Gerber who informs them that it has been over 2 years since the repair so it is not warrantied... again despite me having mentioned this EXACT THING at the time of the repair and being told it was perfectly normal.

I've been here twice now - once for an accident covered by insurance and once for something that didn't quite make sense with my deductible. Both times the experience was smooth as can be. Everyone on staff is responsive, polite, and knowledgeable. The first time, there was a hiccup due to a small insurance company mistake. They sorted it out immediately. The work itself was on point, and the price was extremely reasonable. I won't go anywhere else and would recommend this place to any friend.

Worst experience and my repairs took forever or should I say are still taking forever. I was promised my car at the beginning of November then it was right before Thanksgiving then it was the Monday after Thanksgiving and now it's this Wednesday. I haven't had my car in over a month and a half and they're still not done! What's worse is they don't return your calls and lie about the progress that they've made. I'm beyond frustrated since I don't have my normal vehicle and have been driving a rental since my accident. I also feel they have a lack of knowledge as we were told that they were surprised that my car had an axillary frame and continue to say it was more involved than what they thought and required more research. Now I'm scared that I'm going to get back repairs that weren't complete because they didn't know what they were doing. Once I get my car back, I'm taking it to another repair shop to double check that they did everything correctly. Go somewhere else and don't let your insurance company steer you to this place. It seems like they get kickbacks from the insurance company for making you go there.
