Called four times to schedule a pickup. Over and over again told the same thing. They'll come get it. Called today and was told "they didn't see it." It's been a month. I've called four times. How can you not see the items I scheduled for pickup. Also, Everytime I call they seem to have the wrong items I called to have picked up. Absolutely and wildly incompetent. Scheduled yet another pickup. Wish BH would utilize a different service.
Recycling service failed to take my small cardboard boxes on Corbin 8/8. They take them every week but drove right by the boxes today. Called customer service and was promised the truck would be back at the end of the day to pick up the boxes. Of course they didn’t and I was lied to. Typical poorly managed company/service who could care less about their paying customers.
Roll off dumpster drivers are unsafe. One driving East on Graham road in Stow, cut off a a car and was then driving 45mph in a 35mph. This was June 27th 2025 at 8:45 a.m.
Absolutely terrible service! Frequently miss trash or recycle pick up. Sometimes only take half of what you have at the curb. Been waiting 72 hours for a return call for them to take the other can that they didn't take. They sure do hire only but the best that's forsure haha what a joke. Scum by far the worst collection service we have ever had
I am very disappointed. I have a loveseat sitting on my tree lawn for almost two weeks. I have it wrapped properly. They did not take it on garbage pickup day, and I have called repeatedly since then. They assure me that a driver has the order and will pick it up. Nope.
They have missed my trash pickup at my home twice in the past 3 months. Expect me to hold my trash for the following week. The second time this happened my trash pick up is on Friday they told me they would get it Monday then Tuesday and they told me Wednesday still no pick up. I talked with a supervisor by the name of Mike He had told me 2 occasions that my trash should be picked up and still was never picked up. The worst customer service.
On Friday my dumpster was only half dumped. Called that morning to have it re dumped that the following week we could use it as normal.
Never heard back from anyone so I called the following Wednesday. I was told it was packed in there too tight and to not do that again. News to me- don’t put heavy items in there.
I asked if that’s normal to not get a call back and not hear what they could do…. The phone call went dead and she hung up on me. Never got a call back either and it has been 2 hours.
I now have extra garbage sitting around from this work week. Terrible service. Hung up on. Services not rendered. Professional!
Great place with fair prices and professional staff. I went there three times and the wait times were almost non existent. Quick in and out, that’s what helps us make money, and complete projects quicker. Will use again when we have projects in the areas they serve.
As a business we don’t have much waste, we asked to be “on call” and Rumpke was very helpful and tailored their service to our needs. This solution has ensured that the container is accessible by their staff, and saves us from multiple, needles service.
I have tried another garbage service. Rumpke easily outperforms them. They are easy to contact and they respond to your situation. Good customer service. They have never missed a pickup.
Rumpke Pickup Drivers are great! They are considerate and take pride in their work...We appreciate the continued service in all kinds of weather! Not a job that is easy to do in Ohio !!!! ;-)
This is a great company. The folks are friendly & responsive. The website, however, is as intuitive as Chinese math. I have yet to be able to pay my bill online.
I wished they would come to Wellington, Ohio. We don’t get the same service, and it is x2 the price (bulk pickup is only x1 monthly there).
In addition, no bag service is available for single or seniors.
The Driver picked up my Rumpke can, then grabbed my Black Yard Waste plastic container. He used the hydraulic claws to pick it up, and doing so, he cracked my can.
Our city used to use...I won't say the company name, but ends in "EPUBLIC" and they did not want to take anything. Yard waste? You'd better cut it up the size of toothpicks. Have had no problems with RUMPKE, and when (what seemed like) a tornado took two cans to "GOD KNOWS WHERE" they quickly responded and replaced them. I can almost guarantee "EPUBLIC" wouldn't have done anything except try to charge us and obfuscate. Additionally, when my city chose to use RUMPKE, the other company piled up THOUSANDS of their (many times) filled containers in a public park for WEEKS where they dumped into the storm sewers. RUMPKE is family owned so I like that too...
Rumpke does a great job of picking up all of our weekly refuse. They pick up all of the bulk items every week as well. They do a great job of keeping the area clean when they pick up the cans.
Anytime you have a complaint , customer service is very professional. They always send out reminders to people who forget that after a holiday your trash will be picked up the following day of your scheduled pick up. We have had only one minor instance with one of the drivers and it was immediately corrected. Thank you for all the good service we are receiving.
We have used Rumpke for over a decade now and have been nothing but pleased with the services they provide. The young man who drives our route is kind, hard-working & does his job really well! Rumpke should be very thankful to have him as an employee. My experience has always been that Rumpke goes above and beyond to make sure our waste removal needs are met. Thank you!
I have had Rumpke Waste removal for just over a year, and am very satisfied with their service. They're very reliable. Their office personnel are always there to help or answer questions and special requests. Bulk item removal fees are a bit high, but I'm sure competitors charge similar fees.

Not sure which exact location services my street in Parma (Fernhill Ave) but I was pulling in my driveway when the recycling truck was coming in front of my house. The wind blew down the waste can and I noticed the gentleman picked it up and placed it back in the correct spot. How nice because he could’ve just left it there!
