The owner was gracious enough to take us on a tour. We didn't find the parts we were looking for. We did find the most beautiful junk yard I have ever seen. I'll be back. Even if it's just for a chat with the owner and a walk around .
Lots of older and hard-to-find parts, especially vintage Volkswagens. Biggest selection I've seen in a while. Pay a visit before the overgrowth comes up if possible, it gets pretty thick towards the back of the yard.
I had been trying to find a certain part for my 04 vehicle that several salvage yards did not have. To order new it was $120.00. And the one junkyard that had one wanted $65. Somebody asked if id called South Western. I hadn't even heard of it. Low and behold he had the exact part o needed. Took me 10min. to pull it myself and he only charged me $25 bucks for it! He drew me a quick map of right where the car was too! Very nice n fair good ole boy with a nice German Shepherd...
Go anywhere but this place! so unorganized and sells overpriced junk that does not work. Guaranteed to refund my money if part did not work but then decided not to stand by their word....will never buy anything again from this BS business
