I decided to give this place a try after going through 2 auto parts store batteries that didn't make it past the warranty. Very friendly and great service. I've never bought a reconditioned battery but the price can't be beat. Best place to buy a car battery!

make and model but wanted to charge me 250 dollars. Luckily I found this place and got a great deal and a new battery in enough
time to make it to the things I had to do today! The owner was so kind and friendly. Great experience to an otherwise crappy morning
Awesome place!! Great experience!! The guy was very knowledgeable. Went everywhere looking for a battery for my daughter's hybrid. No one was able to help me. We went here and got all my questions answered and walked out with a new battery. My daughter was happy and so am I. I will definitely go back.
Do you remember when you first started driving and you didn't know anything about cars and your older family members helped you out when you need it? that's how it felt going here. it's so hard to find any type of auto place that doesn't treat me like an illiterate worm because I'm a woman who doesn't know anything about cars. this is literally the first time I've had an auto store experience where I didn't feel like I was secretly being called stupid. very quick, very kind. I'm going to recommend this place until I can't speak anymore.
Don't let the dirt, disarray, or age of the shop deter you from going. This place is full of very helpful, very knowledgeable, and very fair good ol boys who's goal is to get you what you need. They even instructed me on how to "revive" my old semi truck batteries at home rather than trying to sell me new ones. Ohio Battery in Ashland, OH is my first pick for my battery needs!
Selling a used refurbished battery for $70 is ridiculous. There is no refurbishment process. They do not do any type of cleaning or testing. These are junkyard batteries that are holding on with a prayer to keeping a charge. Go to AutoZone. Pay a few bucks more and get yourself a brand new battery instead of bothering yourself something that is a POS.
Real good phone etiquette, couldn't understand what he said then he acted as if I was wasting his time. I'm looking for a $300 battery and I guess they don't need my money. Now you know why I stick with one dealer.

Have been a long time customer here, however I bought a battery there on September 19th and it was dead by October 29th. Did not have my receipt so they would not return it. However I did have my bank statement showing that I paid for it, still would not do anything for me. Then they tried to tell me that it wasn't the battery that it was my car. Went to a different location and bought a new battery and everything has been fine. Thanks for nothing! Will never go back there again!

I've gotten batteries for my cars from there since 2008. The guys are always SUPER nice and helpful!!! For $30 you can get your battery issue resolved with a 3 year warranty on top of that! They also help the environment by recycling your old battery and will swap them out for you free of charge. Please take my advice, if you need a battery for a vehicle, go see these guys, you absolutely won't regret it!!
I live in Wooster and despite searching Google for used car battery near me, reconditioned car battery near Wooster, rebuilt car battery, etc, this place never came up 😑 I finally remembered it was in Assgland and found the address myself. I've bought 3 reconditioned batteries here and they've always lasted for years; that's why I'll be buying another one tomorrow. Good service too!
Great place to go if you can't afford a NEW Battery and they also give you a 1 year Warranty. Now that is Wonderful if you are on a fixed income or Retired.

Every battery I have ever bought here has worked and I have had no issues. It depends on the size of battery you get but I usually trade one in and pay 45 a battery. Oh and if you don't see someone in the shop right away, they maybe in the warehouse next door so they will cone to you.
Inexpensive batteries for most makes of automobiles. I got a 2nd battery for my PT Cruiser for $40.00. I didn't know what a second battery was. Basically, it's a new battery that sits on a store shelf for too long. This business picks them up at a discount price and passes the savings on to you the customer. They install most batteries as you wait. My wait time was no more than 20 minutes. The give you a warranty on every battery you purchase.
