I needed a tow a while back was 120 then a little extra when he arrived for something I forgot what he said then I called today to get a town and I’m around the corner from the lot so driver wouldn’t be driving no more than 4minutes to get to my car and drop it off 8mins away they said 130$ YEAH TOWING COMPANYS IN FARGO ARE TRULY TOO EXPENSIVE I UNDERSTAND IF UR DRIVING 10mins or more to me but my request wasn’t gonne be no more the 15minutes then he is back at work for next person …. If u got money they are fact but I just spend 500 on a part and 500 had to go to mechanic so 130$ tow is a huge nono
I used Harry's Towing on a cold February day to have a vehicle towed to a shop. They arrived right on time, hooked up the vehicle with ease, and had the transaction completed professionally and at a fair price. Tanner did the work and was a good dude.
Saw a Midwest tow truck, which is the same company as Harry’s towing, F-M towing, and northland towing. This tow truck was going extremely fast. On top of that ran a already “red” stoplight. I called there number to inform them of this drivers behavior. Response was he can do that he’s going to an accident. I responded it’s not very safe for him to drive that fast especially in town. Lady responded saying “it doesn’t matter he’s going to a PD call he can do that” then abruptly hung the phone up. I would highly NOT recommend this company.
When l had my car towed last month it was like hell on earth. I had to pay hundreds of dollars for towing, storage daily , and even a new key because my car had actually been stolen. But Harry's was able to help me thru the process and l thought the employees there
were professional and helpful and respectful.
The worst!!!! If I could I would give them NO stars! They would not give me any information about their business hours, because they had already advised someone else who called on my vehicle the business hours!! Like how hard is it to tell me what time your business opens, so that I can have someone drop me off to get my car back and go buy formula for my baby!!!!
My wife and infant daughter were in Fargo from Bismarck for a medical procedure, and somehow (the vehicle's control module should not allow this) my wife's keys locked in the vehicle when putting our daughter in her car seat (August, hottest month of the year). Fargo police dispatch called Harry's Towing for us, telling us there is no charge for emergency vehicle lockouts when kids are inside. Harry's shows up, unlocks vehicle, then threatens to strand my pregnant wife and infant daughter in Fargo if she doesn't pay $35. She only had enough for gas and food for her trip, so him and his supervisor forced my wife to give up the only $20 she had for food, or they would have towed our vehiclemvehicle, stranding my pregnant wife and infant daughter in Fargo, with no money.. Horrible customer service. I would never treat one of my customers with such disregard. Sometimes in customer service, situations call for compassion for your fellow human beings. That's what sets apart the great companies from those that will continue to shoot themselves in the foot.
I called two other places in Moorhead took way to long Harry towing guy came right away but under the weather they got super busy but some ppl don't seem to understand they only can move as fast as they can when busy. This guy was awesome! I didn't catch his name but all I knew is he just got married. He was awesome! Thanks! Will only go threw him again!! Those saying rude things need to understand that if your rude to anyone expected back from anyone. They are humans too...
Extremely rude and unprofessional. Charge everyone a different price. Threaten to keep your car and charge more if you ask simple questions. Sketchy and disorganized system. Would not trust them or want to be alone around any of them.
Horrible experience. Went to get my car back and while I was inquiring as to why it was towed because there weren't any visible signs where I parked to tell me I would be towed if I parked there and they were very very rude. A grumpy lady in the back office was yelling to the front telling saying there were signs all over for 2 days and I should've seen them.
There weren't any visible signs where people parked. They showed me the sign and I said that was not where I parked. Had they been where people actually park they wouldn't have gotten their money though, but either way rude rude people, and I'm not even from the area so having the signs in windows and not at actual parking spots doesnt make any sense.
I get it they have a job to do and they didnt put the signs up, they get a call and they go tow... I dont really care, but the rude attitude was extremely unnecessary.
Made me wait an hour before taking my info. I waited. Then I waited another 30 minutes. Then I call them back and ask what's going on. They tell me to wait another hour. I foolishly do. I call them back and they ask me to wait another hour.
Wish I could talk about their service but they never gave me any, and it doesn't even seem like they tried too. (I ended up using aggressive towing. Quote was $5 more but they came and got me out in under an hour. so worth it)
Allpro towing came out. Said they couldn't get my car out of the ditch. They left. Called this place. They got me out in about 20 minutes. I would definitely not call allpro.
They are AMAZING! I had my car towed this winter because of the snow and they were timely and even backed my car up into a parking spot (which was not an easy job). I HIGHLY recommend!
Very professional and arrived quickly. They were able to pull my car out of a large drift in just a few minutes with no damage or issues. I thought the fee was fair and similar to other tow shops. Hopefully I’ll never need their services again, but would def call if I did.
I got really stuck in the snow late at night. These guys were timely, very helpful and made sure I could get home through all the snow. I will call them again if I ever need help.
If you are ever traveling do not call this place worst experience I've ever had. Waited 35 minutes for a tower when they got there 15 miles out of Fargo took guy at least 20 minutes or more to hook up our truck then started taking off and blew a dolly tire and then had to call for another truck to bring a spare dolly and charge us $166.00 such a inexperienced driver and didn't care what he was doing ,will never recommend these people to anyone.
Accidentally locked my keys in my car yesterday. Only took the driver 10 minutes to arrive. When we were filling out the paperwork we were chatting and it turns out he was on his way home when I called and he still came to help me out. Not a lot of people would do that so I am over the moon happy with this service. :)
You will find this business behind Tub's of Fun on Main ave. I was treated respectfully and with compassion. Becky behind the front desk was able to answer questions I had . She is a real asset. Jason went with me to retrieve my personal belongings from my suv. Thanks for the help you two.
I called them up with a very odd request. I needed help loading an Aqua Massage machine into my cargo van. I drove from Minneapolis 3.5 hours to buy it and thought I could get it into my van with some ramps and a come a long, I was very wrong. I called them up and they answered right away and said they were sure they could figure something out. They showed up 5 mins later, took a look at what I was asking, said they would be back in 5 mins with a different truck and they were. They were able to get it onto their flat bed truck and load it into my van. They helped me take the wheels off of the machine so that it would fit into the van and never tried to rush anything. They helped me load all of the other parts for it and put the stuff I had taken out of my van back into it. They even let me use some of their tools. They also had another one of their drivers stop by on his way back to their shop just in case we needed more help lifting. They did all of that and only charged me $100. I would have been totally screwed without them and I would have happily paid more for the service I received. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!
It took almost two hours to get our car towed from the time I called. Had to call twice also to ensure someone was coming. Have to say tho the tow truck diver was very professional, and did a great job getting the car out of a tight spot with the help of some very awesome highway workers!!
I wasn't a paying customer however today I almost got hit my one of their younger tow drivers. He pulls out in front me me, I honk, he proceeds to flick ME off and continue driving. Who does that especially in their work truck?? Seriously so unprofessional and you could have killed me. Dick.
One of the worst businesses I have ever seen, they are rude and not past swindling you out of a couple hundred dollars. There is no customer service, they come and you pay extensively out of your own pocket. Any experience I have had with these guys have been nothing but frustrating.

Very fast! I've been sitting at home all morning waiting on another tow company, finally called harry's and they came and got my car right away! Cost was 10$ cheaper as well! Thank you harry's for your fast and effective service!
On the evening of January 23rd the brakes on my vehicle failed and I needed to call a tow truck. I called Midwest Towing because I had had a great experience with them in the past, however, they sent someone from Harry’s Towing. When the tow truck arrived, I asked the driver why he was there instead of Midwest and he said they were a part of the same company. I was told that I would get a discount if I had my car towed to their sister company, Exhaust Pros, so I had the car towed there for repair. On January 24th the car was ready to be picked up from the shop. I picked the car up shortly before noon that day, and as soon as I got home, I noticed obvious indentations on the trunk. What a terrible eyesore! I wanted to call them back immediately but they closed at noon, so I called Harry’s Towing instead and I was told to meet them Monday at Exhaust Pros. I met with the owner of Exhaust Pros and a person from Midwest Towing, showed them the indentations that had happened while the car was in their hands, and I was told that they did not do it and there was no way it could have been done at their shop. I was also told that their camera system was out and there was no footage of my car being worked on, however, they do have another camera system on its way. My complaint was brushed aside, they did not offer to fix the damage. I am very unhappy with both companies and would never patronize their businesses again.The estimated cost of the damages, according to a body shop, is 756.03.
These guys are under new owners. My truc k froze up and these guys spent hours trying to get me started. Ended up getting towed to a garage to get thawed out and filters changed. total bill from them was 280. I was expecting at least 500. These guys are great. Nice in the trucking world to have someone not take advantage of you. Thanks guys.
These guys are rude to say the least. I have dealt with them in having my car towed, as well as using them to tow cars in a private lot. The workers are difficult to talk to as they are stuck up and think they don't need to show any respect. They also are willing to bad mouth their customers which generate their income. Do not use this towing company, you will regret it.
These people are absolute crooks. My landlord had my truck towed and the fees start out at $190, plus they charge $30 a day! Border Cities is half the price, plus they don't charge you for the day it goes in or the day it comes out. If you are going to get towed, better to get towed by the city, I guess. I hope and pray that Northland/Harry's towing goes out of business.
