What clients say about Bud's Service Center and 24 Hour Towing in Fargo (ND)
They charged me $1100 dollars for a fuel tank and I definitely told him what was exactly wrong with my truck and it was never fixed. And after I told him to ride with me and check out the noise and how it was bogging down he still didn't want to make it right. And my truck broke down a hour from his shop his shop they are just money hungry and will tell you lies just to take your money be careful
Thanks to both tow and service dept for your quick honest service. Being broke down in the middle of rush traffic your kindness make a stressful time go smoothly. Again God's blessing to each of you and thanks.
Buds is the towing company in a pinch, and any time you need a quality tow, trucks are clean and in great shape. Friendly and reliable. You will not be disappointed by the service and punctual.
I called Bud’s today as my vehicle was so close to rolling. I was on a gravel road and needed to turn around. I backed up a foot too far into a washed out part of the road and slipped into a culvert (embarsssing, I know). My back left tire was completely up in the air and I was terrified. Someone who stopped to check on me recommended calling Buds because it was just down the road a few miles. I couldn’t access my insurance info to check coverage. I called Buds and they were to me in 15 minutes and had my car out in 2 minutes with no damage and driveable. The gentleman that recommended Buds explained that he was worried there would be damage but, knowing the tow guys at Buds are “great” he knew they’d get my car out with minimal damage. Craig was the tow truck driver and came with a younger man. They made me feel so much better about the situation and gave me everything necessary to file with my insurance. I couldn’t be more thankful for them as I’ve never been in this situation before! My panic was evident over the phone and they came so quickly and were so efficient!
Predatory towing practices, if the cops have to call a tow company tell them to not call buds! Charged double the price of a place twice as far away! Cleanup fee is a joke, and who charges over $300 for wenching for 25mins? Called around to a few tow company's and all agreed I was being overcharged! $125 a hour is the standard for wenching. Save yourself the headache and use anyone else!
Had my car serviced here about a month and a half ago. I went to go change my oil today only to find that my oil drain bolt was impacted in. Edit: I called and they said that they would help me loose it.
Noticed early in the morning before work my car had some thing dragging from it
Mike was more than happy and able to get me in right at 8 o’clock in the morning and took care of the problem within minutes!
Great customer service!!
Awful service, rude. A make Karen works the front. Refused to take my car due to a weed odor. My dad has cancer and a medical card. Nothing was in vehicle. Vehicle was smoked in days ago. Was rude about it and we were asked to leave. Sorry male karen, I’ll call you Kyle, sorry Kyle but you are an awful person. Sorry it’s been smoked in before, cancer patients tend to use weed.
Today we are supposed to have a blizzard and I come out to my car to find the tire completely flat. Not only did they get me in last minute but they also fixed it for a very reasonable rate! Very friendly and helpful with a cute receptionist :p
I think it’s a very messed up that someone gets into in a car accident had to leave personal items in car and a single mother had to pay $600 to get her things out!! Making a whistleblower! $600’to get personal items out and still can’t get the car! Just want purse!!
Poor service! My daughter was in a car reck charged her $600 to just get her purse and personal belongings and kept the car! I cat believe that anyone would take advantage of a huge tragedy
AAA hired this company BUDS to tow my son‘s vehicle to have a battery replaced. The driver pulled the bumper almost completely off the front of my son’s vehicle and shattered the undercarriage of his vehicle as well The establishment the car was dropped off at called my son immediately and told him of the damage my son called AAA immediately who sent out an email to buds service center , they have denied the damage up and down despite testimony and photos of the damage. Looks like we’re going to court! Stay away from this business
They ain't salespeople. So don't expect someone kissing up to you. They are curt and to the point. They don't try to explain to you what's wrong with your car the way you explain to a child why the sky is blue. They just talk to you like a peer.
They charge less, they don't charge you for parts or services they didn't do. They are honest. They will fix what you need fixed and they do it in a timely manner.
They are good at what they do and what they do ain't pretty.
Called saying I have savecoin oil change coupon (includes tire rotation and 20 point inspection) and also requested a DOT inspection. Came in, only completed the oil and DOT, NO rotation or inspection. The tires were 5 PSI low, went back in told them they didnt do what was included, told me I never said I had the coupon even though they just used it as payment. Took my car back in to complete the tire rotation and "20 point inspection". Tires were nearly 10 PSI OVERFILLED! Made me question my DOT inspection if they even looked at anything. Will not be going back.
I’ve had nothing but excellent quality and service from these guys. The one star reviews on here sound like people who don’t know how to care for their own vehicles in the first place and need to blame it on someone other than themselves. You cry babies need to realize you’re dealing with mechanics, not customer care specialist who are trained to cater to your weak and sensitive egos. I drive from Jamestown just to get my vehicles worked on by this crew.
Bud's Service Center was the one sent out to help me when I called Roadside assistance with a flat tire. They were fast, professional, and went the extra mile. Very happy with thier service!
Brought my car in the be fixed paid 70 dollars just to be told it's fine and it was just low on antifreeze. Once home it started spewing smoke and was obviously not fixed. I called to have them tow it back to fix what wasn't done the first time and I was told I would have to pay for the tow. I dont want to drive it back and mess it up worst but obviously that what this shop wants. They want their customers to pay for service they dont complete and then pay for it after it has been "fixed". Bud ran a better shop
Go here to get your vehicle worked on! (West Fargo) Best prices for this area, they are fast, and their towing to the shop is inexpensive.
I've been taking my vehicle here for over a year now for general maintenance(always had a quick and positive experience) and today, my alternator blew. They towed her, fixed her up and had her back to normal in about 3 hours. Love this place! Big thanks to them. ♡
Damaged my vehicle when towing. I drive a jeep Jeep wrangler on a 3" lift, had everything installed in May by professionals and was rock solid. They for my vehicle and now it goes into death wobble over 50 mph. Think it's me? Call or look up OCD offroad Stafford Virginia, they did the work, go tell them that they did a poor job because it worked great until these vultures touched it. I can visibly see a drag link bolt at an off angle about 30 degrees.
Rep I had was useless as well, couldn't answer any questions.
They dont bother calling to let you know they'll be over 4 hours late BEYOND the 90 minute wait, and their drivers dont seem to care to bother calling once they get your vehicle where it needs to be since it is literally life threatening to sit around and wait for them to bother showing up. I had to call hours past my pick up window to see if anyone had even gotten my vehicle. No one informed me of any delays, I HAD TO CALL and ask where they were after 90 minutes in my cold car. I could have been stuck in my dead car in the -30 weather, due to lack of communication for eveveeveven longer.
I know yesterday was hectic with weather, but I dont find that an acceptable excuse to screw someone over when they now have to hire a secondary towing service to get my vehicle where it needs to be, because your driver was lazy. You admit fault, then say you'll do nothing. Unprofessional.
I suggest anyone else. I'll give you 2 stars because you did manage to get my vehicle where it needed to be, after I had to make several phone calls all day and the end response from Buds service was "Sorry. Nothing we can do."
Fix your mistakes. It is literally your job.
Regards.
Brought my car in for an oil change. After about 10 minutes they came in the waiting room and told me they couldn't get my oil plug off. I took my car home and got the plug off myself with relative ease. Seemed to me like they just didn't want to do. Bad customer service as well. Wish I could give em zero stars
As a transplant college student, I go to Bud's for all of my vehicle concerns: battery, brake callipers, and low coolant among them. They are kind, informative, care for their customer's safety, and are reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
It was 20 below zero and i had a flat and a dead battery. My insurance uses buds so I didnt have a choice. I will say before ive had the nicest guy help me. But this day the man was just mean to me. He talked to me like i was stupid. Yelled at me. Threatened to not help me out. And behaved like he was doing me a favor. In all my years ive never been talked to like that by an employee of any kind. I understand it was cold and i was in a line of people. But i dont believe that makes it justifiable to treat someone thats in a bind like that.
I am a twenty year old female who knows close to nothing about cars. I called Bud's and they gave me a free inspection within an hour of my call. Immediately after my inspection, my car was completely fixed in less than an hour. Bud's was honest about what needed to be done and charged me a lot less than some other places. They also gave me a student discount without me asking! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!
Had them tow my car when it broke down out of town. Extremely polite and professional. The owner was the only guy working that night but still showed up in a timely manner. Would absolutely use them again!
I have gone to Bud's for decades, to service old vehicles and new. Their prices are reasonable, they are straightforward and honest, and very easy to work with. I have recommended them to my friends time and time again.
Ok these guys are great! I love going in and they know my name. That is a really big deal to me. I totally hate paying them but they always do a great job Everytime. Their pricing is fair and I don't feel they have ever overcharged me for anything they have done. They are always up from and honest to work with. I have been with them for 3-4 years now and they are great!
Very reasonable price for an oil change. Haven't had major work done there yet but I wouldn't hesitate to. Very friendly and answered all my questions even though they didn't pertain to why I was there.
