I want to tell about my experience with this shop they do excellent work I've had them to work on multiple cars for me and it's all ways good work very well priced so 5 star reviews from me
Wouldnt honor my appointment, because i wanted wait in their waiting room while they worked on my tryck. Made appointment 2 weeks out, took the day off work, drive 30 min to the appointment at 830 am like they booked me, all to be turned away because I Said I didn't have anywhere to go while they worked on my truck. Explained I have 1 vehicle and I'm the only driver in the house, and he said it would be undue stress on them if I waited for them to service it.
Took my truck in for brake service without an appointment this morning and have it back in perfect working order by 3 pm this afternoon. Very reasonable pricing and super nice guys!
I take all my vehicles to Rob and Greg. I trust them to shoot straight with me and it is nice to have a local shop that I can trust. Very happy with their services.
Really nice guys, straight to the point. There not gonna lie, or take money from you. Do amazing work, gonna come back again. if you live in boone as a app student go here.
I called out of the blue and even though I hadn't been in a long time AND Greg was about to go on vacation, he said to swing by and he'd use the diagnostic. Well, it showed I needed a spark plug and coil which I bought at Nappa (also the best most helpful lowest prices parts store), went back to Good Guys and Greg kindly put it in right there in the lot for $20!
Now a customer for life! I also appreciate that he allowed me to buy and bring my own part.
Took numerous family cars to Greg for repair as the jobs were too big or I was too busy to do myself in my own shop. The work was done top-knotch and less expensive than others. This is by far, the best shop in town for great workmanship and super friendly atmosphere. I can turn a car over to this shop, and not ever worry about anything!
I had a catastrophic failure on the rear axle of my pickup. My bad fortune was offset however as I broke down near Good Guys Garage. I was able to limp my truck into the parking lot on a Sunday. The friend who picked me up said that Good Guys was a great garage and the owners were fair and honest. I called them on Monday to explain why my truck was there. Even though it was not something they normally did they took on the job. Over the next few weeks my father ended up in the hospital. He went into hospice there and I had to spend every waking hour with him until he passed. The garage owners were kind and understanding and told me to concentrate on my family. Once I had the time to order the necessary part it took two weeks to arrive. Greg and Rob repaired the truck promptly and professionally and at an incredibly reasonable price. I was shocked. Everything was done at the highest standard and the truck drives perfectly. I have driven on several long trips and have even pulled a heavy trailer. The work and price were awesome but the dedication, honesty, and character Greg and Rob have are unmatched and rare. I feel very confident in recommending them to everyone. They truly are good guys.
This place sells nice used vehicles and does car repairs I stopped by to ask a question and get my car inspected the guy working I think was the owner was very nice and helpful I would recommend this place if you are looking for a used car or truck or need auto repairs very nice owner and helpful looked like nice used cars and trucks
Once again good guys did me right, what I thought was going to be a $300 bill turned out to be 20 bucks. My knowledge of cars is limited to brakes,oil changes and a few other maintenance issues. I could have been ripped easily this time but good guys was 100 percent honest and straight up, they've done work for me in the past and it's always been a great customer experience.

I think I spoke with Gregg, but he was very kind to my husband and me. He said he’d probably be able to fix my car on Friday, and we got a call around 2pm that day to come pick it up. Fast, professional, courteous, and it was less than expected. Definitely coming back if we have anymore repair work done!
Greg and Rob have done wonders for my Subaru. They are very helpful individuals and I have had ZERO complaints about any of the work they've done. They did the head gasket for my Outback and she's been running tip-top since they repaired it in 2017. If I need any major work done to my vehicle I think of them first and foremost. I highly recommend them, they really are "Good Guys".
These guys are easily the best in town. We've got an older SUV with about 195K miles on it and over the last couple years, they've been great keeping it on the road at a *very* reasonable price.
I would not consider taking my truck anywhere else. It's all in their name, Rob and Greg truly are good (nay, great) guys! Always try to fit me in as soon as possible, solid, quality work, good prices, up-front and friendly service. From the first time I went there and they refused to charge me because the repair was so easy/quick, to each and every time I've since returned, it only further cements for me what a great garage Rob and Greg are running. They've got a customer for life.
Been going here for years, and they are super honest and wonderful people to boot. I never go anywhere else if i can help it. They always bend over backwards.
Should be called "lawyers garage", tried to take my jeep there for simple repairs and it took em a week to call me back and say they didn't want to work on it for liability this liability that. They lost a customer over this. You try to give em business and they turn it down for "liability" sorry but I ain't never heard a mechanic turn down business for that. Will be taking my jeep to a different mechanic that's happy to accept my business.
Great service and a great team there, really Good Guys! Rob Vance did an excellent job on my car repair. I needed brake work and my thermostat housing replaced. He was up front with me about what repairs were needed and a rundown of the rates for the parts and labor. Fair and honest.
Not sure these are really good guys, when I told him I had an older van that had given me good service but had broken down and I wanted a mechanic to look at it and see if it was worth fixing, he immediately made excuses about being backed up and having a full parking lot but he revealed the truth in his mumbling. ....not sure if it is worth the cost of repair... (ie... just the charge to diagnose the problem wouldn't be enough to satisfy him and he didn't want to take it if he wasn't going to get paid for a full repair). If theyou had taken it and said it was repairable for under $1000 I would have asked them to repair it. Had to go elsewhere. ...and I will from now on.
These mechanics are honest, good mechanics, and their prices are fair. Affordable, I would say. We have had our 2 vehicles cared for by them for the past 6 years (a '97 S10 and a '99 Civic), and we are more than satisfied with their work. In fact, if it wasn't for Good Guys, I would have junked the S10 when it developed a total electrical failure, and the mechanics where I broke down were convincing me it was the computer, and would cost around $500 to fix, and they weren't interested in fixing it; but Good Guys encouraged me to tow the S10 to them for a look-see, and then fixed it for $85 (ignition switch failure). Most impressively, they treat all their customers with respect, whether man or woman, old or young. I sure do appreciate Good Guys Garage!
