Went there to get a battery change to my Kia Sorrento. I was given so many reasons as to why they could not change the battery. After finally getting them to help me boost my battery enough for me to get to the advance auto in Windsor North Carolina . I bought a battery within 10 minutes. They had the battery in. For me, I wasted at least an hour to 2 hours inPlymouth. There was only one young man there that tried to be helpful the rest of them. I don't even know why they're there.
My alternator when bad when I stopped for gas. Went to here and was helped by Craig and a young man with the surname Bennett. They were not only extremely helpful, but personable as well. They called a mobile mechanic for me. The job itself was hard work but they helped me get on the road that day and in the mean time let me sit inside and feel safe!! Thank you!!
Shawnette is very sweet! She was so helpful with my family and I today. 9-19-24. She goes above and beyond for her customers! She was very personable, very caring. They need more people like her in Advance Auto! Definitely give her a 100/10 for her help and her kind heart! Definitely ask for Shawnette or “Shy” when you’re at Advance Auto in Plymouth!
Great place to get the parts you want. If you order online you get a 20% discount. And then pick up in store. That is what I usually do most. The staff is usually knowledgeable about what you need to have done or what you have going on with your vehicle.
My husband was in Plymouth and stopped to get gas. Then the truck wouldn't start. When he finally got it started, he drove to Advance Auto. They diagnosed the problem and contacted a mobile mechanic for him. The people there were super helpful, concerned, and friendly! We feel very lucky that Advance Auto was there!
Very helpful workers, I didn't have a clue about how to change out a dead keyfob, but they put the battery in for me and checked to make sure it worked.
Terrible experience. Since when can you not get help in an Advance Auto??? Went in and asked if they had any hubs/wheel assembies, to which they answered that they don't carry hubcaps. Told them no, not looking for a hubcap. Next answer, "oh you're talking about lug nuts." I told him very frustratedly no. He asked if I had a part number. smh Finally, I just asked to be directed to their chisels. The answer to that??? "What does it look like?" I just looked at him in disbelief. He finally says, "you got a part number?" You can't make this stuff up!!!! They have some automotive supplies (which is why I left any stars), but you better know what you want when you walk in.
I will give them 5 stars but I'm only giving them one if you use your debit card to purchase And want a refund the Store clerk will tell you that the refund is instant back to your card that is not true it's about 5 to 7 days will you to get your money back. But other than that the store is great and have a good product.
I only go here when they don't have what I need at Autozone. The main reason being that I asked some questions one time and the dude told me he didn't know anything he just worked there. Went next door and even though we couldn't find what I needed in the computer the guy recognized the part and went in back and found me one.
well you go there for parts and they sale you the wrong parts this can be very inconvenient for some people being its the only parts store opne all day Saturday and Sunday i really don't buy parts there anymore but i will get motor oil & transmission fluid
This was at one time a great store due to having staff that had the knowledge to help. The staff that they now is so lacking in knowledge, which it makes it very frustrating. If Jerome is still there, he is the only one worth working there.
My battery was fading, they installed a new one quick like. Very friendly, good price, and quick. They even smiled when the temperature was 20 degrees! Thank you so much!
