Called Thursday Feb 8, 2924 to prearrange a tow at my house for morning of Feb 9, car had a dead battery, wanted my Bimmer shop to replace it, but appointment had to be for the next day. Dean's did a great job prepping for the tow by phone: is your car 4WD (yes) then we must use a rollback truck, not mast and hook or transmission will be damaged; will it go into neutral (no) then we will try a jump, put in neutral and wench onto truck if won't start or maybe it will start and we can drive it on. I mentioned they would have to back up my long, curvy, narrow driveway to get to car in garage, there was no turnaround area for a truck. They got on Google Earth, saw my house and the drive, figured out car location, brought long jumpers, all set for 7:30 a.m. appearance. They called me at 7:00 the next morning to say they were in the driveway. Early!!! Nice. New truck, clean, two gentlemen clean in appearance, courteous, quick, professionals, not weekend warriors. They had to turn the truck around in the cul-de-sac because the cables would not reach backing in...no complaint, just "hey we need to turn the truck around, back in a second". Pulled up, hooked up, car started, they had to back out again to cul-de-sac to then back up to the garage to load the car, no complaint. Drove the car up, closed the windows (rain coming), checked that roof was closed, paid by credit card, and they were gone. It was fast, deliberate, care was taken, they knew what to do. A special acknowledgement for the dispatcher: he was excellent and thorough with clarifying what would be needed so the right truck and equipment would be sent...this is a well run company that delivered excellent service, strongly recommend.

Well I've never really had a POSITIVE experience with a tow company..until now!! My jeep met its demise on the side of the road earlier this morning (clutch!!) as my pooch and I were returning from our earlier morning trail run. I called around and finally got ahold of Dean's. I was in a bit of a hurry and Dean showed up in about 10min! Loaded er' up and allowed my small pooch and I to ride in the truck with him, he even offered his tastycake snack for her as she was trying to steal it off the seat..lol! Dropped us all home safe and sound, easy peasy, and price wasn't astronomical like I feared. Dean was extremely pleasant and I would DEF recommend them for your towing needs! THANK YOU for gettng us home safely!! Cleo enjoyed her first tow truck ride!!!

I had a bad experience with AAA where they the driver didn't show up and canceled the service request. I had an appointment to get my car fixed at 1:30 and with no way to get it there. I called Dean's and he had a driver here in 14 minutes, and had my vehicle hooked up and down the road in no time! I will definitely be using his services in the future.

Thank you so much for tonight. I guess i hit a pot hole and my tire was done for. I wanted it to be towed to discount tires and i deal with it in the morning. Instead they came and changed my tire and saved me money and told me deal with it the morning and not to leave my car at discount tires all night. Thank you so much. Best in town !

I can’t say enough about Dean’s. I left work after a long shift to find my car dead. Security was unable to jump it and because it was on the 4th floor of a parking garage under 7 feet of clearance most companies weren’t able to tow it. I got in touch with Dean’s and they came right away. They were helpful, professional, and careful not to damage my car. What could have been a terrible experience turned out to be a minor inconvenience. They also gave me a discount because I’m a healthcare worker. If I ever need a tow again I’ll be calling Dean’s.

I called in to report on of the drivers ran me off the road due to driving so fast and was unable to slow so he jumped lanes. On top of it I'm pregnant the lady in the office was so nonchalant about it. It's disgusting.

Office personnel are NOT friendly. My car was towed here after an accident I was NOT at fault for and they were rude on the phone and in person. Claimed no responsibility for my missing key fob so I could get into the vehicle to get my personal belongings.

Outstanding customer service and they stand behind their work. I’ve been using Deans for 10 plus years and have never had an issue. On my last call to them they damaged my trailer. I called them and let them know. Within 36 hours, they looked at it and had it fixed. The guy that repaired it said he offered them 2 fixes. Took great care of my 81 yr old mother's car. I called and set the tow up but was unable to be there. He spent about a hour getting the car. It was electronic which made it difficult somehow. Anyway, they did a great job without stressing out my mother. Plus the prices were great!

Called Friday night for a tow was told they couldn't get to our vehicle until Saturday morning . PDQ in Wake me Forest was kind enough to let our vehicle stay there overnight because the tow services that say they are 24 hours just brush you off. The lady that answered my call sounded half asleep. The flip side is ...I have an automotive business I run and I frequently need a tow service but I wouldn't recommend or use them for my customers.

This is the second time I've called Dean's for help with a dead vehicle, and they were fantastic again! Kevin arrived on the scene just a few minutes after I called. He worked quickly to get my car out of the intersection and transported it to the mechanic without issue. I especially appreciated his clean, air conditioned truck and friendly attitude. Needed a 10x12 storage building moved from Northern Durham to Willow Spring. Could not get any of the storage building shops to move it so I thought about a wrecker service and I’m so glad I did. I googled wrecker service near me and sorted by best rated. Dean’s Wrecker service was the first place I called and the last! Very nice folks who took care of me and did a fantastic job. Storage building was picked up at 8:00am and placed in its new position by 10am. The driver even helped me set blocks under building and made sure it was right before he left. Driver was David Raynor and he could not have been nicer and professional. Completely satisfied and I highly recommend this business for your towing needs!!

If I could give NO STARS I would. Do yourself a favor and choose a different tow company if you’re considering. I thought this would be a quick process but they made it more complicated than it needed to be. I called them on November 15 at 8AM to pick up my car roughly 5 miles from their location. On the phone, I asked if he needed the address and he said “No, we tow there all the time.” According to the receipt, my vehicle was picked up at 12:01 PM on November 15. On November 17 at 3:15PM I get a call from Westgate (6 miles from Dean’s) that my car was never dropped off and that my appointment was missed. I call other WestGate locations in my area and I discovered it was dropped off 15 miles in the wrong direction. The wrong WestGate location informed me that my car was received some time on November 16 with no information provided. Their location doesn’t work on recall services AT ALL. I call Dean’s and they just blame it on the driver. He barely let me get a word out of my mouth without cutting me off. No apology or an inch of remorse was given. He just says he’ll go pick it up then hung up in my face. Once again, I asked if they needed the correct address to avoid another mistake and I’m told no? I called back and a different person answers. He’s a little less rude but still blames bad service on “two different people answer the phone so it gets confusing.” He told me he didn’t know what my issue was yet in the same sentence said he over heard the conversation from my previous call with the rude coworker. The whole situation was a joke to them. At that point, I was stuck renting a car for 4 additional days and using Uber due to their mistake. I commute over an hour to work btw. I submitted a claim via BBB (Better Business Bureau) for just the $95 towing fee and Dean’s agreed to issue a full refund which I have NOT RECEIVED as promised. It’s now December 4. This was the most unexpected and unfortunate experience of my life. Simply pathetic. Also, it was very humiliating to have my coworker sit by and witness how Dean’s employees spoke to me throughout the entire process. Thank God for Westgate of Wake Forest for keeping me updated when Dean’s failed to because my car would’ve been sitting much longer at the wrong location if they never reached out about my appointment.

Great experiences with Dean’s. They are very reasonably-priced, and they are able to accommodate many needs with the equipment that they have. What I like most about Dean’s though, is how punctual and reliable they are. I think this is due to their commitment to satisfy the customer. Dean’s has to be the best wrecker/tow service in the triangle. Fair prices and excellent customer service from their drivers. Had Collen tow my vehicle with both passenger side tires blown out. Took excellent care of my vehicle from the moment he arrived and when he dropped it off at the service station. Would and Will recommend them to anyone who needs towing/hauling.
