This company doesn’t even deserve one star but I had to put it
God forbid their system for scheduling appointments messes up your appointment when you call to confirm on the way to your appointment they will flat out blame you and say it’s your fault they don’t see. They are trash and like to call their customers names, be disrespectful, and hang up on you. Terrible business cussed over the phone saying “I don’t give a shit what’s in your car.” All fees had been paid and begged to just get breast pump and baby’s meds out of car and could come back to get the car tomorrow and the guy was completely heartless. Honestly so unprofessional.

Great experience with A plus towing! Had a flat on the side of the highway and they were able to get me quickly and tow me to the closest shop with my tires in stock.

I do not recommend it at all, we used it to replace a vehicle and the truth is, terrible bad service and all with super extreme and super crazy driving, in addition to the fact that in the end they want to charge extra.

One of yalls drivers almost crushed me and my son on hwy 70 on 1-18-25! He was towing a red Toyota Tacoma! Please tell your drivers to be more cautious when lane changing! My son is almost 2 years old and it would've broke my heart knowing he wouldn't have a full life because of one bad choice! And yes we were side by side so he/she could've easily seen us if they looked!

The owner has a nasty attitude and poor customer services. I called from the hospital about having my mom get my stuff out my car after being hit by a drunk driver. He told me I had to wait until I was out the hospital because he only releases to the owner. So what happens if I was in the hospital 3 months. Total disregard. I said something can be notarized and sent for my belonging. He still proceeded with saying no. When I said I will ask my lawyer about getting my belongings, all of sudden it was ok to send something notarized. Don’t use this place at all. The owner is a person with a nasty demeanor, 0 empathy and 0 customer service skills. They will try to make you leave your items there to collect more on the holding fee.

They tow truck drivers drive like a maniac. Was driving home from work and the driver nearly cut off several people through heavy traffic whilst towing a car on the back. You could see the car on the back was unstable. If that’s how your car is being towed I certainly wouldn’t go with their service.

My car was once in repo and they found my car with me in it. They hook my car up and I would not get out and they raise it up to where I was point to the sky open my car door. Jurk it up and down mess up my car.They even flat my tires so I could not drive off and then chase me down the street. I call the bank and they said it was.off repo. Not letting it go

This company will choose the night time even almost at the midnight to conduct the towing of repo. Problem is, after they did that towing, they don't give any notification to the car holder regarding any towing operation. But they put all the claim from their own website and stated that what they do is risky and pray for good health after towing from anyone who has the hardship to pay the finance.
It is such a hypocrite and dirty way to conduct this business. If they were able to provide any notification in the first place, at least i wouldn't need to call the police on my missing vehicle. I had the re-procession from the end of April last time to find out how they conduct the dirty business like this. But here we go again, my car is reprocessed again and i don't even know where to get my item in the car now.Oct 26, 2024 -
If no stars was an option, that is what this would I provide. Like any business, they have their policies that you ensure you are not treated with respect or humanely, but like everyone else. Total protection for themselves in getting their money and not dealing with you.

They are rude an unprofessional I was sitting in my vehicle when they backed to so fast a jacked my car up in the air with me in it almost gave me a heart attack. My car was not vin at all after I was screaming I’m in the car I’m in the car if I hadn’t said anything they would have pulled off with me in it. The car was running he stuck his hand in an took my keys a removed my car keys instead of waiting for me to hand them to him. The guy was rude a kept saying I was been recorded after I asked to get my stuff out that’s when they vin my vehicle. I asked about a drop fee they denied it saying theirs no drop fee when I know that’s a lie bc I have several friends a family with their own tow company an their is a drop fee. to me this company is rude money hungry 450$ for a repo that they couldn’t wait till 8am for me to pay is crazy, or at least give me a drop fee

This company was dispatched to a wreck via the highway patrol for a fleet vehicle of ours. The cost of towing was not shared upfront, the driver called us "bro and was defensive when we simply asked the detail of the charge. The vehicle was pulled from a ditch and moved 5 feet with a charge of $405. We called to make a payment and asked why the price was so high and the owner was extremely rude with people yelling in the background. I do NOT recommend this company if you are looking to work with someone professional. I rarely do reviews, but feel people need to know about this.

Base off of the rude guy I talked too who wouldn’t give me his name. If I could give zero stars I would. I done paid my finance company to release my car and this towing company won’t release it until Monday. Causing me to miss three days of work.

Got behind on my car payments due to hard times with the economy and inflation. My lien holder used this company as a third party to come tow my car. They stole so much of my property out of my car before I had the chance to come and get my things. I had to file a claim and I’m hoping to be able to replace what they took. Everyones experiences are different but this is why reviews are important. DO NOT TRUST this company with ANY of your vehicle needs. The karma that will come back on them and affect them personally as well as professionally is coming sooner than later because I’m sure I’m not the only person who has experienced this with this company.

Customer service was absolutely terrible. Tried to report a genuine concern about a driver literally slinging around the car he was towing in a drive thru. A small drive thru that had many cars around that had to move out of the way and dodge this vehicle. I understand that being a truck driver can be very unforgiving and you gotta get your breaks/lunch in whenever you can, but that was just unacceptable. I would hate to have my car swung around like that. I left a message with the operator who was nice. And then was called back by someone who immediately asked “Who’s this?” Never gave a name but was more than happy to basically say I don’t know what I was talking about and I need to mind my own business. How is that anyway to talk to anyone? Stand behind you employees? Fine and a good manager should stand by their employees, but that’s not how you talk to people.

I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience. It has come to my attention that the company only extends their kindness towards those who require a tow due to circumstances beyond their control, such as accidents or mechanical failures. Unfortunately, this sentiment is not extended to individuals facing vehicle repossession. This distinction in treatment feels like a form of customer discrimination, and I believe it should not be condoned.
Furthermore, I must address the issue of overcharging and unnecessary fees. It has become apparent that the company engages in practices that lead to inflated costs for their services. This includes questionable fees that provide little to no value, adding an unnecessary burden to already stressed individuals.
In these challenging economic times, it is imperative that we show understanding and compassion, even when individuals find themselves in difficult financial situations. No one should feel marginalized or mistreated because of their circumstances. Moreover, it is essential that businesses operate with transparency and integrity, rather than exploiting vulnerable situations through price gouging.
Regrettably, my family feels compelled to escalate this matter to the attorney general's office, as we believe it is a serious concern. Additionally, we plan to connect with former customers who may have faced similar experiences. It is our hope that by shedding light on these issues, we can work towards a fairer and more compassionate approach to customer service.

This place illegally picked up my car without running the VIN to even see if their was a lien or loan and then hung the phone up on me when I called to ask about it. I own my car!!! No liens No loans No payments!!! I’ve contacted law enforcement!

Horrrrrrrribleeeee customer service. Christy or Christine (whatever her name is) is reaaaaaaaal nasty. She was rude to me & my mom via telephone, when I show up in person, she’s on the phone with another customer who also points out to her that she has an attitude. Christine then responds to the lady saying she doesn’t have an attitude & proceeds to hang up on the customer. The other customer standing in the trailer also agreed that Christine was nasty. I’m not sure if she doesn’t enjoy her job but she definitely needs to get out of the customer service business. I will be contacting someone who is above her ASAP. The younger man in the parking lot was nice though.

The Tyndall’s, caused more distress than Honda regarding my vehicle. I did everything correctly in the beginning, turned in keys and told them I would be returning for it once paid off. It’s almost impossible to get someone on the phone, one day I called three times and left a voicemail yet I had to follow up again because the call was never returned. Sometimes I would call and be told they’d call me back however they never did. My vehicle was released for a week before anyone informed me even though I had spoke with them during this timeframe. When we were finally able to speak with someone, Todd (owner) dismissed my concerns entirely while calling me a liar. After everything that we had experienced we wanted to speak to someone in person about our concerns. When we went to go pay our fees we talked with Vicki (front office) who simply kept telling us nothing could be done and did not issue a single apology. We did pay the fees and left but not before making sure they were aware of the terrible customer service they provide, which includes staff verbally insulting customers. It’s a pandemic, everything is crazy, there is no reason for anyone to be treating others the way A+ Towing treated us. Please avoid if possible. Also, please remember all businesses can be researched on the NC Secretary of State website.

My husband and I were stranded after a bad car accident. The owner, who towed our car, not only was super kind, but gave us a ride to the only open car rental place on a Saturday. He helped us out tremendously. I understand towing and repo is a rough business to be in, but it's a job like everyone else has to do. The owners are very understanding and kind people. Their acts of kindness did not go unnoticed!

I have mixed feelings about this company. The lady who answered my the phone was super sweet and understanding about picking up my belongings. Being that I’m pregnant, I called and explained to her how their were certain medications that I left in the car that I NEEDED right away and other belongings I might have in there, so she was able to allow me to pick up my items that very same day. I appreciate her very much for that. I would give her a good rating because I didn’t really have any issues with her However, the guy who towed my car seemed nice and understanding AT FIRST, but he was obviously giving me false assumptions. He came early Saturday morning before I headed to work to pick up my vehicle. He pretty much caught up to me before I left and had a super short conversation about what’s going on. I understand I was late on my payments and had a risk of getting my car repossessed, however I explained to him how I barely started working because I was off for a while due to COVID. I barely started working that week he tried towing the car. He made a statement and I remember clearly that he said, “I will give you an extension till Monday and to not tell my car loan about the extension. As long as you make the payment before Monday, your car will be ok” and I took his word for it. It was really none of his business whether I was pregnant or not, so I didn’t say anything about it… but even if I did tell him, I wouldn’t know if he would’ve really given me that extension. What upsets me the most is that he took my car while I was at work, after making the statement about extending my tow till Monday. I am in my second trimester of pregnancy and I had to wait outside in the heat for an hour for someone to pick me up due to my job being close early on weekends. The fact that he gave me false hope and decided to tow my car that very day upsets me. Don’t give me false hope saying you’re going to extend my tow day till Monday if I make payment that weekend. I would never wish any women to be in the position that I was in or lied to… and if he has a wife, I would hope his wife isn’t pregnant and not be stranded just like I was that day. He specifically needs to do better with his communication. If you’re not going do what you say you were going to do, then next time don’t say or offer an “extension”. Now you’re charging me a high towing fee cus you decided you wanted to lie and tow my car? Yeah that’s messed up. I get that you guys have a job and need to make a living, but don’t give me false hope. Honestly, I feel like a dedication needs to be made off my towing fee just because he decided to lie. Business does not work by giving false assumptions. If you want to talk to me about reducing the fee, then feel free to email me or my loan company since you have my information.

This company is trash and the owner is a thief. My vehicle was towed by them and when I called to inquire about my personal property, I was told that I would have to pay $75 because they took "inventory" of the items in the vehicle. Once I went and got my belongings and paid the $75, I find that my Samsung gear2 smartwatch and its charger as well as my wireless charging phone mount among other less valuable items were missing from my belongings. I also found that the supposed inventory that was done on the property in my vehicle was not done and I was charged $75 for absolutely nothing. I called the company back and spoke directly to the owner, Todd, who told me that I shouldn't have waited so long to retrieve my property and that I couldn't prove what was in the vehicle therefore he could care less about what I was saying. After being hung up on by the so-called business owner several times, I contacted the local police who informed me that they get these types of complaints about this company on a regular basis. They are a bunch of schemers, liars, and thieves, especially the owner Todd. For you to tell a customer that they can't prove it so oh well is highly unprofessional and leads me to believe that he is the one who stole my belongings in the first place. I would not refer my worst enemy to this place. I have been in contact with the BBB as well as my lawyer to file a civil suit against them for my missing property and I plan to leave a bad review on every website possible and will tell everyone I can not to use this company. Thier business practices are shady to say the lease and the owner himself is rude, disrespectful and unprofessional.

This tow truck towed my car within one hour or parking in a lower income apartment complex as I was providing speech therapy services to twins with autism. When calling the company immediately to have it returned and explaining the families I was working with had no means of transportation the tow truck company simply replied it was out of their control.
After speaking with other tenants in the apartment who do have parking permits, I learned that this is a regular occurrence and that the tow truck scouts out the parking lot to intentionally tow those who do not follow the parking policies to a T within minutes of the mistake. This towing company seems to preying on the low income and under privileged occupants of this apartment complex and taking advantage of their helplessness. Unacceptable.Jan 08, 2019 -
Chris towed my restored '77 Wagoneer back to the house after an electrical problem left me stranded. Took great care with my car and even asked if I'd like it off-loaded right into my garage. I didn't know they could do that! Thanks, Chris!

The staff is always friendly and professional. They have done numerous tow jobs for me over the years. The tow business (especially recovery work) isn't always warm and fuzzy -- but A+ does an excellent job!

We were stranded on I-40 on a Saturday night with a blown tire and two kids in the back seat. Being that it was 1:00 AM and we were more than 100 miles from home, we called A+, they were there surprisingly fast, the driver had us taken care of in no time. He had a helpful attitude and even drove us to overnight accommodations. Would highly recommend this company!
