I have used this AAMCO since 2009. Cindy and the Staff always tries to make sure you leave there feeling a WIN/WIN. They always try to find the best way to get you back put on the road. Every issues is worked out in a far manner to all involved. I have disagreed on an issue with them but we were able to agree to civil & fair agreement . The Mechanics are very willing to explain things to you and have done great work for my vehicles since 2009? Cindy help me navigate the Car Credit thunderdome to find a means to fix my cars and get them back on the road. Happy New Year AAMCO and keep those wrenches turning!! Appreciate the WORK! Amazing customer service and was able to get my car back quicker than most places. Great team, highly recommend!

If i could give a zero i would. My son took his car there and its been 3 weeks and they just now started assessing the issue. Charging thousands of dollars for plastic parts ripping off a kid just because they can. made him pay money up front then saying parts we could get for 200 dollars will cost another thousand. Do not take your car or truck here. They are a joke and will rip you off.

I guess I was expecting a lot more out of AAMCO. Dropped my truck off left it with them for a week. All I got out of them was my transmission needed to be rebuilt. I don’t think there is any skill in there shop.They just rebuilt. If you need a repair done to your transmission don’t come here.

Close to. Three months and I still don’t have my truck’s transmission repaired. I took my 2001 Ford 250 into the Winterville, N. Carolina Aamco to have the transmission serviced and it took three weeks to get it back after $5400.00 and a transmission replacement along with a 3 year unlimited mileage parts snd labor warrantee. I then drove it back to Louisiana and within a week the transmission failed. The nearest Aamco dealer to New Orleans is 65 miles away and in spite of there being numerous transmission shops in New Orleans the pickup ended up being towed to that Aamco dealer, where it’s been for close to three weeks. Seems like there has been some dispute with the supplier of the transmission to the dealer in Winterville but in spite of promises to ship a replacement to Louisiana it hasn’t arrived. Seems to me that Winterville Aamco should step up their game and let the Aamco shop in Hammond Louisiana source a replacement transmission from one of many reputable places in Louisiana. As a retired and disabled veteran I have to say that this has been the worst service experience I have recieved in my 79 years.

I had to get a broken taillight assembly replaced, and considering the type of work Maaco does I opted to try them out. When I showed up on a day late last week before 8am to check into this and was waiting for them to open, I was greeted by Stu Steven as he walked up and he immediately and cheerfully asked how he could help me. He brought me inside and was a delight to speak with. He then introduced me to John DeVeaux, the gentleman who would look at my vehicle and produce an estimate. John was very amicable, courteous and professional. Just like Stu, I found him to be cheerful and talkative. He then produced an estimate that was approximately what I expected, and assured me that once the part was acquired that the replacement could be done in 30 minutes. He assured me I would not be inconvenienced with leaving my car there. I called Maaco back within an hour of leaving with the estimate to ensure my funds would be ready. I spoke with Shop Manager Ricky Deleon, and he processed my payment over the phone and stated he would call me with any updates regarding the acquisition of the part. He again ensured me that this would be installed within 30 minutes when I brought my vehicle back. Ricky called me a few times regarding the part acquisition and expected delivery, enabling me to make plans once the part arrived. I went there yesterday, at my convenience after consulting with them via phone, and sure enough they had the part installed within 30 minutes. Ricky even gave me some free advice on how to get some leaves out of my blower that were rattling when I turned on the air conditioner! All of these gentlemen were, quite simply, a joy to deal with. Having been in customer service for well over 25 years myself, I take note when people not only do their job well but treat their customers in good spirit, friendliness and clarity. They communicated proactively with me about everything, and treated me better than I was expecting. These Aamco employees deserve praise. They embody the true philosophy behind Aamco’s mission statements. In a world where people can take such a great attitude of helpfulness for granted, I most definitely do not. They were all just a really cool set of dudes to deal with. Take your vehicle there for any needs that they can help you with. I will definitely be coming back and will share my experience with my friends and associates. They do the right thing well and in an honorable and true spirit of friendliness. My compliments to Stu, John and Ricky for their professional, knowledgeable and amicable nature!

If I could give more stars, I would! Being that their service is so good, they are extremely busy, but nonetheless when they get to your vehicle, you won't have to worry about that problem anymore EVER! My only issue is, I wish I'd gone to them sooner.

I've never heard of an auto shop tell a potential customer to go somewhere else to get an issue fixed because it would cost the customer less money. Long story short, my dad brought his car into AAMCO because of an engine problem. After inspecting it, AAMCO pinpointed the issue and let us know with full transparency that we could get it resolved for less because it had an existing recall. When we went to our dealership, they refused to honor the recall, saying it was due to a different issue when we all knew it wasn't. Cindy was clearly upset for us, which we appreciated. We decided to ask her and her team to work on the car, and they completed the job within days. Truly above and beyond service from her and her team. These are people with integrity, who really care about their customers. My parents will be going to this shop from now on, and so will I if I happen to be in the neighborhood needing auto service! Thank you again, Cindy and AAMCO team.

Cindy is AWESOME! She is very knowledgeable and accommodating. Her team diagnosed and fixed an issue with my transmission in less than 3 hours! It's refreshing to find a business that chooses great customer service and honesty over upselling and the mighty dollar. Thank you to Cindy and her team for quality work and fast, efficient service. It was in 2013 that the transmission in our Toyota Sienna went out. The AAMCO in Winterville (right next to PCC) was recommended, so I took it to them. That was over 10 years ago- we still have that Sienna and there have been absolutely no problems with the transmission. AAMCO of Winterville fixed it at a fair price and they fixed it right! It was then that I met Cindy who runs this location and learned of all the other services they provide. Besides transmission work they do pretty much everything besides tires. We bring all 3 of our cars here for everything from oil changes to brakes and much more. They are friendly, professional, fair in their pricing but most importantly- they do good work. Everyone at this shop is amazing!! From the knowledgeable mechanics to their front end people. Always fast and precise work. Burned some rotors in the mountains and they helped me out big time!

I’ve been coming to this shop for 11 years and it’s always been nothing but the best service everytime! Each time that I’ve bought a new vehicle, I’ve taken it to them so that they could just look over it for me and they’re always the sweetest about helping. Everyone at this location has been the best with customer service and honest with all of my car needs! I recommend Aamco in Winterville to ALL of my friends and family!

Ive only been here once, but they were extremely helpful to me, I had to replace a transmission. it came with the warranty but i never had to use it, since i ended up having to sell the vehicle before that time came. but the lady at front desk was helpful to me when i was there, I did have to go searching for her when i had to come back though, no one was around. might need a bell at front desk for people who are lost.

Love how efficient and detailed they were. We went in thinking we had to get a new transmission and any other place probably would have just charged us a new transmission plus the time but they were thankfully very honest and told us it was a few valves and leaks and saved us a ton of money! I highly recommend them and will definitely be back for any future services.

I took my truck here on a recommendation as I didn't know anything about this place. I can sure say I've learned a lot about them over the last month. I took my truck in thinking I had a transmission problem to find out it was a timing issue. Cindy called the warranty company and got everything approved so they could do the repair. She called me and said everything was approved and I still had $200 left on my engine warranty. When the repair was completed I went to pick my truck up only to be told that I owed a balance of $489.00. how do I have a balance when there was $200.00 left on my warranty?? Who knows. So I paid the ridiculous balance and drive the truck off the lot only to find the job was done incorrectly. The truck smoked like crazy and was leaking oil onto the exhaust. I took it back to them complaining and was told it was like that just keep driving it and see if it gets better. Not to mention when I first picked the truck up they had ran something over during a test drive and flattened my rear tire. I was told the tire was like that until the owner got involved and called another shop to have it repaired. Now I'm stuck with a $400 tire that is patched on the inside. Along with the second repair they damaged my oil pressure sensor so now when driving the truck will all the sudden drop oil pressure and ding as if there is a problem. Needless to say I left out of ammco with more issues than I started with. I would never recommend these folks for anything not even a simple oil change because if they damaged something they won't take responsibility for it. Best advice I can give is find a better garage.

Took our truck here and wished we hadn't. First off the lady that communicates for the shop has trouble remembering the things she says, I would highly recommend recording every single word out of her mouth. Secondly the work that was performed had to be redone to some extent as once we did get the vehicle back it smoked and smelled like burning oil so we had to take it back for them to redo the gaskets because it was pinched and leaking on the exhaust. They ran something over during the test drive and the guy that did it told me "oh no that was already there" we had to get the owner involved to get our tire fixed at another shop. All in all my suggestion is to find another shop if it's anything other than oil changes. Don't forget record the lady in the office she forgets what she says and everything that's wrong was already wrong even if it was caused by the hacks there.

I am not one to leave reviews but I was beyond pleased with the treatment I received from Ms. Cindy and her staff! They are honest and very thorough. They were able to diagnose my problem and give me options which led to far better results. I am so happy I took my car to them. I feel like I am driving a new car! I definitely recommend going to AAMCO in Greenville you won’t be disappointed!

Cindy and the shop guys are awesome. Just got my brothers' oldschool Jap lux car back from there for the second time. 1st time I was shaking the dice that the really bad sound and vibration in this car I bought was a bad water pump. To get to the water pump, you have to remove timing belts. Talked to a wrench who had seen that motor before. He said, yeah, used to see them all the time. Cindy setup the time. (Which she is awesome at!) Dropped off the car, and picked it up the next day.

They are awesome. I replaced my transmission in my pathfinder at a reasonable time, and they take multiple extended warranties. Great company, and the customer service lady has a great personality and stays in contact while your vehicle is with them

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional team at AAMCO in Greenville, North Carolina. After recently moving from South Africa, we bought a Jeep from a dealership in Raleigh but began experiencing issues within a month of ownership. With limited technical knowledge, we turned to AAMCO for repairs. Cindy and her team at AAMCO went above and beyond to fix our vehicle, which was not an easy task given its overheating issue. When the problem persisted, the owner, George, stepped in and ensured that our Jeep was returned to us in top condition. I cannot praise the excellent service we received from everyone at AAMCO enough. It's rare to find a company that places customer needs first. I highly recommend anyone who faces vehicle issues to visit their local AAMCO repair center. You won't regret it. Once again, a big thank you to the entire AAMCO team for their exceptional service

I am a student, my parents live out of town. The people at AAMCO made it really easy for my car to be serviced and have my parents take care of the bill over the phone. They explained everything to me and my parents clearly. I definitely recommend any student from ECU or the community college give these guys a try. My parents are happy they have found someone they trust with my car while I am so far away from home.

Because of an experience my husband had here with a transmission repair several years ago, I took my car in for what I thought was a transmission problem. As it turned out, I was wrong. After much checking, they sent me on my way with no bill at all. Their honesty was amazing, considering that I was willing to shell out about $3000 for a repair. Every one was courteous and extremely helpful. I would recommend them to anyone. Nice people, great service.
