Steven was SUPER helpful. He not only helped me with the cash machine but allowed me to unload when I was 7 minutes late and he even helped me unload my trailer!! This is the Best Recycling place in our area and it made me feel good that he asked about my Dad. Community has always been everything to me.
Was worried about going here after reading the reviews, but we arrived at 4:10, and the guy came right out and gave clear instructions. Dumped some steel and aluminum, and got the going rate. No issues.
I went to the u pull it part and was really impressed with how clean and well put together it was. The vehicles are spaced well and the area is clean so getting to the cars is very easy.
I love to recycle my cans here and this place is always great. The staff are always friendly and kind and I am glad we can make the world a better place by recycling!!!
I just got a whole 19 cents a pound for copper light ballasts. I think that’s wrong. Tried to ‘chat’ but had to CC pay a fee to get an answer which I never got.
Man I can not stress to you enough how important it is that you drive the 45 minutes if you can to go to Wilmington or to go to Pollocksville to take your recyclables Bay will pay you trash for your copper even if it's clean and if you have computer circuit boards that are traced with gold they still only want to pay you $3 a circuit board and I'm talking a pound. Go out of town and get your metal recycled and take your copper and circuit boards this is a smack in the face to Onslow County citizens who are going around beautifying and making the community nicer by picking app scrap metand recycling set things so that they can be turned into other useful objects period go to Wilmington go to Pollocksville if you're gonna recycle anything the other place in Anglo county j and e has just the same prices and is owned by the same greedy people
I would like to give negative stars, but I dont have that option.
Today was my 2nd trip to Foss to recycle aluminum drink cans and cat food cans. The first time we were told the labels had to be removed from all of the cat food cans. It would be nice if this was noted somewhere on the website.
With the hours they are open, it is hard for working people to come in. Today, I had time. I raced over there, pulling in at 4:20. I was waved off by Debo and told they were closed. He said they close at 4:15. I advised him that the website says 4:30. Then I received some runaround explanation about them still being open, but not really open. That when the gates are closed, they are closed. Well, somehow I drove right through the open gate.
I asked to speak to a manager. He called Samantha from his cell phone. I explained to her the same thing I explained to him. I said that she could either take my aluminum or I wouldn't be back. She said to just not come back then.
And I absolutely won't. This kind of customer service is taking over nowadays, and I won't have any part of it.
If you won't take people after 4:15, THEN POST IT WITH YOUR HOURS!!
You have wasted my time and energy twice now, not to mention adding my vehicle exhaust to our air, and wasting my gas!!
I don't recycle for the money. I recycle for our planet!! I would think as part of a recycling company, you guys would care a little more yourselves!!
Maybe you can pull your heads out, have a little courtesy for your customers, and fix the hours on your website!!
