I’ve used Intracoastal towing a couple tomes before in the past with good experiences. But this morning I called them several times and nobody ever picked up the phone. Very surprising for a Saturday morning. Called another company and they picked up first ring.
Great people. Extremely reasonable! Picked me up late at night stuck on the side of the highway without gas! Thanks again intercostal!! Choose these guys if you’re in need of towing or roadside help in NC coastline area!
Intercoastal towing was a game changer for both my vehicle and my wallet. I took my vehicle to a well known automotive place to get a quick oil change before heading out of town. I was approached by a mechanic who told me I would need a number of things fixed on my SUV at a ridiculous price. Because I was apprehensive to drive out of town I called intercoastal to come tow my vehicle ( for my safety and others for a 2nd opinion) . After they received my vehicle and diagnosed it . I did not need ANYTHING.. this company is the most honest, affordable and by far straight to the point with communication. For both towing and repairs... You will not be sorry! Call them.
THESE ARE GOOD PEOPLE! I haven't used their services yet but I will next time and every time. Let me tell you why...I was on MLK in route home when I realized I was almost completely out of gas. This is unusual for me but I've just been a bit distracted by busy life lately, I suppose. I didn't want to get stuck on MLK so I pulled down the next road in hopes to see a gas station somewhere close. I was in uncharted territory. I saw their shop and pulled over stressed out and asked where the closes gas station was. I suppose I could have googled it but I was just panicked and felt like I needed to speak to a human. With out hesitation they told me they would fill my tank enough to get me at least to the closest gas station. They genuinely just wanted to help. I offered paying them and they wouldn't take it. They gave me more than enough gas. I was actually able to go ahead and get back on track to home instead of going in the other direction to the closest gas station. Being kind is just so important and every single person I interacted with there was so nice especially because I felt embarrassed that I let this happen in the first place. They made me feel better by sharing their own stories of being in similar situations. I will always advocate for good, genuine and kind people and that's exactly why you will find at Intercoastal Towing and Recovery! It made my day that they could help but more importantly that they WANTED to help. I will pay back the favor 10 fold. I will go there anytime I need a service that they offer and I will send everyone I know to them. There are so many ways they could have reacted to my need for help but their visceral reaction was to genuinely be kind and sincerely help a girl out in the way they could because they CARED. Stopped in at this location as the Leland one is in the process of relocating. They were excellent, set up an appointment, took care of our car and fixed the problem. Couldn't be more satisfied!

Intercoastal Towing assisted with towing my van after experiencing transmission issues en route to Wilmington. The driver was quick and proficient and arrived within the estimated call time in a very nice and well equipped tow truck. My van was safely secured in just a few minutes and on the way to their shop.
I'd highly recommend these fellers should you be in need of towing assistance in the Wilmington area. Top notch operation and professionalism in all respects. Breaking down was a bummer but I am thankful to have found this shop.

Very pleased with Intercoastal. Called them up on Friday evening at 8pm to tow my dump truck as I was broke down 100 miles from Wilmington. Very communicative and came right away. Justin did an outstanding job. I hope I don’t have to call for a tow again, but if I do they will be first on my list.
These guys are amazing!! I had several things needing fixed. Should have been about 2100. To fix! Ouch!! Not only did they fix these problems but provided other services as well free of charge!!! All told it only ended up costing a little over 1400!!!! Patrick is very professional, and direct to the point. I urge anyone needing work to give these pros a shot you won't be disappointed.

I received fast and SKILLED service! I was met within an hour to get my 14ft box truck towed back to my house. Leland was the driver and I was SUPER impressed! He had my truck strapped up before I even arrived to the location. It was important to me to have the truck parked neatly in my driveway since it will be a few weeks before I can repair it, and Leland did just that. He EASILY got around the brick columns at the end of my driveway, and placed the truck straight and as far back as it could go. I would 100% reccommend!
Today my Jeep just stopped as I was pulling in a business, I tried everything .... nothing worked! I was so stressed .. I called Brandon @ intercoastal towing and he sent Danny to get me!!! Danny checked everything and was so nice and considerate to my problem , he towed me to ITR Auto Repair and put me into good hands!!! Within a couple of hours I was back on the road @ a very reasonable price!!! When your Dad’s gone and you divorced the ex .... sometimes a woman needs someone to help!!!! THANKS TO ALL!!
I can't say enough great things about this company! My car broke down and I needed it towed to the mechanic. I had called Tow2Tow as a lot of people use them here in Carolina Beach. I called for over 24 hours trying to get them to tow my car. A lady answered one time and said they could do it first thing the following morning and to call back at 7:00. I called multiple times from 7:00-7:30 with no response from them. Thankfully I called Intercoastal and someone answered immediately and took the information and had someone out shortly. The staff were all amazing and the price was more than fair! Will use again in the future!
These guys are great. The price was very reasonable and the service is top notch. I had gotten my Ford F-150 stuck in some mud while out on a backroad and could not get the truck to move a single inch. I then called two of my buddy’s both with Chevy Silverados and neither of them could get me unstuck. Finally we decided to give intercostal towing and recovery a call. The driver, Danny, had arrived in about 15 minutes and was easily able to winch my truck out of the mud without any issues. This was pretty unbelievable as both passenger side tires were almost completely buried in the mud. I can’t recommend these guys enough!
We had taken a weekend trip to Topsail Island and decided to stop in Wilmington for lunch on the way back to North Myrtle Beach when the ball joint busted and the tire basically came off the truck. We called Intercoastal and Randy was there in a timely manner which was important as we were in the middle of the road! He was very professional and went above and beyond to get us home! He really helped make a bad situation better for us! Highly recommend!!

I was driving from NY to my apartment in Myrtle Beach with my dog, I filled up for gas and not even two exits later I had every brake light going off. Dan and John were amazing and helped me find a place to stay. They helped me get into my car to grab my things since I couldn't get my car fixed until Monday and this all happened on a Saturday. I was having an extremely hard time tracking my car after my husband stole it! I finally located it but needed the car towed they were Joshua was not only on time I swear he was an Angel sent from God! So the lady on the phone told me it would be $35 a day to keep my car int he lot. They had it for 3 days....SURPRISE we paid around $700 to get my car out of the lot. When I called back since I was upset by the charge the nice lady explained the charges.
When my car broke down at the Brunswick Co. Wal-Mart, my wife called these folks Wilmington number. The owner apparently answered, heard her location and told her we were 5 minutes from their Brunswick Co. location, and he'd have a truck right over. Not 5 minutes later a very professional fellow named Leland pulled up in his tow-truck, hooked us up, and got us to the garage. An hour later, after 7 p.m., the owner called us back to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. These nice folks made what could have been an unpleasant situation quick and painless. Highly motivated to customer service. Recommended!
Been doing business with this place for 20+ years. They always go above and beyond the call of duty, making a bad situation (needing a tow) a lot less stressful. Anytime you call they will ve there. Also very fair prices on tows and minor repairs are done quick and correctly. Wont ever stop using Intercoastal! Save their number now you never know when you might need them!
By far best group of tow operators in the area. They are courteous and efficient. The wait can be a little long sometimes but sometimes it's better to wait than make haste decisions. I had to wait for a little over an hour but the driver remained in contact the whole time. Would definitely use again. Great job guys n gals.
I spoke to the owner to come and tow my vehicle to dealer for a warranty issue. He gave me a great rate on the towing. When his driver Leland showed up he was incredibly polite and very knowledgeable. He made me feel comfortable about Intercoastal towing my vehicle. These guys are awesome. The axle on my boat trailer broke, I was in a tight area with trees all around, and I was questioning weather or not the boat and trailer could even be towed. They took there time and did a good job of getting it loaded. They even brought in a second tow truck to unload it to ensure no damage was done. They were on time, courteous and did a great job. If you are in a bind I would highly recommend these guys.
