My brand new Subaru would not start this AM. Called roadside assistance and Thomas did the tow to the dealership. Holly called a few minutes after I requested the tow and confirmed the details. Marcus came and picked up my car and me as a ride along. Great conversation with a proud US military veteran. Would not hesitate to recommend these guys.
The best in Wilmington, NC..... hands down! I've had to use them several times over the past several months. Professional, punctual and courteous. Mr. Thomas is a great owner with an exceptional staff of employees. I appreciate all the help they've given me with my vehicle.
Polite dispatch, driver was quick to get to me, careful with my vehicle and friendly. They did it all for a fair price, in fact the best I recieved from several calls. If I need a tow again, I will be using their service again.

Excellent service provider! I Worked with Chris on a medium truck NEED and his experience was highly valuable, going above and beyond with finding solutions that were safe and quick. Everyone at the company I worked with was patient and fast to respond. The skill level is clear with all staff, and they might just have the cleanest trucks in the area.

My old truck (my baby) has been towed 2x for mechanical issues over the years. They are prompt, courteous and extremely efficient. I recommend them way over and above any other company in town. Tom and crew/family are top notch. I'll never go anywhere else!
Thanks Holly for being so helpful over the phone and thanks Chris for doing all the heavy lifting. He got here within a reasonable timeframe for the time of day, and was nice enough to drop off the keys for me at the tire shop because I couldn’t get there right away. Very thankful I was treated with kindness and professionalism during a time when it’s tough to be patient.
Would 100% recommend this company. I called Saturday morning to have my car towed, and the receptionist stated there was one call in front of me, but it was in town and shouldn't be more than an hour wait. I explained to her my situation, that it could be dangerous for me to wait that long. I'm not sure what they did to rearrange the towing order, but I got a call from the tow truck driver stating he'd be to me in 15 minutes. He was! He loaded my car onto the tow truck and took it to Seaside Tire and even dropped my keys into the drop box for me. Thanks y'all!!

I unfortunately had a flat tire while visiting Wilmington for my daughter’s orientation! Had to call for a tow and was super nervous about the whole thing but TJ showed up and was very comforting and helpful ! Made me feel so much better …best experience with a tow truck company. Thank you TJ!
Quoted my husband one price then charged us double and did not explain why. The tow was only 3.5 miles and they charged over $400. He called them to talk to the manager for clarification who never called us back. He will no longer use them for personal or business use.
Actual amount debited to checking account was $405, on 4/9/2025
Was informed on the phone that they would "look into it" by contacting the person that dispatched my call and get back to me later in the week.
Explanation was that since the location was the 4x4 beach access at Kure Beach, that the price started at $250 plus the cost of the unlock, which was $164. However, that extra charge was not discussed at the time of the initial call, and, the dispatcher was aware of my location when I called.
If the dispatcher gave me a price of $164, that is unfortunate, but does not make it my mistake.
Somewhere in the processing of the charge to my debit card, the charge was changed from $164 to $405, WITHOUT my authorization.
Update: Thomas Towing refunded the extra cost very quickly. So am very pleased with the outcome.
Breaking down is never a fun experience, but the folks at Thomas Towing & Transport made it so much less stressful of a process. Tyler was extremely helpful as he handled our phone calls from two different states as we shared our information. I cannot say enough positive things about the driver, Daniel, who not only took great care of the car, but was able to put me at ease after such a stressful situation. I hope we don’t need towing anytime in the near future, but if we do, I’ll certainly be contacting Thomas Towing and Transport again. Thanks to your entire team for your incredible service!
Had a flat tire on stuck on side of the road. Put spare on and it was flat. Joe showed up to take us to tire store and a Great guy. Hope I never need a towing company but if we do, we will for sure call Thomas towing and hopefully get Joe again. Great customer service.

Thomas Towing arrived early Monday morning after a flat tire left me stranded. Extremely professional and interesting to talk with, Alan handled the situation with great care. Thankful my insurance connected me to this trustworthy company. Highly recommend.
Nobody's excited to need a tow, but this went about as well as you could hope. My driver Daniel was friendly and helpful, and even agreed to make a slight detour so I could drop my surfboard off at my house instead of having to send it the shop on top of my car. I'd be happy to use these guys again if I needed to.
Absolutely proper towing company! I ran into a situation with a blown head gasket on my jeep that was sitting in a parking lot and they were able to help me out immediately! All the ladies that take your phone calls are beyond kind and extremely respectful, so treat them well! 100% honesty on prices and services and extremely helpful!
Then onto Daniel (my tow truck/transport driver)… he was one of the most down to earth, realest people I’ve come across in a long while! He went above and beyond to help me out when I was struggling. Great person to have a conversation with, treated me like a normal person with zero arrogance, extremely knowledgeable, had solid advice and again… WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO HELP ME! It was like talking to a good friend, that’s how comfortable this experience was.

Very grateful our insurance went through this company. They ended up towing our vehicle 2x (once from where it had stalled from storm flooding to our home and then from our home to the service shop), and everyone involved was extremely efficient and made a very difficult situation go as seamlessly as possible. Communication was seamless from those involved in the office as well as the drivers, who were very kind and hardworking people. Shoutout to Dakota and Daniel for smooth and effective towing as well as simply being great people!
We had just finished a week long vacation in Surf City on 31 August 2024. After we finished loading the SUV for the 5 hour drive home, we discovered our battery was dead. We called GEICO who dispatched Thomas Towing and they arrived in less than 20 minutes and helped get us on the road. The driver provided us directions to the nearest auto zone for a new battery which we needed since the battery was almost 6 years old. I am very impressed with the service we received.
Completely Amazed at the level of service that I received. Starting with the person working in dispatch. She was friendly, answered all the questions that I had, and assured me that I would be taken care of promptly. Then Zach, The Tow Professional (and I don't use the word professional lightly) arrived, shook my hand and introduced himself, then proceeded to load my car onto his rig like it was his own. I appreciated all the info he gave me and how me and my vehicle were treated from start to finish. The charge for this level of service was more than reasonable. I expected to pay a great deal more. Keep in mind all of this was happening on a Sunday morning. Thank you to all at Thomas Towing.
If I could give no stars I would. I needed a tow just a couple miles and set it up through my insurance. I got a call for confirmation saying they would pick up my car in about 90 minutes. I then got another phone call saying they could not get up with the shop where my car was. Thomas towing needed to verify that I did not have a bill where my car was at. I completely understand that however when they called to tell me they could not reach them I confirmed the number and told them if there were any problems to call me back. I then reached out to the shop where my car was parked and gave them the number for Thomas Towing. I never heard anymore until a couple hours later when I called to verify that my car had been picked up. It had not!!!!! The next morning I had never heard anything and my car was still sitting in the same place. I ended up making other arrangements. Here we are 4 days later and still have not had any contact with Thomas Towing. I am a single mom with two young kids and work my butt off and this company just didn't want to drive from Wilmington to Burgaw. DO BETTER!!!!!!
I had a flat tire. I couldn’t get one of the lug nuts loose. So I used my roadside assistance through my insurance company. Thomas Towing and Transport arrived. The driver who came to fix my flat was very professional and knowledgeable. He came prepared and knew exactly what to do to get the lug nut off. I will be saving this company in my contacts for future reference if I’m ever in need for any assistance they may provide.
Dispatch was amazing and very patient with my calls in a panic. Ultimately the tow driver saved me a ton of money by helping me remove a part that was dragging. What could have been a very large expense and a not so great vacation turned into something very simple with his help. Driver was nice and courteous. Thank you Joseph!
Got a flat tire on the side of the highway right outside of Holly Ridge. I felt silly when the tow truck driver discovered my spare tire, but he was so kind and let me know it was flat also. Very nice driver, friendly and they responded within 15-20 minutes of getting the call. Highly recommend this company and I don’t hope to need to use them again but if I do need help again I hope I’m in the same area. Thank you so much you really saved my day! Godbless.
CJ was wonderful and made sure we understood all options available to us. He has a kind spirit and warm personality. While I hope I do t need towing services anytime soon, if I do, he will be my very first call.
Thomas himself came to assist me in my truck tow and what started as an extremely stressful situation was lightened significantly with Thomas's arrival. Very professional but friendly and down-to-earth. He's a genuine good guy and I can only imagine he staffs the same kind of personality. Nothing bad at all to say about my experience.
