The absolute worst company ever!!!!! Unprofessional and extremely empathetic. Towed someone car I know for the sticker not being 2026 while the sticker was in the mail which is legal. (According to the DMV) When asked could they reduced the tow fee being that the car was actually legal they came back and said no because the sticker should have been on the car. Also followed by saying "you people" come in trying to...Never in my life have I ever been referred to as "you people". Then told me not to come in playing "Lawyer" because I said they illegally towed a car that was legal. Currently in the process of getting a news story on this company and the greed for money and lack of communication and empathy they have for people. This company should not be in business.
Definitely scammers they took my car bc I didn't have my 26 sticker on my tag but it was in my car i just 4got to put it on, when I get to the place my car was waay in the back like i wasn't coming for it I heard they hope u don't come get ur car so they can sale it and they do have cars out front for sale. They think they're law enforcers. More like crooks n scammers. Ppl watch out for this towing company very shady PERIODT!!
Scam business. The pass is a lousy piece of paper and it blew out of our truck. I chased it down and almost got hit in the meantime. It was right on the center of our truck. If you looked inside, you can CLEARLY see it. But the idiot I spoke to on the phone deemed that not enough. So here we are wasting half of our day to pick our truck up and spending almost $300 between the tow and uber. What a joke. Make sure to tape down the pass to your dash and take photo proof and maybe a video because I think they just like to get your money. Don’t respond with an apology because the guy I spoke to on the phone made it very clear that they could care less. We visited Carolina beach a few years ago and it was one of our favorite trips. This will be the last time we visit sadly. Day one and our week is pretty much ruined.
my jeep was towed on Saturday. i picked it up monday. i paid $350 and after I left a guy called me back and told me I owed 50 more dollars. they definitely take advantage of everyone they can.! they broke my mirror on my Jeep and it had been gone through the back latch is broken. law enforcement has been contacted.
Like the Tooth Fairy, they come in the middle of the night to take what belongs to you. Dont expect to find a dollar for your troubles but rather an over priced bill charging you for their late night antics. They suck the soul out of what could have possibly been a great vacation by roaming from hotel and condo to parking garage, looking for any misplaced parking passes. Dont worry though, they feel really bad for what they are doing so please dont say anything that could be perceived as you passing judgment on them. Ignore the fact that the person on the other end of the phone talks to you like you're an idiot and yells at you like you're a dog that just took a crap on the newly installed carpet.
If you're looking for a good time, this isnt the company for you. If you're looking for a lesson in morals and parking edict instructions, Rosack is the man for you. They dont lead by example but can tell you how.
To the man that removed the boot from my vehicle, Im sorry I hurt your feeling by expressing my displeasure in the company you work for. The few words that I said in a very calm voice was much better than the way I was treated by the man on the other end of the phone this morning. If you're worried about how you are perceived, work for a better company with higher standards and if you don want to hear the thoughts of others, dont ask.
My car was towed from my apartment. They blocked my number when I tried to contact them. I will be making a police report. I should add I was given a sticker. Told by dv program director to NOT PUT STICKER ON CAR due to situation and that my car was added to a list of cars to NOT TOW. Then they didn't give program director an eta of when thej would return car. They finally returned my car, but almost parked it down the street. I had to run them down and ask to please park in front of my building. I dropped kids off at daycare 5 hrs LATE because they wrongfully towed my car. Missed a kid dr apt. Along with other important responsibilities in just that short, crucial time.
This is not a family oriented company. They gave no apology.

My friend is in a domestic situation. She's in domestic housing and was told not to put any type of marking on her vehicle that can identify where she stays so that her husband cannot find out. Somehow there was a mix up with the office and the tow truck company. The tow truck company towed her vehicle and now when I called and when she called whoever the guy that answered was so rude and basically said it was her fault even though I explained the situation to him. He could care less that a single mom would five kids now has no way to get her kids to the doctor's office today. Not even making up the bit about the doctor's office to make this seem worse. When my friend called she was hung up on and her number was blocked. The guy could have cared less about getting her her vehicle back because they're not getting any money from this situation. He told me when I called that they would get to it when they get to it he don't have an ETA of any type. No wonder their reviews are so low. As a community we need to come together and not do business with people like this. Definitely contacting WECT after this post is made.
This is definitely a scam business. We are on vacation. Had my parking pass displayed hanging down from my visor, because the 40mph winds would blow it off the dash. They only looked on the dash, didn't see it and towed my car. When my husband got there to get my car. He picked it up from the visor and showed the guy...his response...I only pick cars up. So stinking crooked. My pass was clearly there but still had to pay $260 to get my car. Definitely a scam. This town is also horrible for its parking and the tickets. We have come to Carolina beach for many years and have witnessed the money seeking from parking and now towing, with no sympathy from the town or the towing company. This will definitely be our last year and they've gotten their last dollar from us. So sorry for anyone else that has or will have these experiences. So long Carolina Beach. We will spend our money elsewhere.
Can’t even ask them a question, because you genuinely want to understand, without being yelled at, only to be told they aren’t yelling as they continue to escalate. Predatory tower, stay far away from this place! Oh and price is no longer $300, it’s now $400.
They just pull in the parking lot and hook up to your vehicle for no reason. Got real money maker going for them. Hope they lose everything they have. Do not stay at Sea Colony. You’ll be taking a huge risk.
Horrible place they cracked my coolant hose and when I pour coolant in my car just drains right out. Must have scraped the ramp when the pull it up on the tow.
One star isn’t low enough. They came in the middle of the night took my bike with no warnings and made a bunch of rules and fees. Next thing I know getting it back costed over 1000$!!! Ended up unable to get it back due to how much the fees were and they auctioned it off. Absolutely horrendous people.
We are seeking legal action towards this company, google says they are closed on Saturdays but they are actually OPEN ON SATURDAYS and instead of updating the correct info they want people to think they are closed so they can continue to add more money on to pick up fees. This company has YEARS of horrible reviews, they have also been on the NEWS for their horrible service. We all need to come together to have this company SHUT DOWN!

I had a great experience with you guys they did not scam me idk why people say this is a scam, I talked to the guy by the phone he treated me with respect and he didn’t lied to me, he just told me what the price was. You guys deserve better costumers people love to hate and talk crazy about other people

$50 a day storage and immediate bad attitude when you call.. plus they don’t take credit cards smells of tax evasion.
When you call they say 5pm is when they close. The sign says 7pm.

After the massive rain storm in August of 2024 Rosak's Towing was charging local residents of where THEY too reside and own other businesses exorbitant amounts of money to be towed only blocks. Stay away from Rosak's towing. They price gouge.
My car was stolen and abandoned. They towed the "abandoned" vehicle and towed it then waited 10 DAYS to run the VIN and discover it was stolen. I was fine with paying the tow fee but they tacked on 10 days storage to the bill as well and refused to give the car back unless I paid it. Police said it was out of their hands because legally they had 10 days to report it.
They towed my vehicle while I was on vacation…charged $250 plus a convenience fee of $10 to get my vehicle back Then the guy forgot to give me my drivers license back! And they could not tell me when someone would be in the office to get it back! Unprofessional …making money off of tourist! non empathetic owners!

Never once have I ever gotten towed from ANY rental, restaurant, beach access, etc. here in Carolina and Kure. Never have I gotten towed in my life, period, for improper parking.
BUT We tried new condominium group here in Carolina Beach, called Sea Colony.
This Heartless Towing company was coming around on a Sunday during check in time and towing vehicles that hadn’t gotten a chance to put parking passes in the car window yet. I have a valid pass for the day it was towed. I have my three little kids and am vacationing as a single mom. He towed a mini-van.
After trying to plead my case about all of this, all the owner could say was you didn’t have a parking pass there, not my problem.
Way to ruin the one vacation stay for this single mom and her 3 kids. $300 later a 20 min Uber ride, waiting there for them 20 mins (after I gave them a heads up I’d be there in 30 mins), 20 mins back to the condo, not to mention all the heartache and mood killer this was, when my kids and I were supposed to be on the beach for vacation.
Sea colony and Rosaks must have a deal going.
DONT stay at SEA COLONY!
I will be talking to the Better Business Bureau about them. This isn’t the end of hearing from me. From the reviews it seems like I’m not alone in my experience.

Beware of this scam! My car was towed from a street side parking area in front of 7 Mile Post… owned by thieves! Per the New Hanover Deputy the towing.. this $$$ contract is between the local business and Rosak's Towing & Recovery service. Quick cash to be made and no legal recourse . So 7 Mile Post vehicles illegally towed and detained for a $300 CASH only payment!!! The entire row of vehicles was towed tonight. Thats quite fast, dirty profit for these businesses. No parking meters, no signs stating not to park, no business signs, not a private parking lot, not metered parking …… literally nothing illegal in parking in this area. Stealing vehicles is now legal.
The people who own this company are incredibly kind. My car got towed at 7 mile post last night. It was my first time ever experiencing my car getting towed. The guy who helped me was quick to meet me when I called to get my car. You need $300 in cash, so don't make the same mistake I made and come with a card. The convenience store two buildings down has an ATM. The guy who helped me was willing to wait for me to go withdraw the money. I really appreciated how patient and kind he was while I figured all of that out. Like I said, this was the first time I'd experienced being towed so I didn't come prepared. It was a stressful situation, so I was grateful for a patient and kind person while I figured out the cash situation.

Got my car towed from the family dollar parking lot (parking lot attached to bowstring’s brewery) there was an event going until 2 am. I WAS WORKING AT THIS EVENT. They towed my car around 1:50. The towing fee was a whopping 300$. Now I’m not sure if I can make my rent! Thanks so much ROSAKS TOWING ): my mom and I are thinking of taking them to small claims court. I actually had bought something from inside the family dollar so I was a customer anyways. If the fee was 200$ or less, I would not be leaving this review. Even 250 would be insane but 300$ is RIDICULOUS !!! I never would have expected it to be that much. What a rip off. Terrible! Totally ruined my entire month. Will have money problems all month because of this ridiculously high fee.
For everyone saying it was $250.00 to reclaim their cars, I'm wondering why myself & members of our volunteer group were charged $300.00 today to our cars back at 4PM. My self and representatives from our community wellness group were attending a volunteer event at the bar next door. The event was held by UNCW & was manned by many college student volunteers, Community mental health centers and advocacy groups for child abuse prevention, therapy, addiction treatment and free psychiatric resources for students & community member alike.
The theme was promoting sober & healthy minds. Parking was scarce because the company lot was full of vendors. So while we worked the event, the tow company took that opportunity to tow the cars of us volunteers that were unloading to participate.
The gentleman from Rosens was not rude, he was more sympathetic, but charged even these kind college students $300.00. Special thanks to the adjacent Family Dollar "manager" with the red hair who called them and then laughed as we were all towed, telling us she would sleep well tonight knowing we got what we deserved.
I’m not usually one to leave reviews. I get it. The job is towing cars. People will be unhappy and that’s just how it goes sometimes.
In this case, it wasn’t my car. I was just trying to get it back for a friend, the towed car didn’t impact me. Their service is worse than terrible.
If you’re any business thinking of employing these guys, please don’t. There are so many more towing companies in town with better service and reviews. Don’t cut costs for your business and hire a shotty company with terrible service.
Was on vacation and had my car towed by these clowns even though my parking pass was fully visible on my dash. When I called, I spoke to Robert who identified himself as the manager. I explained to him what had happened and he was not interested at all. He became very aggressive and rude. I asked him if he was an owner of the company and his response was that my question had nothing to do with the situation. After picking the car up and noticing that the lower spoiler was broken, he advised me that it was impossible for them to have caused the damage even though it was very obvious that they were responsible. This company is run by goons and in my opinion should be criminally charged. After reading other reviews, this seems to be a practice and not a mistake.
I plan on looking into this company and taking action. Dirty people who prey on others need to be stopped and held accountable.

Again, "she" is not a cleaning lady, we were there on vacation as I stated. I have a question though, if your driver saw her, why would he not say anything to her and just leave? Granted a scammer or a criminal would flee, but it is odd that a legitimate business would have stayed and had a conversation. Your other reviews say similar things as I am saying. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck.... We will have additional correspondence with you and your company.
VERY,VERY,VERY,UNPROFESSIONAL & Highly disgustingly Rude! Me and my family waited over an HALF AND HOUR ( Still waiting ) to pick up a vehicle! I’m very disappointed this is a towing company that’s even still allowed to tow cars & is still in business. They highly don’t care as long as there receiving there money towards the business. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Safe notice be careful with your cars. (they also respond disrespectfully)! This place should definitely be shut down! Not to forget to mention they stole money out of one of my cars. God does not like evil and they will reap what they sow! My lawyers are in motion towards this business.
If I could give this company a negative rating I would. Complete predatory towing practices. We were loading our car to leave our condo from our vacation. We took our parking pass up to the condo to leave for the owners as instructed and in the 10 minutes we were gone they swooped in and hooked up our car. Refused to unhook it without paying $250 on the spot despite me putting them on the phone directly with the condo owners, calling the main company office, or even after the police showed up. This company should be shut down.
Currently planning with one of my good friends, a judge of NHC to sue this company. They illegally towed my car after I have audio proof of their employee telling me once before that the specific space I parked in was a 2 hr space, but when I parked there again said it wasn’t and I needed a pass. The. When I called the owner told me I was wrong and that it wasn’t and was very rude to me. The space clearly said visitor and had a pole that is supposedly a two hour space marker but the employee told me once before that the sign was damaged, but it was still a two hour space. So I will surely be taking this matter up with the court house. They charged me 200 to get my car out. This is the second time this has happened and I sent pictures of the space along with audio recordings to the judge and he said they were clearly in the wrong. This company is the worst group of people to deal with. If I could give them no stars at all it’d still be dishonest because this business should be shut down immediately not only because of illegal towing but also because of the way they talk to and deal with people. My judge friend said that this isn’t the first time he heard about this company and that each one of the employees will get a background check because this company has had a lot of reports filed against them.
