This company has cost our small business so many problems in so many ways. Over the course of a year from dealing with them we have spent so much money with them on our truck but for some reason the problem was never resolved causing us to keep coming back. After fixing our airline for $1600 we broke down 3 days later and was charged $700 for them to come out and make it right. Getting a straight answer about invoices is like pulling teeth! Calling non stop and being told to wait for days.They seem to be kind and helpful on the surface but beneath are calculating, rude, disrespectful and unreasonable especially the owner who told us "Trust me you will need a tow and when you do we won't be towing you again" just because we requested a discount due to their astronomical pricing. In all of my years of experience I've never experienced such horrible mechanical services.
BE WARE! Money hungry,Overpriced, unreasonable, misleading and terrible time management and customer service skills. Experienced continuous truck issues after bringing my truck here multiple times.I've noticed that every time I take my truck here there's something wrong with another part of my truck. My personal mechanic found a defective governor part and fixed it for me costing me more money than I already spent. Find another mechanic shop in town who has integrity cause you won't find it here. ( I will upload a photo when I find it)
I am truly grateful for Bryant and Sons fast and affordable services. My commercial box truck had an issue driving. I called them right before they were closing, and they sent someone out within the hour. They repaired my issue, and got me moving again!! Ty Ty!

Heard a *new* clunking under my front end and called Bryant & Sons to see if they could check it out. Shawn came out to the hotel we were parked at, found the problem quickly, located the part and replaced our tie rod expertly and timely. Truck wouldn’t start. Tech showed up and found the problem in 5 minutes and fixed it. A bolt backed out of ground wire on starter. Owner didn’t charge me a dime for it. Really good and fair shop. Thank you for all your help.
Good honest mechanics that fixed a simple problem another mobile mechanic couldn't.. reasonable prices,would highly recommend this shop in the wilmington nc area....
Nice people. Had a radiator leak on a truck and they looked at it on short notice. Identified the source of the leak and didn't charge. No bs whatsoever. Truck needs a new radiator, they didn't try to sell the job though, no sales pitch at all. So they seem honest.
Just decked one of our trailers onto another trailer, THEY ARE AMAZING! They have great communication with us. Kept us informed when they were on their way. Quick response time. I would definitely recommend their services. Also, prices EXTREMELY FAIR!!!!!! Will DEFINITELY be calling them again if we ever need help in the area again!!!! Thanks Bryant's and Sons!!!!!
This is a great family owned business. The staff are very kind and straight forward when it comes down to you and your truck. I've had my truck here numerous times. I recommend all of there services. They have came out to me a couple of times also.
Shoddy in competent mechanics charged me $1000 to replace a fuel pump and they installed it backwards, would fix it or refund me my money Took it to Saunders fleet maintenance they replaced it for $500 buyer beware Bryan n sons are crooks
Pretty good! They've done some work on company trucks I drove in the past. So I trusted them to do a few things with my tractor as well. With how backed up the industry is these days, it felt good to have a 2 day turnaround with them. Most other shops in the area were working a week in the hole.
I don’t see why the negative reviews. I’ve been to Bryant and Sons multiple times for issues with my truck and every time I’ve been in I’ve spoke to multiple techs and the ladies at the counter and I’m spoken to not like a customer but a friend. I appreciate a real shop who wants to make its customer happy and feel like everyone got a good deal. I will continue to go here and recommend others to them as well.
Went in to get fuel filters replaced. After 3 different sets of filters, air locking the fuel system each time, they finally got it started. Then comes the bill, outrageous! I could buy 2 cat filters for what they charged me for one wix filter. The people were very polite, but their methods and pricing leave your pocket empty. I won't recommend them.
They have road service. Been here two or three times with no appointment. They were fast. The people always go out of their way to explain and to be helpful. I have spoken to about five different people and all are equally eager to explain and help. They are thorough. Rates seem fair. To the person who gave 1 star...maybe someone was having a bad day. I can't imagine these folks being rude. I don't know if they are ASE Certified. But I don't typically need any major work done. Their garage seems to be popular with drivers....constant stream of customers.
Took my truck in to have my high pressure fuel pump replaced and some other additional items. I furnished all the parts. The labor they charged me to replace the pump was an astronomical price. I do believe the mechanic had a learning curve on my truck. After the repairs were made I drove the truck for a couple of days and experienced the worst exhaust gas odor in my cabin. The mechanic failed to install any gaskets for the exhaust work performed. I also had a very bad diesel fuel odor from under the hood and experienced coolant leaking from under the engine. My "low coolant" display kept popping up in my panel display. I had to keep filling up the radiator with coolant. I took my truck back in and the mechanic kept the truck another day and told me he had everything fixed and said the coolant leak was from a leaking radiator hose and it just needed an extra clamp. They charged me another $300 to fix their screw-up, where they never made the repairs right the first time. I drove it home and as soon as I got in the driveway my " low coolant" display came back on. I checked to see where the leak was coming from and you could see a coolant trail right in the middle of the radiator. I ended up having to take my truck to another auto repair shop to have my radiator replaced. Bryant and Son's had knocked a hole in the radiator when replacing my fuel pump then lied about it and just put an extra clamp on a hose that never was leaking. I then took my truck to Bryant and Son's once again to have them check out where the diesel fuel leak was coming from. The owner got beligerate with me and denied that they had anything to do with the exhaust leak or the hole in the radiator. I do not recommend having them service any vehicles and if you do, good luck. The owner needs to learn some customer service skills. If you like throwing your money away, this is the place. Oh and the mechanic that did the work doesn't work there any longer. That was convenient, as he stole my performance tuner from my truck as well.
Not a good repair shop. Nasty attitudes, secretary will hang up on you and scream over the phone, parts late, delivery dates late, repairs will need repairing, do not use them. Your Truck will be in worst shape once you leave this place. Their work is CRAPPY and their ATTITUDES ARE CRAPPY TOO.
I love this place! They are great at repairing trucks, cars, and many other things. The people there are so nice!!! I am so so soround of my grandfather for opening and owning this company!
