I needed my car towed and my driver was Bobby I told him my car was lowered and he handled it with care couldn’t ask for a better price or a better tow.
Our boat trailer tire exploded on the highway when we were heading home.. Thank y'all for saving us on a Labor Day! Especially when people were closed on Labor Day. Trying to find a solution for us and we left the next day with no problems. You guys have great service! Thank you so much to Bobby who came to rescue us. He was very kind to us. Thank you. Brandon is one of a kind! He went above and beyond for me to retrieve my car! I was on and off the phone with him all day on a Sunday and he was so helpful, patient and knowledgeable. He really helped me in a tough situation and am so glad people like him in this industry exist! Bobby who delivered my car was so friendly too and really helped me make light of a bad situation. Awful, horrible, and disgusting people! Called them to help tow my truck from the side of the highway with a blown tire, the driver drove right past me and never stopped, then when I called the office and told them the driver passed me the office guy argued with me about it and tried to charge me a second time for someone to come back. Said screw you I’ll figure something else out, then caught them showing up 6 hours later trying to steal my truck!!! The driver was disgusting looked like he just crawled out of the bottom of the Cape Fear river and he had a lot lizard sitting in his truck with him. And they still charged me $150 for absolutely nothing! Save yourself and call Wayne’s Towing instead!!!!
Towed my car the tow truck man Dropped my car off at the mechanic any kind of way left the car in neutral killed my whole battery and the man that I spoke to to make the payment. They just seem like they care about money. I would never use this company again. Bobby was the man who towed my car
I cannot speak enough to the level of customer service and professionalism that Bobby exhibited. He was prompt, kind, compassionate, and professional. He went above and beyond to help us out, and we felt very secure that our car was being well taken care of. Thank you! I am totally amazed how Bobby and Brandon helped me when they towed and repaired my car. Bobby has worked on my car before. He quickly finds the problem and does excellent repairs. They are truly unselfish, compassionate people. They put me as a person before money. The saying goes “wanna see how people really are? Wait until money is involved”.Bobby and Brandon both showed, without a doubt, that they are honest Christian people. THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN. And I have seen a lot in 72 years.
Started calling around 5 am and at first had to cancel because the price quoted was different from what I was told. I truly appreciate the call back and prompt service especially since I waited two hours for another popular place that never showed up. Bobby the driver was very friendly and even offered to take me to the bank. He went above and beyond!!! I will use them again. Great Customer Service!!!

We broke down 3 hours from home on a Saturday evening. Within 30 minutes of calling them a truck was at our location. The driver Bobby & Ashley were great and got us home with no problems. Highly recommend.
The owner and his worker and the place I had my Audi A8 l towed to fix it stole my car. Scraped my Audi at the junk yard and kept the 22 inch rims. This is a criminal offense, the detective did nothing. Told me they were going to reimburse me for my car. When I called up the worker said it was a flood car. They stole my car. Stey far away from these thiefs
WARNING THE OWNER AND HIS WORKER ARE BOTH SCAMMERS ——read other recent reviews —-(they will take advantage of customers ) I called these guys to tow my car after i hydroplaned on the highway, they said they could tow my car to my location for $300. Instead they made up a story saying that the Highway patrol instructed them to impound my car and proceeded to charge me $600 to release it from impound and $300 for the tow. I called the highway patrol and they have no record of requesting an impound. They tried to over charge me for work that required special equipment to retrieve the car, but when I talked to the patrol officer that was on scene he said that no such equipment was used. They backed down from the $600 charge after one of the patrol officer got involved. If Anyone has any questions don’t hesitate to contact me via email.
I went to Wilmington Beach when leaving to come back to Fayetteville my car broke down I needed to tow my car home with me and my son most wanted to charge me a thousand bucks almost or said they couldn’t take me because I was in a wheelchair not only did they charge me have the cost my driver was remarkable with my autistic son made him feel so safe and calm he even made my anxiety and fear relieved and we had a great trip home and was home be for we knew it 90 miles home seemed to have flew by I want to thank that driver and his wife for coming to help me get home
Catle Hayne Towing stole my car and scraped it.. My 2000 a8l audi with 22 inch rims and tires, the rims and tires alone valued at $4000 came up .missing from.a shop I had it at. The owner told me Castle Hayne towing towed it off which the owner Brandon denied. I called the police and found out the driver had scraped my car. The detectiveve told me the owner has insurance and was willing to pay me for the car. I called up there and some guy told me my car was a flood car and tried to pay me $500. Run don't walk. Stay clear of this company.
We called and ask to have a vehicle towed to Firestone’s tires in Wilmington by 4pm. We told the person we spoke with that it had to be there no later than 4 because it was Sunday and Firestone’s said they were closing at 5. This was around 12:30. We were assured by this person that it was not a problem and he promptly took the card info and processed it on through the account. A little after 3 we sent a text to see what was going on with the tow as no one had showed up. The owner
texted back that the driver had gotten held up but no worries they could get us tires most likely cheaper than Firestone’s and they stayed open later than 4. Around 6ish no one had showed up yet. Texted again and was told they were doing all they could. A tow truck finally arrived around 6:30. We were assured that we would have tires on that vehicle that night and they would call us when it was ready as the driver loaded up the van. Around 8:30 we had not heard one word about when where to pick the van up so sent another text. The owner said it was at Blacks Tires where the driver was told to take it. Blacks Tires was never mentioned. The owner finally called after I sent a text wondering if he was running a legitimate business. We had quite a conversation. He didn’t really want to hear a word we said and kept just making excuses how things didn’t go as planed. We ask for the $150.00 back as he did not deliver services we had paid for. We were told no and that if we stopped the transaction he would have the vehicle impounded. I mentioned taking him to small claims court as a days pay will be lost tomorrow and to get the money back that he charged for the towing. He said that his lawyer that he pays $500.00 for would tell me that I didn’t have a claim since he towed the vehicle. After the conversation with the owner, the driver of the tow truck called. Guess what. The van was not even towed to Black’s like the owner said it was. I do not recommend this company at all and would have given it a zero if that was on option. How could this situation been handled differently? A simple phone call up front when they realized they could not provide the service that we had paid for instead of a bunch of excuses and also refunding the money paid so we could look for another tow company. Good customer service is key to a good business reputation no matter how many years you have been in business.
I would not recommend them to anyone. They quoted me one price on the phone and charge me a higher price after they pulled my car out of the ditch.have asked repeatedly for a receipt email to me and have not received it yet.
Brandon was the one who came and picked up my car, was very helpful through the whole process. Even calling me when there was an issue two months after the car was totalled when there was an issue with insurance to save myself from reprocussions. Great company.
I'll start by saying that I would personally recommend using a different towing service if your car ever breaks down. We were driving from Raleigh to Wilmington and our car had a tire basically fall off and they were the closest towing company to us. The company said that they would look at the vehicle and give me an estimate and wouldn't charge as much for the towing if they did the work.
The next morning, they told us what was wrong with the car. We felt a little pressured to have the car repaired because we were told they had already put work in the car to deconstruct it to be able to give us an estimate. They made it seem like the damages weren't that bad and the Wheel Hub Assembly was all that needed to be replaced, so we finally decided to have them fix it and then we had to rent a car to get back to Raleigh. They also said they would put on 4 new tires for us.
The issues began on Friday 10/25 when they said the car was fixed so I called them back, to make a payment over the phone with a credit card, he said their card processing machine was down but that we could pay via Cash app or PayPal. We didn't have the money to do that and they suggested they use another of their business' CC processing machines to accept our payment (at this point... we had no choice and I was just hoping everything would work out).
I told them that I wouldn't be able to get to Wilmington until Sunday. I had to take a bus to Wilmington from Raleigh and I texted Brandon to let him know that I was in Wilmington; at this point, he told me that my Rim was messed up so they put my spare (donut) on the car and said we would need to buy a new one. It's not their fault the rim was messed up, but the fact that I wasn't informed of the damaged wheel earlier was not a great start to the rest of the day.
When I got to the car I noticed that one of the tires (new tire) was slack so I took it to a nearby gas station to put air in it and could audibly hear a hissing sound which indicated the tire had a severe leak. I also noticed, while driving it, that there was a horrible noise coming from the area that was "fixed". I texted Brandon to let him know about all the issues and his response was that he was about to walk into church and would call me later... I told him I would have to wait for him to get out of church, so he had one of his mechanics meet me at his shop.
When the other mechanic got to the shop, he found the tire had a hole in it so he plugged the tire. Then I asked him to test drive with me so he could hear the noise. After driving he thought it was the transmission that was making the noise so he called his boss, they decided it wasn't safe for me to drive any real distance and they would need to have it looked at by their transmission guy. At this point, I was completely fed up with the situation and I decided to take the car to another shop that we had used before in Wilmington. Of course, now I'm stranded in Wilmington and had to rent a car to get back Raleigh.
The next day, the new mechanic informed me that the noise that I was hearing was coming from a bad wheel bearing in the wheel assembly (the same thing that was "repaired" by Castle Hayne Towing. Luckily the part that was purchased by Castle Hayne Towing was covered under warranty by NAPA so i didn't have to pay for the same service twice. I have now been informed that my car is actually fixed.
I'm not saying that this company ripped me off intentionally, but I just felt that the way they operate their business is very unprofessional and maybe they aren't the best at fixing more serious issues with a car. I have reached out to Brandon several times through this whole ordeal and have asked for a discount for all the hassle I had to deal with and he feels that they did nothing wrong so I guess I'll just have to live with making a poor decision by using this company and I hope that this review helps others to stay away and take their business and money somewhere else.
Awesome people totally the best in the business hands down they did work on our work truck after being screwed over by Blacks tire... Brandon is awesome he fixed our truck. He also worked on my personal car had a issue on a Saturday he came right to the rescue towed us to shop and fixed the issue. So if you need professional help on your car or truck Castle Hayne towing is the place...
