These guys got me out of huge bind today. Was pulling the jet skis to the Wrightsville Beach boat ramp and my axle broke. Needed our car towed immediately on a Saturday evening. We called Hooked-Up Towing and received an immediate, friendly response. Our car was towed within 40 minutes to an incredibly difficult place to park. It was handled masterfully and we highly recommend.
This is the first time I used a towing company that made me feel like they knew me and treated me with courtesy and promptness. Mark called me after he received the job from roadside assistance. He listened to the problem, guaranteed to get it picked up and delivered to mechanic. Next day , mechanic called they could not fix it. Had to go to dealer. Roadside assistance only had recorded msg , no option to talk to anyone. I felt overwhelmed with a weekend disaster. I called Mark back asking what I should do even though I knew he had nothing to do with my problem. He didn’t say ‘not my problem, wish I could help but can’t’. He offered to call roadside on a private line. They called me after that and explained my coverage and that I would be covered again for 2nd towing. And Mark took the assignment again because I asked for his company. He delivered it safely to 2nd destination. . He also offered to help if I needed transportation during this time, if he could. He was a very courteous, easy going, reliable young man. I hope not to have this kind of problem again, but if so, I kept his number in my contacts. When it comes to purchasing cars or needing help with vehicle problems, many businesses treat women as if we shouldn’t even be driving. I didn’t feel that way dealing with Mark. If he is an example of the rest of the staff, then they must have a heck of a reliable company. They deserve good business.
Best towing company in Wilmington right here. I have used hooked up 8 times now for work and personal vehicle breakdowns. They went out of their way last night to help get me off the side of the road after my driveshaft fell out of my pickup. Excellent customer service timely response and extremely affordable and reliable. I would not recommend anyone other then Hooked up

They parked my car facing the wrong way on a 1way , I told the driver that I’m going to get a ticket because of it. He told me he didn’t know if I would or not and that it would be fine. I received a ticket and asked for them to flip it around and they still tried to charge me $50 even though they messed up
There has been a major, dangerous obstruction on my road for almost six months now. Multiple calls to the owner, the business, and the PD did not solve the problem. A man I believe to be the owner personally took the initiative and within 24 hours the obstructions were gone. I am EXTREMELY grateful and will absolutely be using this company in the future.
I was headed home from taking my dog to the vet when I got a flat tire on the way home. I was kinda nervous because I was on the side of a busy highway with cars flying by. mark company hook up towing was right on the money with going above and Beyond helping me tonight. My truck broke down on 53 around 3 o’clock call AAA and they dispatched another company that gave me the runaround for almost 4 hours. I find out they were never coming so I called hook up towing spoke to the dispatcher explain to him my situation and he had a tow truck in route within 45 minutes. Driver showed up right on time. Was able to walk me through the whole situation where my truck was going to be stored. I would highly recommend hook up towing to anyone.

My car broke down on me tonight, while I was in route to Charlotte from Wilmington, NC. As a single mother with two small children, being stranded on the side of HWY 74 in the middle of no-where was a nightmare in itself, but then to top matters off, it was already after 10:00pm and I couldn’t get in touch with ANYONE to tow my car back to my local mechanic in Wilmington. As I was already having an anxiety attack (due to a lot personal stress and my only vehicle breaking down), I was frantically trying to figure out what I was going to do.
Then, along came Charlie. After his number was passed my way, I figured I would be sent straight to a voicemail, but miraculously he answered on the 1st ring. After explaining my situation, we had a laugh or two at my serious-lack-in-knowledge when it comes to my vehicle (and all cars for that matter) and he assured me that it was no problem at all for him to retrieve my poor old car.
Charlie was extremely kind while we were on the phone and was very patient with me as I tried to describe what was going on and where I was. He promptly retrieved my car and got her hauled to my mechanic quicker than I could have ever imagined. He not only called me once he had my car loaded up but he also sent me pictures once he dropped it off at the shop as well!
I CAN NOT express how grateful I am for his services tonight! My babies and I are back home safe and sound and I just can not believe how above and beyond Charlie went to help me this evening! I highly recommend Hooked Up towing and especially Charlie!
