My car stopped at the gas station and this is the company my road side assistance chose to do the tow. I was having it towed to a mechanic I’ve been using for a while and instead of dropping it in his shop they dropped it on the street behind his shop and when he asked the guy to put it on his lot the guy said no I have another call to go too and left. Now my mechanic has to figure out how to get the car on his lot since it isn’t starting and cant be put into neutral. Unprofessional and lack of care
It's rare to find a towing service with this high of a rating, but it's for good reason. Dakota was there within 20 mins and took care of everything from start to finish. Very reasonable prices as well. These guys are genuinely nice people and a class act. Don't look anywhere to get a tow.
Very quick to respond to the web form on their site which is AWESOME I don't know how many times I've filled out a form like that and never heard a peep. Lotta people like me who don't like phone calls and will avoid if possible. So doing this whole transaction via email and text with pretty much instant responses from Mark was super helpful for a stressful situation. So response time is A+. Tow driver was courteous and professional and early all of which I appreciate and reflects on good management. I didn't compare prices because sometimes you just don't have that luxury but I don't feel like it was high or low, but with the ease of the experience I'd definitely pay it again to have that peace of mind know I can trust them. These guys got me out of huge bind today. Was pulling the jet skis to the Wrightsville Beach boat ramp and my axle broke. I was in panic mode, called the office and they were able to come tow the skis and trailer to my preferred destination within 45 mins. Great customer service!!!!! I was in emotional distress. From dealing with my car being broken down to dealing with the attitude from a previous towing company that wouldn’t offer me help. I contacted hooked and towing and they were able to meet my needs and make me feel heard. The call rep. was very understanding and a great listener and the price was A WHOLE lot cheaper than the previous company!!!

Needed our car towed immediately on a Saturday evening. We called Hooked-Up Towing and received an immediate, friendly response. Our car was towed within 40 minutes to an incredibly difficult place to park. It was handled masterfully and we highly recommend.
This is the first time I used a towing company that made me feel like they knew me and treated me with courtesy and promptness. Mark called me after he received the job from roadside assistance. He listened to the problem, guaranteed to get it picked up and delivered to mechanic. Next day , mechanic called they could not fix it. Had to go to dealer. Roadside assistance only had recorded msg , no option to talk to anyone. I felt overwhelmed with a weekend disaster. I called Mark back asking what I should do even though I knew he had nothing to do with my problem. He didn’t say ‘not my problem, wish I could help but can’t’. He offered to call roadside on a private line. They called me after that and explained my coverage and that I would be covered again for 2nd towing. And Mark took the assignment again because I asked for his company. He delivered it safely to 2nd destination. . He also offered to help if I needed transportation during this time, if he could. He was a very courteous, easy going, reliable young man. I hope not to have this kind of problem again, but if so, I kept his number in my contacts. When it comes to purchasing cars or needing help with vehicle problems, many businesses treat women as if we shouldn’t even be driving. I didn’t feel that way dealing with Mark. If he is an example of the rest of the staff, then they must have a heck of a reliable company. They deserve good business.
Best towing company in Wilmington right here. I have used hooked up 8 times now for work and personal vehicle breakdowns. They went out of their way last night to help get me off the side of the road after my driveshaft fell out of my pickup. Excellent customer service timely response and extremely affordable and reliable. I would not recommend anyone other then Hooked up

They parked my car facing the wrong way on a 1way , I told the driver that I’m going to get a ticket because of it. He told me he didn’t know if I would or not and that it would be fine. I received a ticket and asked for them to flip it around and they still tried to charge me $50 even though they messed up

My son was stuck on the side of the road 3 hours from home due to a busted tire and bent rim from to a pothole. My car broke down on me tonight, while I was in route to Charlotte from Wilmington, NC. As a single mother with two small children, being stranded on the side of HWY 74 in the middle of no-where was a nightmare in itself, but then to top matters off, it was already after 10:00pm and I couldn’t get in touch with ANYONE to tow my car back to my local mechanic in Wilmington. As I was already having an anxiety attack (due to a lot personal stress and my only vehicle breaking down), I was frantically trying to figure out what I was going to do.
Then, along came Charlie. After his number was passed my way, I figured I would be sent straight to a voicemail, but miraculously he answered on the 1st ring. After explaining my situation, we had a laugh or two at my serious-lack-in-knowledge when it comes to my vehicle (and all cars for that matter) and he assured me that it was no problem at all for him to retrieve my poor old car.
Charlie was extremely kind while we were on the phone and was very patient with me as I tried to describe what was going on and where I was. He promptly retrieved my car and got her hauled to my mechanic quicker than I could have ever imagined. He not only called me once he had my car loaded up but he also sent me pictures once he dropped it off at the shop as well!
I CAN NOT express how grateful I am for his services tonight! My babies and I are back home safe and sound and I just can not believe how above and beyond Charlie went to help me this evening! I highly recommend Hooked Up towing and especially Charlie!
Just had a flat tire earlier today, and had to give these guys a call. Good guy Shawn showed up and helped us out with great service: professional, knowledgeable and gave good info that helped us ride safely home. Would definitely recommend these guys!
