Scheduled a pick up at 8:30 am, the tow company was suppose to pick up my car no later than 11:00. It's now 2:30 and still no one has picked up my vehicle. When I called the dispatch lady was very short with me and gave no details on or if my car would be picked up. Highly don't recommend
Driver was on the phone distracted and jumped into my lane without looking and almost ran me off into the other lane I had to jump into the suicide lane not to get hit.
Do you have ZERO stars? I was left stranded with three children for 6 hours! Every time we spoke, they said to wait another 60 minutes since they were busy. This was the company my warranty assigned us and after 6 hours, they answered the phone and said they were so busy they have to cancel.. the lady literally hung up on me as I just asked if they could give me an eta. She said “sorry ma’am … we just got too busy.” And click!
They should be discontinued!
Called for 2 people parked in my driveway. Cancelled after 35 minutes due to truck driver being busy on another job. Would much rather have them ask the truck driver first if they can complete a service before signing them up for more than they can provide…especially after I had to ask for the update on ETA after 30 minutes of nothing.
Poor customer service. I scheduled a tow through my roadside assistance service. When I 1st set it up it said it will be there at 3:05pm it went up to 3:30pm then 4:00pm. It told me at 4pm the driver will be there shortly or should be there. At 4:25pm I called because it wasn't here.
The lady on the phone just said "Things happen, your driver is helping someone. They not going to stop just to come get you."
I was like a phone call would have been nice. She just said
"We'll just call your provider and cancel.
Because of them it took 3hrs of wait time
Horrible horrible company. I scheduled a tow through National General with them a week in advance. First they contact me 4 hours later then the scheduled pickup time to tell me they are going to be there shortly, then minutes later tell me the service has been cancelled because of an "accident" (not my problem) and that they can no longer help me. No one should ever work with these people again.
I would like to D&N for taking care of my vehicle. They even contacted me to let me know there was a slight delay, and then when it was taken care of. great communication. If in the (Wilmington) area, they would definitely get a call for me if needed thank you.
The gentleman was very professional, kind , funny and definitely knew about all types of vehicles and was extremely cautious and careful with my son Mitsubishi Eclipse as it sits low . He was also courteous to not make ruts on the property or hit the well pump building while trying to pull in and out of the tight turn around between a/c unit and well pump house. Definitely a pro Castle Hayne NC

I came to Wilmington for my son’s soccer tournament and before departing Charlotte, my tire read low on air. We filled it and off we went. By the time we exited 74, it was low again. I called around and there was no one willing to fix my tire, and I found out Audi doesn’t have a spare. I came across D&N and this angel came to my rescue. Lee arrived within an hour and removed a Sheetrock screw from my tire. He plugged the hole and filled it with air. Even gave me a dinner recommendation. If he hadn’t helped this damsel in distress I would had to tow it to an Audi dealership. Thank you again Lee for saving the day!
My wife was stranded in Leland. Gear shift stuck in park but car still in drive. When the driver showed up he moved her car and temporarily fixed the car and called and told us how to fix it without spending $100's of dollars on a mechanic. I fixed it myself just like he said. He helped us more ways than one. I would definitely recommend his wrecker service to everyone I know. We all need someone in our corner we can count on in times of distress! We are appreciative.,.....
My cars brakes were messed up and I called for a tow service through my insurance. The whole process was very easy and I received plenty of updates and information while I waited. The driver was very knowledgeable and friendly. I definitely recommend this company. He helped make a terrible start to the day a little easier.
These folks were terrific. They fixed us right up and got our Subaru started without having to resort to a tow to the dealership. The driver even pointed me to an Amazon link where I could buy the same battery charger that he used. It wasn't much more expensive than the bricks we had been using, only his charger really kicked butt!
The best customer service. I had 2 passenger side flat tires. I was concerned about my rims being damaged.. He assured me they would be ok. Then made sure he protected my car rims and talked me threw everything he was doing. .The conversation was great and I felt safe and comfortable in his hands.
These people were a Godsend, contracted by my insurance company. Long story short, I avoided an accident but my brakes locked up and I was stuck on a 6-lane road full of traffic at night. Lee showed up within 30 minutes and had to figure out the best way to transport my car without damaging it since not all the wheels could move. He was so kind and caring. I am incredibly grateful for their help!
Please do not use this service provider. There customer service person who answers the phone is rude and will cancel your request for service after 4 1/2 hours of waiting. If you can't handle people contacting you to get an update for the services that were requested and was accepted by you, please find someone else to do. There is a proper way to communicate and hanging up on the customer is not acceptable. There should be a system in place to notify the customer of estimated time and needs to be provided consistently until services are provided. If you are not able to provide the service do not accept the request.
D & N helped me out with my roadside assistance call. They came in a timely manner and my driver, Lee was great. He was so kind and called to keep me posted on his ETA. Lee made this experience way less stressful. Thanks!
I locked my keys in my car at 9:00 at night in my own driveway. All I wanted to do was go to bed but I had to get my keys out so I could be on time to work in the morning. Lee showed up so fast and was so kind! He got my keys out in less than 5 minutes. I wish everything in life what this easy!

arrive in about 30 minutes. Tow driver, Lee, called me when he was 10 minutes away to confirm my location. Lee was great! Arrived quickly, great customer service and very knowledgeable. Thanks Lee and thanks to D&N Wrecker service.

This is the 3rd or 4th time I've used Ms. Nancy's (Owner) services. These guys are fast-responding and VERY friendly, especially Mr. Lee (Employee).
I hope they know they have themselves a customer for life and for as long as I live I'll always refer people to them.

They were sent by my insurance company. They communicated their timeline and were able to let me know when they were nearby. They were helpful and able to get the car going again and saving me from having to have it towed.
Roadside assistance dispatched this tow company around noon. Scheduled pick up was 2:28-2:58pm at 4:15 I recvd text stating D&N appreciates the business. I called because my truck wasn't towed yet they informed me 2 more tows ahead of me. At 7:00pm I called again and got " I was just about to call you, we can't tow it the driver quit." Very unprofessional and disorganized I could only wonder what quality of work they would provide had they performed the work.
My fiancé and I are trying again today to get one of our cars towed to an auto repair shop. Last week sometime we called roadside assistance in order to get the car towed and were told it would be a 30-45 min wait; then he received text messages saying that the tow truck was going to be delayed! We never had the car towed, due to them having to service other customers for an accident! Today we were told it'd take 40-45 mins, and just received a test message saying that is now delayed for 90 mins! (Shaking my head), just when are you guys going to tow the car!? I mean don't you have other drivers? This is ridiculous!
Like someone else mentioned, if I could leave this company 0 stars I would. I was assigned them for roadside assistance when my car broke down in the middle of the road. The eta to get to me was roughly 2.5 hours, and i had my parents come pick me up until closer to the time the tow company was supposed to be there. Nancy called me and said that they would need the keys with the car to tow it and that was fine. I work literally less than 5 minutes away from the actual tow company. My car broke down in hampstead so it would take me roughly 30 minutes to get back to my car and I told her I could be on the way with it before they dispatched someone to me. She told me that she would have to call roadside assistance and get another company to do it because they weren't going to be able to make it out there. But initially you were? You weren't going to dispatch someone until you talked to me anyway. Now all of a sudden you guys can't do it?
I ended up calling back after not getting a call from roadside assistance and it not updating and she was absolutely rude. She ended up telling me rudely that she called roadside assistance and they should have called me (to which they didn't) and if they didn't call me then I would need to call them and just hung up the phone on me. I didn't have a chance to say anything or ask anything if needed be. They need someone with better customer service skills. Would never recommend. Hopefully her attitude isn't a reflection of everyone else's.
If I could give less stars I would. I did not use this company, but I witnessed the driver of one of their flatbed tow trucks drive extremely recklessly and endangering other drivers this past week. After a driver of another car beeped when the light turned green because it was obvious to people stopped that the driver of the tow truck was busy looking at his phone or something else was distracting him he proceeded to flip off the driver and when he decided to go he drove extremely slow until the other driver tried to go around the tow truck. At this point the tow truck driver sped up and swerved into the lane the other car was in. When the other car was finally able to get around the tow truck, he sped up again and rode the tail of that car for several miles. This tow truck driver could have killed the person in the car and others around him. If I were a police officer, it would have made my day to pull this guy over and do whatever the law allowed me to do. He has no business driving a tow truck & I sincerely hope he finds a job better suited for that kind of driving. like maybe a demolition derby driver or something.
Submitted a tow request through my insurance at 7:30 AM. At 12:30 PM my tow apparently was canceled. D&N kept extending the ETA. I have never waited 5 hours for a tow before. I understand being busy and getting behind, but if you don’t have time you should just say that so I can get another service provider. Can’t get my car fixed today now.
Confirmed towing assistance and talked on the phone to confirm location and time and to say they were on the way (After about 3 phone calls by the dispatcher). While waiting was sent a text message that promptly cancelled the service and stated they would not be able to assist at all.
David came to my rescue on a very hot and humid Friday afternoon in late August. I ran over a small blade that punctured and immediately deflated my tire. He was sent by Roadside Assistance, but I would call and use David again if I were in the same situation. Rather than towing my vehicle, he was able to inflate my spare AND change the tire for me IN A GRAVEL parking lot! He was kind, patient and had a great attitude. It was evident to me that he has been doing this for a long time, works hard and takes pride in what he does. Already being in a stressful situation, it was nice that I was able to feel comfortable and unthreatened in his presence.
