If you are in immediate need go there, but if you can wait two days for a part just order it on line.

I visited this location today and all I have to say is" what parts, there's nothing left". All the cars are just bare bone frames. Was disappointed. Don't waste your time coming to this location in charlotte called pick a part.

Pull-A-Part is a very affordable option to fix your car. We all know Charlotte has bad roads and drivers. So heading here to find a part was the only alternative to ordering $1000’s in parts. I purchased a great condition hood for less than 75 dollars! This place is excellent. Great service and easy system for looking up vehicles. Definitely recommend going there for car parts and quick fixes.

I haven't visited, but the website has the wrong type of car in the picture. I was looking for a Hyundai Veloster, and it showed a Jeep.

Drove over an hour to come look at 8 different cars. They were all essentially a shell. There was nothing left to pull from any of them. I won't make that drive again. 2 stars for how organized the rows are, its easy to find the cars, and only 2 dollars to get in.

Don't say you're "open to all" on your website if you're not going to let me bring my perfectly capable and mature 13 year old son in.... because your actual policy is you must be 16 (therefore you are NOT "open to ALL.") I drove over 30 minutes from Kannapolis only to find out it was a wasted trip, and it was a big bummer to him, as he was excited to make his first trip to a junkyard. I find it so hilarious and patently absurd that he was "too young" to enter the junkyard with me, yet somehow it was an acceptable suggestion from an employee to let him stand up front...with complete strangers coming and going...while I go inside the junkyard without him! What?!?? As if I would leave my kid alone in a shady part of town with the unsettling presence of police parked out front, suggesting a history of crime in the area. What a joke. Just let parents have the discretion. Sign a waiver. Peace.

They have bad customer service they set appt to pick my car up had me waiting all day told me between 8-5 I called back about 4 to see why no one showed they said they had to 7 no call no show I call this morning and they said oh we can reschedule between 8-5 so I have to waste a whole day again and then they may not show the courtesy of calling not having someone waste a whole day would be nice but then to make a person have to wait a whole day again for something that wasn't there fault is crazy but the worst part is because we were asking questions he just hung up never again lkq for the win and they paid more

I can’t say enough good things about Ian at Pull-A-Part! I came in feeling totally overwhelmed trying to find a very specific part, and Ian immediately stepped in with a calm, confident attitude. Not only did he know exactly what I was talking about, but he also double-checked compatibility, walked me through my options, and made sure I left with exactly what I needed. His knowledge, patience, and top-notch customer service turned a stressful situation into a great experience. I know nothing about cars and he went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. If you ever need help finding the right part, Ian is your guy—he’s a total rockstar!

These people will dissect the part to its core to turn it into five different parts just so they can charge individually for every piece on the part. It’s a rip off. They rather see the parts that you don’t want thrown in the trash, then to let you have it with the part you’re buying . I got a radio bezel and this is how they charge me for it : they literally have an additional person at every register to do this dissect every part that you pull to make sure you don’t get away with anything extra. Bezel Ac vent x2 Hazard switch Clock Climate control I left all that crap. And they want to charge $32 for a shift solenoid like if it was a valve body. I just think it’s petty and most parts they charge retail what they go for online. You’ll go in there thinking you’re saving money and you might as well have bought new online. They don’t see how they destroying themselves. Worst pick your own part junkyard concept I’ve been to. By the time you drive there spent all this time walking in that Arizona dessert And those disgusting cars filled with mosquitos You will pay more than if you just bought it online and had it sent to your house. Save yourself the grief, please. Its not what it appears.

The yard is decently organized. It looked like they pick up some of the loose parts that get dropped on the ground around the vehicles. I wouldn't expect any great prices though. The parking lot is big but the yard is cleaner than the parking lot. There's a good chance you get something in your tire from the parking lot. This might pass as a good self service wrecking yard but only because of where it's located.

Very easy process, Tow truck driver was friendly and explained everything. The whole process took minutes! Perfect way to get rid of a junk car. Plus they pick it up for free!

Pull-A-Part Charlotte location. A sales representative Thomas Griffin was very knowledgeable of Pull-A-Part prices and policies he had answers to my questions immediately. Without having to look to the computer for the answer. He knew what area of the yard my part would be located. I never knew about the great deals on washer fluid and antifreeze until he told me about the product. Extremely helpful THANK YOU THOMAS

When pull apart first opened, their prices were very affordable and were priced accordingly to them being used parts but now they try to sell you used parts at the same cost you can get them brand new or they will sell them for higher, which is totally ridiculous someone, The company needs to update their pricing. I understand if you're desperate for a part and you need it today, then by all means spend your money but if not. Just buy it online. Response to Pull a part: The employees don't know which part is OEM or aftermarket, but you sell them both at the same cost..... And I remember when they use to leave the wheels on the car, even if it was a nice matching rim set. Now if the rims are nice, they take them off and sell them as a set for way higher.

Last weekend i was there getting parts for my classic car that hardly any junkyard gets them in. Went there on Thursday and Ian was there and he helped me find a golf cart to rent as i was getting some body panels. Went back several times over the course of 3 days, he was there for everything and his attitude and attention to detail to make sure the customer is happy and satisfied is what junkyards are missing and needs to come back! Ian is awesome and deserves more respect and appreciation from the management team which is do not think they care about their employees much less their VIP customers like myself and my family.

I come here pretty often, but yesterday I witnessed one of the staff start and then escalate a situation with a paying customer over 5$ after he changed the price on him. I was appalled and disgusted by the way he handled the entire situation, the rest of the staff is great but I don’t see why that man would be here representing your business dealing directly with the public with that kind of horrid unprofessional attitude. Times are hard these days, that’s why pull a part has customers trying to save money, no need to treat them less than human. If I were the owner I would look into this employees performance.

Several times before yesterday I had been to Pull-A-Part without issues and told several friends about my 5 star experience. Yesterday was the complete opposite. After hitting a deer and destroying my car hood I went there (120 mile round trip to buy one ). They had two one severely dented and one slightly rusted with pealing paint and a slightly shredded hood pad they said it cost $77.00. a fixed hood price The last one I bought from them was far cheaper and in near perfect condition. Being a grumpy old man I expressed my discontent at the price. I was told the price was set by the company. Dissatisfied I asked to talk to the Manager. I was told they had no manager. I left without the hood and left most of what I was going to buy there, and I still feel the overcharged me for the empty air filter box, that I left with. I can't see any reason to go back nor continue recommend to anyone else. Because there are only clerks to talk to. Wonder how they know their work schedule without a Manager ?

Cars are inventoried by row. You can find your vehicle by searching on their website. They will send notification out when vehicles like yours come in. Very convenient and reasonably priced.

Best place to buy used auto parts. Clean and organized facility and they rent golf carts by the hour so you can drive yourself right to the vehicle you want to pull parts from.
