We had a tire blow on the highway near this shop on a Saturday. They replaced the tire but also fixed the damage that the tire did to the wiring as well. Trustworthy and honest. Will did an amazing job and was super helpful and friendly.
Listen I don't care what you driving or how far you have to drive to get to them, Mr Reid & his team are amazing & the prices are very reasonable, better than the dealership for sure. I've been using them for a few years & I'm so glad I found them. The BEST!
We had an amazing experience at Reid’s! Our car broke down while spending the day in Charlotte and we called this auto shop for towing assistance. They not only towed our car but were able to provide the services it needed to fully repair it back! Mechanic was very knowledgeable and helpful. Would recommend this auto repair shop to anyone!

I have been bringing my cars to Reid for years. He has assisted me towing as well as repairs. He is honest and affordable and does exactly what he says he will do. He does not even advertise because word of mouth is all this shop needs. I recently had a car issue and had a hiccup with one of the employees and he called me directly to resolve the situation and even went to the shop on his day off to make sure my vehicle was done when he stated it would be. I know that I have had the hardest time finding honest mechanics. I relocated to Charlotte a few months ago and have already had two bad experiences. This place is a Godsend. Very professional and honest. Give them your business if you want to be treated fairly.
Had an excellent experience with them. Highly recommended! Wonderful, friendly staff, and they were quick to assist with short notice. Long story short, we were on our way home to Ohio from Daytona, Florida and had brakes issues with our camper. Other places couldn't schedule us in and without hesitation, they had us serviced right away. Had us back on the road on the same day!

Mr. Reid and his staff did an amazing job fixing my tire. Definitely will recommend, they make a bad day just a little bit better and we know how much that helps. If I ever need a tow they will definitely be who I call again. It’s rare finding people the genuinely cares!
I highly suggest do not use this company take a charge you and to get the hidden fees as soon as you’re going to pick up your car there’s so many things do not recommend it
I called Reid's Towing and Repair and asked for my car to be towed to the dealership. The man stated he would dispatch the call and call me when they are at the vehicle location. They never called! When I called them it went straight to voicemail of a different number. I could not leave a message due to the voicemail being full. They never called me and NEVER showed up. I can understand that they could be busy or something came up but a phone call TO LET ME KNOW would of been nice! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

My Check Charging System light came on and the car was totally dead within 10 minutes. The alternator went out and my car was stranded in Lake Wylie, SC. Called around and a lot places didn't even know when they'd get a chance to look at the car, get parts, etc. I called Reid's and they had it towed to the shop within an hour, estimated asap, and serviced for same day pickup. 5/5 service in today's tough market. Fair pricing too.
I was on vacation in Charlotte NC when on my way back home, my car would not crank! Everyone at the hotel was trying their best to be helpful, but it wasn’t successful. I made the decision to call Reid’s and they came quickly and towed my vehicle to their lot. Once I got their, I was there for less than an hour and they had already replaced my battery and had us back on the road! Everyone was so helpful and kind! Thank you all again for such excellent, affordable service!
We saw our Oil Pressure light come on our 2015 Canyon and knew better than to drive it anywhere. I saw that Reid's offers towing and repair and saw the multiple positive reviews on Google Maps so I gave them a chance. They were slammed, but still able to tow the truck from my home to the shop that morning. I was asked to text my address which I did, but didn't get a confirmation that the text had been received - so my one suggestion for improvement would be to prioritize more communication with the customer. Also - I had to call later in the day to check in as I had not heard anything and it was only then was I informed the part would arrive the next day. Anyway - they ran a diagnostic and ordered/installed a sensor but it didn't fix the problem. They then offered to tow the truck to the dealer for a more advanced diagnostic at no further cost to me. So all I paid was the initial tow and the wholesale part cost. I would have paid more to have it towed to the dealer anyway so I am happy to leave a good review for Reid's.

Update:
So the dealer spent 3 hours on the phone with GMC support and after running more advanced diagnostics realized that the crew at Reid's had correctly installed the oil pressure switch BUT incorrectly hooked the electrical wiring up afterwards. So the switch was reporting incorrect pressure as it was hooked to the AC unit. I am not an expert so probably am not explaining this correctly - but suffice it to say that Reid's may be better suited to smaller jobs. I still appreciate the tow so I will only ding one star - but at this point we would have been better off just going to the dealer directly.
This was by far the greatest shop I have ever dealt with. Friendly, kind, fast and affordable. We had a very big issues to deal with in a very short amount of time. The owner, employees and his Son worked together and put in extra time to make sure the car was ready when we needed it and it was actually done early. I can’t say enough great things about them! Call then for any needs from tires to repairs to detailing!
I called this company after having a blowout on my front tire. I waited over 2 hours on another towing service through my insurance and they still didn't show up. I decided I waited long enough. Reid's towing was the first place I called and I explained my problem to them. They looked to see if they had my tire size but they didn't and told me when they could get them in which was the next day. They immediately offered me a tow and a very reasonable price for the tow to the nearest tire shop. I accepted and they were there within 3 minutes and hooking my car up. The driver for this tow was so nice and very pleasant to talk to. I'm very appreciative for this company and the way they treat their customers. I highly recommend them and if I ever need another tow they will be my very first call. Thank you all at Reid's Towing so much!
I am new to the area and was fully stranded with no one to call with a dead battery right before a severe thunderstorm hit this afternoon. Reid himself was at my aid within 15 minutes and had my car running in what seemed like seconds! Better than AAA! I highly recommend and will use his service again if needed!

My beater (kids have labelled it 'The Turd') had clutch issue on way to work one morning. Managed to get it there without too much drama, but there it sat for almost two weeks while I was out of town on business. Finally got around to doing something about it. Luckily my office is not far from Reid's. I googled towing nearby and decided on Reid's because of positive reviews. Good choice. Called for tow ~8am, gotta call when truck was 5 mins out, vehicle gone by 9am. Reid's called with very reasonable estimate. The Turd was back on road by 4pm. Outstanding.
I received excellent customer service and a fair quote on the work that my vehicle needed. I was towed to Reid's garage late on a Saturday and my vehicle was ready early Monday morning. I am pleased with how I was treated and the work done by them. I will definitely be using their services in the future!
My family and I were in Charlotte on vacation and on our way to Myrtle Beach for a wedding. Our van would not start on Friday morning and the wedding was the next day. We called Reid Towing and Mr. Reid came right away to our hotel. He told us he’d have our van ready by 5 pm so we could still make it to the wedding. Not only did he have the van fixed before 5 pm, he even gave us a ride to his shop! He said he always wants to take good care of his customers- we’ll, I can tell you, he and his team went above and beyond for us. We were SO WELL cared for!! We found this service online last night. Words do not give true definition of how professional Mr. Reid and his tow guy Mr. Pat was. They saved the day. First they answered after hours on a Saturday evening and I didn't have to speak to a machine for services. Next Mr. Reid was very understanding of the situation. Mr. Pat was timely and proficient. The cost of the service was very reasonable and I know without any doubt we would highly recommend this towing company over any of the others we have ever used. After a long day of calling around, I'm glad God presented them to us(all through a Google search) Keep up the excellent work Mr. Reid and Mr. Pat!!!!!!
