David is incredible. My company uses them for our towing needs and when my personal vehicle broke down they were the first call. Everyone there is wonderful, service is fast and the best in town.
Absolutely outstanding service. They arrived within 20 minutes of my call and solved my problem within 2 minutes. My roadside technician, Will, quickly assessed the situation, fixed everything he possibly could, and guided me through the next few steps.
These guys deserve more than 5 stars, and they certainly deserve your business.
Do not have experience with the company but driving down river highway in mooresville a tractor trailer tow vehicle failed to yield to an ambulance with lights and sirens on. The ambulance had to swerve into the middle turn lane to get by. Truck number 92 was the truck today.
Southern Star is number one on my towing list they are Fast and Courteous and Jason was awsome and great at what he does. Great Company Great Employees.
The Driver was a phenomenal Help and it gets 4 stars for that Alone!!!
The Front Office has an attitude for no Reason Though. I'm trying to give them Money and the lady rushes me to get to my own car that needs to be towed. If she was better at Guest Service I would give 5 stars hands down. Overall Really Good!
Unexpectedly, I got a flat on I77 and after many frustrating calls to other tow companies, I called Southern Star. Five stars does not even begin to show what a great experience I had. Jason, who helped me tow my car, was extremely kind and made me feel so comfortable. Thank you to Jason and Southern Star, you guys are the best!

My husband was towing our boat yesterday when the one of the trailer bearings broke & the wheel almost fell off... He pulled over onto someone's front lawn & called AAA. (no answer, by the way, over 24 hours later!) Then he tried Seatow & they connected him w/Southern Star Towing. It took a day for a flatbed to become available & then our trailer was too long to fit onto the flatbed so my husband & the tow driver, Cameron, had to physically wrestle the trailer & boat onto the flatbed at an angle so it would fit! I had to post a review for this amazing kid who went above & beyond! I'm sure Cameron's job description does not include wrestling with a boat & trailer, but he stepped up & did what had to be done to get this problem taken care of (especially compared to the customer service person I called at AAA who was totally uninterested that the roadside assistance number is still not working...) Cameron, you are amazing! Thank you so much for being the a bright spot in an otherwise frustrating weekend!
Billy was prompt and very professional. He made sure that my mini bus was well taken care of during transit and properly parked. Customer service did great with communication
I can not thank Will enough who works for this towing company!! today while I was at Uhaul getting a hitch put on my car, they messed up my brake wiring and the car would not even start or even move to neutral position, Uhaul also had my car on a metal ramp while they installed my hitch, Uhaul told me oh well there is nothing we can do we can't figure this out, I felt helpless and beyond frustrated I just wanted to cry, we called multiple tow company's to tow my car to Toyota and triple A and other companys refused to do the job because the car was put on a ramp by Uhaul and they needed the car off the ramp to tow. The problem was there was no way to get the car off the ramp because it was on brake mode on this ramp. Finally after talking to Toyota about the situation we were in they said I should call Southern Star Towing and they should be able to get my car off the ramp, Will showed up in a very timely manner and was super sweet and professional, he looked at the situation we were in and said I can do this, as we watched he was able to get the car off the ramp in the Uhaul garage and onto the towing truck and took my vehicle into Toyota for me!!! Will came thru when no other towing companies could, he is my saving angel today, I could not be more thankful for the actions of this company and will definitely use them in the future if need!! highly recommend.
Gary delivers cars to the dealer I work for and he is the best tow driver that I’ve worked with in 5 years of this business. He is knowledgeable and courteous. 5 star service!
So legit one of the most embarrassing moments today. I got my car stuck on a curb in a parking lot. It was hot, & I had my 4 kids 8& under with me. I called Southern Star & they sent someone right out to me. He got there very quickly. Before calling them, I had someone quote me a 90-120 minute wait for someone to come out. He made it out to me in under 30 minutes. He was really professional & got straight to work on getting my car unstuck! I was worried about how embarrassing it would be but he was professional the entire time& very polite. My kids & I waited in a grassy area & he got my car unstuck in no time! Highly recommend!!!

Southern Star was absolutely fantastic. They were holding a car I flew to Charlotte to purchase until the shipping company could pick it up. Not only were they kind, helpful, and respectful. These guys went above and beyond, they stayed open an HOUR LATE because the shipper could not make it before they closed. I couldn't be happier with these guys - fantastic service and great people. I would encourage anyone in the area to use them.
Absolutely rude driver and one of the worst tow services I've ever dealt with. The driver ripped me off by driving my vehicle only 50 ft from the wreck, ripping out my rear suspension in the process, took my key and said if I want it back I had to pay $130. Even worse, the driver didn't want to drop my car off at my residence which was closer than their lot because he didn't feel like it. Absolutely despicable guy. I would not reccomend using this tow company unless you want to get ripped off rudely.

Called at 5:26 PM, original wait was 1 hour 30 minutes, our driver David (who is awesome) made himself available after his shift ended and got us and was at our stop in under 30 minutes during rush hour. If you want the best, this it. David was awesome. I wish I had 6 stars, he went above and beyond.
Southern Star came to give me a tow when my cargo van broke down. Theresa was great, had a great sense of humor, told me it would be a hour and a half before they could get to me :( She then called back and said they had a cancellation, and they'd be there in 20 minutes :). The driver loaded up the van, zipped me and the van to my mechanic and was top notch professional every step of the way! 5 stars, will use them again.
My experience was great! That had 100% to do with Jason. He was very kind and yet very professional. Definitely the best customer service experience I've ever had. I really appreciate the pride that he takes in his profession.

Jason was great - showed up 5 minutes before they said he would, was super friendly and even followed up to confirm, as the mechanic I was having it towed to had moved. He took it to the right place & got it handled! Would definitely recommend.
You never want to need a tow truck... but in situations when you do, you'll be thankful to pick a good one.
Jason was so awesome with my son with autism (we were stuck on the side of the interstate) - he made sure he was safely in his truck and not scared before he even got started.
Got us home, even took a few minutes to help check what was wrong.
Gave recommendations on shops... which we sadly needed after realizing it wasn't an easy fix.
Now my son wants a tow truck for Christmas and to be a tow truck driver.
Great company, and so impressed with the kindness of Jason!

This company had to be called to tow a company truck (semi) I read the reviews and decided to give them a try as opposed to the recommended company that told the driver it would take 2-3 hours for them to arrive. I spoke to the dispatch who was very nice and the actual driver Tony was very nice and helpful. Not only was all the staff nice it did not take even an hour after calling for them to arrive and that is always great during a stressful time such as a break down. I highly recommend this company.
Had vehicle problems and needed a tow, so I called Southern. Jason showed up in a very timely manner. He was very friendly and did a great job with the tow. Towed my car to the shop and even gave me a ride back home. I definitely suggest using them for any towing job
They were very helpful and courteous. Got to me extremely quickly and even tried to help me start my car so I could avoid having it towed. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends!!
