Absolutely wonderful people at this location. After my accident he stop for coffee for me drove me into town. Took me in his personal truck further in town for biscuit and walked in to ensure I was able to get a hotel room . Outstanding gentleman here .

He actually had to tow my car what was actually three times. Once when a part went out in the motor, the second was this past Saturday when I totalled it, and the third time when he brought it back to my house. He was so nice, considerate and understanding, especially after I wrecked.
Such a pleasant experience out of a situation nobody looks forward to. Very friendly and picked us up within 15 minutes. Towed us from old fort to Asheville (30 minutes) and was priced very reasonably.
After having a bad experience with another towing company I am highly cautious about having my vehicle towed. Grab and Go was assigned to pick up my son’s truck and quickly any concerns I held were resolved. Highly professional and without a doubt one of the best experiences I’ve had with towing services. I don’t recall the drivers name unfortunately but I want to say Thank You for taking such great care of the truck but even more making my younger son’s day talking about trucks. My son is on the spectrum hence he doesn’t interact much with people outside of his comfort zone but he enjoyed the conversation with you.
Words can not express how appreciative I am for the service provided Feburary 2, 2023. The service we received was above par! We had to change location of the tow several times and the gentleman stayed in contact with us, waited on the side of the road while insurance company made changes to the delivery address, he was patient and he was more than sympathetic about our situation. While coming home from vacation we had a collision with a guy wire falling from the sky across the highway. The Lunsfords of Grab & Go were so compassionate, they allowed us to come gather our belongings out of the totaled vehicle after hours. We realized later we forgot some treasured photos in our fog, but a month later we were delighted that the Lunsfords mailed our memories back to us with well wishes for our recovery. We were blessed to be alive after such an accident and towed by such a special company. We greatly recommend Grab & Go and wish them nothing but the very best!
My car got totalled (stop at stop signs, please!) and Doug had to haul it off. The state trooper called him and he was incredibly kind and supportive- staying until my ride could get there, and promising to tarp the car if he couldn't get the window back up. Also very helpful when I stopped by to get the rest of the stuff out of the car. Hope I don't need him again but would absolutely recommend.
This guy's communication was A+! He was so nice and an awesome driver and he DEFINITELY looks out for his customers ten fold! He knows EXACTLY what he is doing and had me hooked up and rolling on the flatbed in about 2 to 5 minutes! Call this man if you need a tow! You won't regret it!
I had a great experience with Grab & GO! They were so friendly and professional. Got me out of a terrible spot on I-40 and got my work vehicle back to my place of business. My boss was pleased with the pricing, too! If you have a blowout or breakdown anywhere near Old Fort I recommend them wholeheartedly!
My ma, two little sisters were visiting from Florida. Our car couldn’t make it up the steep mountain and we ended up in a ditch.
We called the cops and another towing company, and neither showed, but Grab & GO Towing & Recovery made it over and saved us from spending another two hours in the cold with a baby.
They got us out of the ditch and did their best to help us actually get to our cabin.
I’m very grateful for them!
We were on our way to the late with a boat on the back of the truck when we popped a tire on a busy and curvy interstate. Doug came promptly to our rescue and found a place open on Saturday that could remove our stripped lug nuts. He went above and beyond and was very reasonably priced. He had to tow us to another town and he had a wedding to attend but was patient and didn’t rush anything. I would recommend him to anyone and give him 20 stars out of 5!!!
New Years Day morning, I had an alternator issue and got stranded at the bottom of the grade in Old Fort. Few mechanics and tow companies were even open for business that morning, but Grab & Go picked me up within minutes, gave me a very fair rate, and got me to a mechanic in no time. Doug is a fine man and I'd trust him with another perfect haul. He just brought my Land Rover from Marion NC to Raleigh, flawlessly, exactly as planned, exactly on time, with perfect service, great equipment, and a friendly and helpful attitude for a good price. We broke down towing a camper up black mountain heading to Ashville and all I needed was a clamp. I had no luck calling local roadside services so I called a local parts store and they highly recommended these guys so I took their recommendation and it turned out to be the right choice. These guys went way out of their way to help us making multiple trips for the right parts and keeping me informed the entire time. I can’t say enough about how wonderful Curt was for us!! We broke down in McDowell county on I 40 at night and in the pouring rain. We called Grab and Go and Curt came to get us quickly. He was so kind and helpful!! he dropped me off to pick up our other car and then he took my broken down car and my husband to our home. We were amazed at how reasonable the cost was. I have said to friends that God watches over us and He sent us a true Angel in Curt!! Highly recommended this service. Thanks a million!!!!
These guys absolutely went above and beyond in their service. After we had settled up, they called us back about 10 minutes later and said that if we couldn’t get our car fixed that night, then they would drive us to a hotel or where ever we needed at no charge. What a wonderful surprise! He called to say he was on his way. He arrived early. He jump started my car. He followed me to the repair shop. When they told me to go somewhere else for a less expensive battery, he followed me and stayed with me until they found the right battery for my car. I would recommend Grab & Go towing to everyone. On vacation we got ourselves in a very bad spot...hanging off the side of a mountain bad and it was thanksgiving! Despite the holiday they came to our rescue without hesitation.

Broke down on interstate while transporting a horse. Curt and his father answered the request for service and brought two vehicles to safely get us to the repair shop and to get the horse and trailer to a safe place where we could be picked up by a friend. They were in communication with me while they were on their way and they were as courteous and kind as they could be. Their equipment was top notch and their concern was much appreciated in a stressful situation.
Curt is a great guy....I highly recommend his company grab and go. My car broke down on the side of the mountain near Asheville. I was scared and super nervous. All by my self in a Audi convertible. I’m from Charlotte so I knew nothing about nothing. Curt came and picked me up with all my baggage, dropped my car off at the dealership and then helped me find the camp ground I was staying on in the dark! He talked to me the whole way made me feel very comfortable and did not over charge me. Very nice guy and very professional!!! Although I was nervous and scared and worried he eased all that with his stories and making me laugh! I don’t wish to ever be in that situation again. However if I had to be in it grab and go is the best company to go through it with.
We had a tire blow out in Marion on Hwy 321and Grab and Go Towing Old Fort, NC came to the rescue. The gentleman got right to it and couldn't have been more professional or nicer. Before we knew it, our tire was changed and we were on our way. He even followed us to a nearby gas station and filled our spare tire up with air. Great service from a great company! Highly recommend this company!
This guy was absolutely amazing! He took care of me, my boyfriend and his friend when my cars engine went out on I-40 this past Friday. He even let us sit in his shop until my father arrived to come pick us up and it was really late too. I highly recommend this guy and his company!
