What clients say about RECLAMATIONS in Highlands (NC)

Great place to window shop but their prices are predatory at this point. You used to be able to find good things for cheap but not anymore. On a recent visit, I found a damaged Threshold Enamel pan (originally $60 from Target 4 years ago) marked at $165. This is just one example of the pricing situation there. Again, great place to window shop for an aesthetic, but not worth buying at the high cost.

What a fun place! They have just about everything and it was fun to browse around looking at all the things they have. In reading other reviews, I see a few comments about prices being high. And yea, some things were, but this IS Highlands, lol, which has always been a more expensive area. But bargains can still be had here. But if not, splurge and buy it anyway, if you like it.?

Such a cool place to visit. They had nearly everything you could want or need when it comes to furniture, outdoor decor and more!

What a great find this was! Wanted something to do on an afternoon when it looked like rain so wasn't suitable for a hike. If you like old things and collectables you will love this place. Spent a couple of hours here just looking at stuff. Only ended up buying a few small things but found a lot of things I would have bought if I had brought a vehicle that would hold them. Compared to where I live, the prices are great and the people were friendly and helpful.

This place is pretty cool. There are all sorts of salvage items and antiques - I found the main building and grounds more interesting than the separate indoor furniture building. Pricey (and maybe too pricey for some items), but there is a caveat to that. There are plenty of bargains mixed in for some unique things. I bought a railroad lantern of all things, and came back here months later to look for another one. I liked this place enough to scope it out again. And I found another railroad lantern, maybe one of the last ones. You can barter also. It’s worth it to take a look.

Visited today in the rain… prices are absurd! Most merchandise is priced at 5x what it’s worth… not one single deal, waste of time.

Everything is grossly overpriced. A lot of the things in the barn were cheap import pieces of furniture. Something that should have been $300, for example, was $1200. Great location, great idea but not good stuff and prices are crazy

Well, we were excited to check this store out. It certainly has a lot of stuff to look at. There was a sign outside (pictured), so my hubby looked at the price and they wanted $75 for it which is way overpriced. Once inside the store pretty much everything is way overpriced. Some of the stuff was not antiques such as baseball bats, metal chickens for the garden. It’s definitely neat to look around. We did buy one little item for $12.00.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Lots of cool items. Be prepared to pay top dollar.

This place has some interesting items, but to say the prices are high is a giant understatement. I would say the prices are crazy, crazy, high.

It's more like an architectural salvage yard and also has a building with expensive overstock furniture (I'm assuming from high end stores, not target and Wayfair). Very cool. If you are looking for a one of a kind or unique piece, then you definitely should check it out!

Great location with tons of selection and unfortunately way over priced for what it is. I do realized their pricing is based on the market they are situated in, however, visitors to the area be prepared for sticker shock. You will find industrial, advertising, primitives, automotive, antiques, vintage, barn wood timbers, furniture, and a whole lot more. I would have given this place a 5 star review if it were not for the price gouging.

Never been to an antique store like this. With an expansive array of things, great prices, and helpful staff it is easy to find what you're looking for. There's a building dedicated to furniture as well. Will revisit any time I'm back in town and highly recommend this place for anyone looking to kill time or obviously find antiques.

This place is so cool. I really enjoyed looking at all they had to offer but unfortunately due the CRAZY high prices that’s all I could do was look. It made me feel really good about some of the pieces I already have though. For what they cost here I could sell and be a millionaire

Large antique & vintage market with a lot of mid century modern furniture and southern style decor pieces. Lots of metal pieces, wall art and letters. Many furniture items seemed to be priced a little too high for their value, but still still a great place to stop and stretch your legs on a road trip.

Happened upon this spot. Very cool. A never ending supply of junk. Definitely worth stopping in.

Looking for something old, really old, dusty, rusty or old this is probably a place to check out. Lots of stuff piled high inside the barn and strewn around the property. Interesting how much old stuff is accumulated here, but there is probably a reason there is so much sitting around, way over priced!

What a cool place to visit. It was kind of like visiting a museum. I could see someone finding crafts or projects to work on or adding some history to there house. There is definitely a huge selection of just about anything here.

I do not enjoy leaving low reviews. But I do think it’s fair to be honest for the people who may be going out of their way to visit this place. If you are just looking for somewhere to walk around & see some antique items, then this place will give you just that. If you are looking to actually do some shopping… you should win the lottery first ?. And then also save your winnings and buy the exact same things found here, at a more reasonably priced place. While there definitely was quite a bit of antique items, there was also a lot of items that it looked like they purchased from Homegoods for an affordable price & then added a couple $100 onto the price tag. We were definitely disappointed. This shop has great potential & would be quite a fun place to come if they’d realize their prices are absurd.

This place is absolutely amazing! We bought corbels (many to choose from). Very decent/fair price. Our house is over 100 years old. They have so many things from that era! A must visit when traveling through this area.

Tremendous selection. The metal building is filled with reproductions and new items. The yard and big barn are mainly old, vintage and antique goods with a few reproductions around. Enjoyed looking around however, it is WAY over priced!

What an amazing place. It’s like “Pickers” met “Hoarders.” There is so much to see it would take weeks. Some very unique items. A little pricy but they have no problem with a little haggling. We will come back again for sure.

Fun place to look around. Lots of items, great variety. Definitely add it to your vacation stops in Highlands. Very friendly employee.

Anything metal you could want or need is here. Friendly staff & cute dog to throw a ball for.

Cool stop to walk through. Watched two other customers haggle at minimum 20-30 dollars off of a $80-$90 pieces. We tried to see what the best price was on a few items we had in our hands. The employee I watched haggle with two other customers looked at us like we were crazy and said we don’t negotiate. We handed them our items and walked out. Extremely overpriced and seen better days according to our group. Walking through is fun, buying anything? Have fun.

This was a great find in the Highlands area. Loved wandering around looking at the unique and whimsical collection of antique and reclaimed items. Need up with two little goats and metal rooster. They fit nicely with my other metal yard decor.

Unique pieces, great finds. Well organized and helpful staff! Wish I had a trailer ?

....What are you looking for? Reclamations likely has it! They have tons of items. The ones that caught my eye the most were the reclaimed barn doors, drawer pulls, huge stars and metal yard art. You'll find something you will want to take home. I'm going for another visit soon. Maybe I'll see you there!
