The best tow experience I've ever had after getting my truck stuck in the mud on the side of the road. My call was answered after the first ring and a truck was on site within 20 minutes. Duke's used an app that sent me messages to let me know the driver was on the way and how far out. The driver found the easiest way to get me unstuck and we were on our way. I really appreciated how easy they made it.
Stellar service. My car broke down on my way to work around 7am. I called Duke’s and immediately got and answer and a dispatch. Communication was excellent with the driver sending me photos of the car prior to pickup and after delivery. Very fair pricing, as well. Will definitely call them again if I need a tow.
Yes, Eric was wonderful. Our son got his little car stuck in the snow. Eric and I were texting back and forth about possible snow and ice on the road where our son lives. Then he thought his truck was too long. Anyway we got there and Eric got there and he winched it out no problem. Great job Eric. Thank you!!!

Last night I hit a deer and found myself sitting on the side of the interstate. Eric pulled over to help me out and he couldn't have been anymore awesome. Extremely kind, helpful with figuring out my next steps, and overall made the experience not as horrible. I highly recommend him for your towing needs!

Eric was great I was stuck in a ditch in a neighborhood trying to get to an Airbnb that we rented for the weekend and he got up at 3:30 am and took his time pulled me out and dropped my truck off at a local tire company because my tire was flat . He dropped my key off in the night drop box and took a picture of the truck and drop of the key . He is so trustworthy and reliable and went above board .
Towing is the service you never want to need but when you do, you want someone you can trust. Had to unfortunately call a tow truck late at night for my daughter in college (we are 3.5 hours away) Eric was fast, courteous, professional and most important fair in price. Highly recommend and definitely saved their number in the unfortunate case i need these services again
Eric was awesome. My daughter's car broke down and we're 2 hours away. Eric let me know the price up front (which didn't change a penny), the timeline and even shared his location so I knew when he arrived. Took great care of the car, sent me pictures of the car following the tow and then made sure my daughter had a ride before leaving her at the shop. Texted to let me know all of this. As a dad taking care of his daughter from another state, I could not have been happier with Eric. Thank you.

I am so thankful for Eric and Dukes Towing and Recovery!!! After getting off late from my insane shift at Mission almost up for 20 hrs, I got a flat tire on my way home. My husband arrived an hour later after wasting time with “roadside assistance”, to find one of the lug nuts was the wrong size and we did not have the tools to get it off. We called Eric at Dukes Towing and he graciously agreed to come out. It was 11 pm when we first called and about 25 degrees outside and dark as could be. He was so professional, he sent us a gps link so we could see his arrival, he was prepared, he was quick, and he got the job done. He even followed me to the next exit as I needed air in the spare tire. He was able to take a card payment as well. Oh and as a healthcare worker, I appreciated him wearing a mask...the overall experience was just so wonderful. I read over the reviews here on Google, and they deserve every great review on here. My friend got her truck bottomed out on a ledge somehow..... After calling Dukes Towing and Recovery we were able to quickly assess the situation, the employees talked amongst themselves and gave a quick call back. From there a tow truck was dispatched to our location, at 2 in the morning. Fifteen minutes later the truck arrived. Options were super limited to get this truck free but the quick professionalism displayed by Anthony had the truck ready to be winched off this ledge and then driven free.
We were charged a very fair price at the end of the night.
Not only was Anthony able to get the truck free but interacting with him was a pleasure.
If you or your friend gets stuck in the Jackson County area I would 10/10 recommend giving these gentleman a call.

I was parked in a non-designated parking spot for an extended period of time when Dukes came to tow my car. I asked if I could move it, but it was there for too long so it either had to be paid for or towed and paid to release it. One of my friends came out and was giving the driver a hard time, but the driver remained professional and easy going while I sent my friend inside. The driver was very understanding and was helpful with different payment methods. It was my fault that the car was getting towed, but the driver worked with me and had great conversation while I was figuring out my payment. I never want to get towed, but I understand when I'm in the wrong and was happy to make the driver's job as easy as possible. Great company, will definitely call if I need any towing service in Sylva/Cullowhee. Thank you for making everything easier.
We hired Duke's Towing to move a 8x10 shed for us from Dogwood Lakes to Maggie Valley. We were more than happy with their service, price, and how fast they got it done! They are honest and reliable people. I would definitely use them again!
Very professional people. I had to use them twice. First time was great. Had a second encounter where I needed my car towed again. I was informed that they were on their way, but I had to wait over an hour. They were misleading on their wait time. Other than that, they are good people.
My friend and I went to a cabin for the New Years to have a relaxing time - until my car got stuck in the mud. Luckily with a quick google search I found this company and the guys were there sooner than I’d ever expected. I gave them the address and they were there before the cabins owner was able to drive us down the mountain. The person that answer the phone, Jesse, was extremely professional, nice, and very friendly. Jesse really helped me out when I was in a rough spot. I know that he runs a tow truck company but the level of compassion he had succeeded all forms of expectation. The other two people that came with him, Dale and Shaun, made the situation light hearted which relaxed my nerves. They all three knew exactly what they were doing, they were courteous enough to make sure my car didn’t get scratch by surround brush or get my car dirty since they had to knee down in the mud sometimes, and they made the situation less nerve wrecking by being humorous and polite. You definitely should give this company a call when you need help because they are the cheapest around, friendliest in town, and they were the most professional!!
These guys were amazing! My Honda Pilot slid off the pavement on a mountain road, inches away from a rollover. They worked and worked in pitch black darkness to rescue my vehicle and limit the damage. I was so grateful for their patience and expertise!
I have had my car towed many times by very many companies. This towing company comes out on top by far. The owner is a motivated, friendly, and customer oriented individual. He is extremely professional and will do anything he can to rise up to the challenge. I had my car parked for over 18 months at a VERY difficult spot. I called multiple companies until I found Dukes. Without hesitation he said he will give it his best shot! Low and behold he made it happen! He really works with you and ensures he gives 100%. I would highly recommend Dukes over ANY towing company is the Sylva NC area.
Great service. We are at 4200 feet and have 14 inches of snow. When going out of my driveway for the second time that day my truck slid sideways and sunk in a soft spot in the driveway. The first company I called said they would be there in 90 minutes. Three hours later the company called and said they were not coming and why would people live up there anyway! I called Duke's and they were there in 45 minutes as promised. It was a tough job, and by then very late, but they got it done. Great people! Thanks so much for your help. I can't say enough wonderful things about this company.
5 STARS!!! Jesse and his team were able to help me out of one of the must difficult situations I have been in in a long time. I was stuck 45 minutes away from my home in a snow storm; My key was stuck in the ignition and would not start after multiple attempts by many people. I had called for just a tow cause I though my car needed to go to a show but Jesse and his team were able to get my key to turn, start my car and then they went out of my way and brought my car back to my house almost an hour away in the middle of the snow storm. They were more helpful than any tow company I have ever used in my life . I highly recommend this company over any other. Great people. Honest workers. Excellent service.
Super friendly and Helpful Company! Jesse went out of his way in a snow storm to drive to another town just to see if he could fix my girlfriends car. He was able to fix my girlfriends car and then had his tow team drive her car back to our house. He was so incredibly helpful and we will definitely use him again if we are ever in a bind or need a tow. I HIGHLY recommend Dukes Towing and Recovery. 5 star service
Jessie and Jessie Jr are really nice guys, they saved our vacation. We were near Fontana Dam and I accidentally fell on a ditch. I called several towing companies nearby, but only Jessie was willing to drive for 1 hour, from Sylva, on Thanksgiving week. They carefully towed my car slowly for almost 2 hours to make sure no damage was done. I am very grateful for their service as we had to get back with my family through the mountains. Let them be your first choice fo the job.
Quick response and friendly service! My family was stuck out on a side road in the middle of the night. Terry responded friendly and was at our rescue in no time. He towed us safely to the mechanic garage of my choice. The cost was cheap for the quick, friendly and safe service my family received. I also felt he was gentle with my car while loading and unloading. Highly recommended!
