I needed front struts put on my car. Gave him a call and it was done shortly after. Reasonable prices….definitely give him a call if you need some work done!

Do not recommend this mechanic. He did half of the work in changing the starter, charged $250 and when the car wouldn't start again, he is asking for more money to fix it. He did not know the entire procedure to change the starter in a Honda.

I took my Honda crv to Jerome on a Sunday. He wasn't in the shop but he came to the shop on a Sunday and did great by me. Put brakes and got the parts for me the low. Very nice and respectful. And also introduced me to a way to get other parts for my truck for the low. Thank you so much.
Best AC repair guy for sure. Fast and the cost was reasonable for my German engine. Never going to a dealership for AC repairs in NC. Dealerships kept taking my money and saying my AC was fine even tho it would not get cold at all. Bringing my car here was the best option and almost my last option before given in and getting another car.
Jerome Chavis is fantastic! Quick to answer when I had an emergency and told me to bring it right away. Was very open about the issue and was super quick to get to work and fix the issue. If I could give six stars I would. I highly recommend anybody to come to this shop!
Mr. Chavis is truly great. The first time I needed his help was on a Sunday morning after a break-in to my car—he handled everything smoothly. Since then, he's the only one I trust with my car. He’s always quick, thorough with the issue, and his prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend him!

Mr Chavis was very nice until I gave him my money to fix my car. I needed a fuel pump installed, which he did but installed it incorrectly and when told my gas gauge was reading inaccurately he blamed me for having a bad fuel pump even I sent him the money to purchase the part. Because of this I’ve had to pay more money because it caused additional issues. What mechanic blames the customer when you purchased and installed the part. You should have just fixed the issue without being so difficult. I wasn’t difficult giving you my money. He still refuses to assist. He blames me for not going to the dealership and hangs up the phone. NEVER AGAIN. You probably kept the money and used a bad part smh.
I appreciate the fact that Mr. Chavis sees a person instead of $$$. Fabulous customer service, top tier work with fair prices!!!! I won’t be going anywhere else for anything White Lighting (my Jeep) needs in the future!!!!
Mr.Chavis was very helpful. Got my rear brakes, rotors and calipers replaced and he did a great job. He was very transparent about the repair and made sure I understood the work that was being done. Highly recommend getting your car serviced here.

I called Mr. Chavis at 7pm on a Wednesday after my brakes started making noise. As a student, I hadn't had time to find a mechanic in the area yet, so I was pretty much grasping at straws. Despite it being late, cold, and rainy, Mr. Chavis told me to bring the car straight down and even said he would stay late to get it up and running the same night if I really needed him to. He gave me a fair price for a full brake overhaul, ensured I got home safely in the poor weather, and had the car running as good as new less than 24 hours later! I highly recommend him!
I called Chavis at 7 pm (on a whim asa result of a google search!) from Virginia because my son who attends NCCU called me stressed because his car wasn’t running well. Chavis told me to have him bring it ASAP …he fixed it immediately and had him up and running by 9pm and for a very fair price. Quest said he was such a great guy he even took a look at his team mates car too that was making some noise. From a parent. I thank God for Chavis he put me at ease knowing my son has an honest and competent person to go when his car needs a fix.
I’m new to the Durham area, and I didn’t know any auto repair shops near me. Mr. Chavis has great reviews, so I gave him a call, and I’m so glad I did! He took care of several issues my old ford had, and even did a safety inspection last minute when I realized I was due for one, no problem. His prices are very reasonable and he got the repairs done super fast! I’m so happy that I have a working heater again this winter! I will definitely be going back for future repairs. Highly recommend!

Mr. Chavis is a very experienced, professional and friendly people. My car’s engine couldn’t start and I sent to one repair shop first and get my battery checked and starter changed, but problem still existed. Mr. Chavis then helped tow my car to his place and used only several hours to fix the problem, and they charged a reasonable price. Highly recommended!!
