First I want to say Lance is a “nice guy” but as a business owner is a very poor communicator.
We received excuse after excuse to why our repair was taking over 2 months.
Lance did not only fail to contact us with an update… but the coup de grâce was the cost of the final repair which was over 500 more than the original quote.
I am disappointed in an individual who claims his business as “Veteran Owned” but over charges on parts and claims a loss on a project due to poor overseeing and poor management.
I’d recommend these guys for their great work and professionalism, they did an outstanding job repairing my vehicle and even went the extra mile to make sure everything with the car was good to go. Definitely the go to guys for repairs.

Fair pricing and service is an understatement at this vet-owned business. Lance was EXTREMELY helpful throughout the whole process of completely replacing my engine. Chris is BY FAR the most knowledgeable mechanic I’ve ever met. The engine replacement on my ‘14 Ram was extensive; Chris and Lance kept me updated on every step of the process and got me back on the road. They provided an engine with some performance upgrades and a computer flash that put some NOTICEABLE kick into my truck. I couldn’t be happier that I chose to do business with these guys. I won’t go to another mechanic in Fayetteville, and anyone who chooses to do business elsewhere is missing out on good service, quality work with a caring attitude, and fair pricing without trying to get you to fix needless issues. After the job was completed which was supposed to be a one day job which I continually followed up with the owner and he kept saying they were having problems, so a week after the quoted job completion time my vehicle is done, only to find out the job price is now $850
I think these guys should drop the “performance” part and stick with the tow aspect
I had to take my car back in due to the job not being completed properly, he was able to do this within a day but after getting here I’m now told they accidentally gave my key to someone who bought a car from them as the key looked to be an identical match to the ford transit

McCormick Performance Should Be The Only Place You Have Your Vehicle Worked on.
The say before I went to McCormick Performance I went to Firestone on Fort Bragg they told me that my truck would cost 1,500 and a week to fix. I left and under the recommendation of many people in my Unit I called Lance ( The owner) and he laughed when i explained the situation he said bring it in tomorrow we will tell you exactly whats wrong with it and get it fixed that day. The next day when I arrived his mechanic Chris took a look at my vehicle and within minutes knew exactly what was wrong with it. I got it fixed that same day for $300 dollars. IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE FORT BRAGG AREA AND NEED A HONEST VET AND SERVICE MEMBER FRIENDLY MECHANIC DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE. McCormick performance is the only mechanic shop I will go to for the reminder of my time at bragg. Not to mention Lance is a great guy with great stories Thank you Lance and Chris!
i had my engine head done thought it would fix the skipping problem. i was told i need a cam and lifter kit. he installed supported to be new fuel injector. my motor was still skipping. i took it back home and got a new motor for my car. come to found out my motor was good. the fuel injector that was put in there was no good. a guy brough my old motor put in new injector and driving it right now with skip and no black smoke coming from the back. i also had my car back into by there flat bed truck. damage was never fix. bad business

Initially, I went to Firestone on base to check out my check engine light. I was then quoted for $1,100+ and told I need a brand new muffler, catalytic converter, and an assortment of replacements done for the repair.
A friend recommended me Lance from McCormick Performance who then not only quoted me $365 but was prompt! Lance advised me that Firestone recommended many unnecessary repairs and were cheating me!! Lance and his staff are professional, military friendly, and truely care about their clients.

I take my vehicle for regular maintenance. If I have to go elsewhere for a dealer recalls, alignments, or any service he doesn't provide they always try to add on other items they find. I run these findings by him and he always gives me a better price than the commercial places.
