Jesus and his dad are the nicest people I’ve ever met. I was on a road trip and got a flat on the side of the road late at night on the weekend. Jesus came and towed my car and while changing the tire saw that it needed fixed and wasn’t safe to drive. I got a hotel in the area and they came in on Sunday ( his day off) and fixed it for me. I’m so so so grateful for them! Nicest people ever I highly recommend and great prices too!!!!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!

I’m driving a company car that requires making a call to the fleet companies' maintenance line to request roadside emergency assistance. All I needed was a jump start.
The guy that came out was on time, which was consistent with the apps text message eta. He was friendly and helpful. However, he was saddled with equipment that was not up to the task. He had a jump box that was also a portable air pump. This device was not duty rated for commercial use, and that was proven as he tried to jump start the 2022, Ford Edge I was driving. It wasn’t able to allow this small engine starter to turn over. He then proceeded to break out jumper cables. He saw they were badly oxidized/corroded and he tried what he could to get them to work but because of the corrosion the voltage to the battery suffered a large drop and he had to use the jumper at the same time. Luckily, the car did start, but it sure took a long time.
I don’t want to blame the guy, and I’d rather put the blame on the owner, but the owner can’t know until he is told that he needs to replace or update his equipment. Maybe he has already been informed and just hasn’t acted on it yet.
I find this to be an important issue as time was wasted and worse the poor guy could have been in inclement weather conditions or out late at night and NOT have been able to jump start a vehicle with larger electrical demands. This would create a bad situation for both the client and the driver.
The driver and the owner need to replace the cables or soak and clean them in baking soda/Coca-Cola (Phosphoric Acid) and wirebrush and definitely replace that cheap jumper with a lithium battery high cranking amp NOCO or something. Don’t put clients and drivers at risk of a bad experience with subpar equipment.
The driver did his best under the circumstances, and I thank him!!!
Had a great experience using this company. Out of 5 different companies that were called they were the only ones to pick up. They were extremely nice and kept us updated on everything that they did. Very reasonable as well.
If I could give this place a zero I would. I needed my car towed to shop for repairs. Company came out to house on time and we went to work on getting car out of the garage. He stated that he needed to get a tool out of truck. He then proceeded to talk with people next door instead of doing what he was hired to do. Once I slam the hood down, he finally decided he needed to get back to me. I told him to leave. Then he wanted to run his mouth and not leave. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!
Great service man come out late to help me with a tire. He was the only person who wus opened in the area. Late at night. rill respectful guy Plan on doing more business in the future. 9 out of 10 recommend. For mechanic work, & roadside assistant ??
Needed a couple tires, stopped by this place and the price was great and the service was super fast like in and out. The guys were very friendly overall it was a great experience for a couple tires. You should check them out they do other auto services besides tires.
My husband and I called this morning needing an emergency fix on my power steering pump. He told us he is actually closed this weekend but he would meet us there and check it out. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it for us. We greatly appreciate the accommodations on such short notice and they only charged us the diagnostic price to fix it.. very satisfied and we will be bringing our vehicles back to him thanks !
Called for an emergency fix when my power steering pump was leaking after another mechanic shop installed a brand new pump and broke the oring. He quickly figured out what the problem was, cleaned everything up for us and replaced the oring charging us only the diagnostic price. Very satisfied will return
I had to have my sons tire changed here!! The owner was excellent he did a great job with the lugs that where stripped out!! He also gave me a fair price on the service!! Thank you so much I really appreciate you!! I will definitely use this automotive shop again!!
Best service so far thanks to Jesus!! My truck ran out of gas 5 miles away from a gas station. I called around and got crazy numbers because it was night time. I called this company and they gave me an honest price and thanks to Jesus again excellent & FAST service !!
Very professional and friendly. Answered the phone right away. I Had my transmission go out and strand me on the side of the road. I called Agapito's and they came and towed my truck to a garage I chose to have it delivered to. Would recommend to call first if you need a tow.
Good customer service even called back to follow up and see if I had my problem taken care of. I have not gotten it taken care of yet and appreciated the call back so chose to use them for towing our broken down vehicle back to our house. Job was done timely and with good communication. Would use them again.
I was on my way home around 3:30am & I thought my tire popped. I pulled over, checked each tire, looked underneath my car & nothing. So I began pulling off hubcaps. 5 out of 6 wheel studs & lug nuts GONE from my passenger side rear wheel. I contacted roadside assistance & after a few mins I received a text saying Agapito’s Tow & Recovery was on the way. The owner of Agapito’s called my cell phone (which was provided to him via roadside assistance) & asked if I was okay; was I safe; was I in a safe location; did I need any additional assistance aside from tow services.. he personally got out of bed at 3:45-4:00am, in the pouring rain, drove 30 mins to where me & my car were stuck at, dropped me off to my residence approximately 3 miles from where I was broke down at, & took my Camry to his shop to fix the wheel studs.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AGAPITO’S TOW AND RECOVERY TO ANYONE NEEDING ANY TYPE OF AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR SERVICE OR TOW SERVICE! I will definitely be using this business again
Agapito's auto saved the day. After calling around to multiple automotive repair shops, agapito's was the only one willing to work and haul my Tesla. All other garages were too afraid to mess with it.
Agapito's was honest, straight forward and fair with the price. If it wasn't for them I would still be stuck
I Googled a local mechanic to help with the purchase of a used vehicle to do an inspection. They saved me a BUNCH of money. They found the transmission was leaking, the struts would need replacing within 6 months and some other areas of concern that would have cost an arm and a leg down the road. Definitely would recommend them! Both guys were so nice, approachable and down to earth. They explained the issues in terminology I would comprehend. AWESOME GUYS!!
He has been my mechanic since his shop in Jacksonville. I will bring all my vehicles to him.

Last night, I got stuck in a deep mud hole in Parker’s tract gameland near Bayboro, NC. I called some friends to unstick me and they got their truck stuck in the mud as well. After calling 911, Triple A, and wreckers, there seemed to be no hope for external help. I stumbled upon Agapitos and they were the only company in 40 miles of our location who answered the phone and volunteered their help. A young man took our call and said he believed he could assist us. He drove an hour from Vanceboro, at 10 PM, to our location 3.5 miles into the woods. He used his personal vehicle and managed to secure both vehicles from the mud pits by 11:30 pm and escorted us safely out of the woods, unsticking my truck (a 4WD Chevy) several more times. This man went above and beyond to secure our vehicles and prevent us from spending the night in the woods. Despite my doubts about his ability to drive back there, he handled the poor roads with grace and ease. Agapitos deserve a 5 star review and every penny they make, truly excellent service. I have nothing but gratitude for his help and if I ever get into a jam again
My husband and I normally do not need to use services such as this as he is mechanically inclined and pulls ours vehicles when needed but this time was different. Agapitos was contacted through our roadside assistance Allstate and I couldn't have asked for a better company. Jesus responded in a timely manner and was very nice, respectful, and professional. As previously stated he was contacted through roadside assistance so I do not know thier rates, but I do know from my experience If I was to need a future tow I'd request Agapitos hands down regardless if I have roadside or not.
By far the worst experience I've had in life. I was overcharged and the guy did not even fix my car. He kept my car for two days to fix a overheating problem. I got my car back after paying $500 only to drive 40 miles down the road and break down. Once I called the guy back and told him I broke down he blocked my phone number. Di not believe him. He will take your money and run
I locked myself out of my car on a Saturday when my keys fell out of my bag and thankfully found Agapito's Automotive Repair through Google! Jesus was the first to answer politely and was there in less than ten minutes and had me back in my car in less than another ten! AND he charged me less than what the only other 2 companies quoted me and they both had wait times of an hour or more! Will definitely be going back for any other emergencies or auto repairs I need in the future.
They seem to be very nice people, lhowever I spent a lot of money getting absolutely nothing done and then having to buy a new battery besides. I am very disappointed!! I feel like I was violated and taken advantage of. I have no problem paying good money for good work done. In my case everything is the same and it cost me a fortune after he tried to charge me three times more money at first. These people used to do great work and give you great deals but somehow they changed. I’m only saying this to protect you from spending a lot of money. I feel like I threw my money in the toilet. 100% and I still have to take it to a dealer to find out what is wrong.

I have not enough words to pray This young man for his dedication and professionalism, very honest and hard worker. He came to check my broken truck at 10:00 pm trying his best to make it work. After realizing the gas pump was not working knowing this is my work truck he towed it next day to his huge shop and delivered back to me with the gas pump replaced same day by 9:00 pm. Great communication during the process and very fair labor cost. Thank you Jesus, best regards, keep your work ethic and I wish you a great success in your business.
What can I say, thank you Jesus! This man showed up early in the morning and worked on my G37 coupe. First, his communication was top notch and kept me posted every step of the way. There were no surprises and installed, balanced a set of tires I purchased online. Performed a complete brake job, oil change and even installed a parking light bulb. The price was fair and Jesus was very reasonable, honest and up front. Needless to say as long as I have a car he will be my mechanic.
I found Agapito's Automotive on Facebook and was able to hire Jesus as a mobile mechanic in upstate NY. He was able to fix an ATV and old plow truck that had been sitting and not running for me. He got the ATV running quickly, but the truck had many issues discovered along the away. He was determined to get it running and took on the extra work needed without leaving me stranded. He even spent many hours running around town looking for the right replacement part for us. Excellent customer service, great work ethic, fair pricing, good mechanic. Would definitely recommend.
Owner scammed bank for two payments of the same transaction and made me sign a new receipt saying one was wrong and made it seem to the bank that it was two legitimate separate payments for close to 4 grand. Do not come here. Owner is not trust worthy, too busy to answer phone calls, and will not call back.
Never in my life have I ever had a mechanic call me back until I took my truck in for work at Agapito's Automotive Repair. I was frequently updated about his progress, and if I could not get to the phone he would leave a voicemail to make sure I was informed. He worked swiftly and even took photos for me to show the work he had accomplished and if there was something else that needed fixing that he could get to then he'd do it. To be completely honest, it does not get much better than that.
I work on the road for an insurance company and everyone else was trying to rip me off! The owner was very respectful and honest! His prices were cheaper than anyone else in Jacksonville. His fiancée was nice to me also! Great place, good people. I recommend this spot to anyone looking for good work with descent prices.

I had may questions pertaining to my Vehicle and Jesus was very patient with me, often working overtime, suggesting great tips to help me get the most out of my build. Great communicator and helpful in more ways than 1. Getting my vehicle back on the road was a priority and Agapito's met my needs and excelled in communicating possible oversites to ensure I was receiving great service, for a great price! For example, I didn't want particular work done, no problem; he was more than understanding, wiling to work within my budget. He'll get the job done correctly and efficiently. Just FYI, take his advice, he knows his stuff and his worth.
Folks on a budget, great! Car enthusiasts looking for some custom work, bring some cash, this guys great in more ways than one. Awesome Mechanic. Price is moderate, but this is your one stop shop; look no further for getting your vehicle back on the road. Anything from a basic Full Synthetic oil change to more complex situations dealing with suspension components, drivetrain and exhaust. Custom work is a Plus!
Last I came in he was Rebuilding an Engine for a 2011 WRX and put it in; just a few days.
