I want to share my great experience with Shelby Towing, located in the little town of Shelby, North Carolina. The guy who helped me, Lane, was super friendly and very efficient. As soon as my truck broke down, he got me into a safe spot with the trailer in just a few minutes. The whole process was quick, and the price was very reasonable. I definitely recommend them.

Overpriced and disappointing service. This company might be fine for small, simple jobs, but if you’ve got a larger vehicle or truck, be prepared to pay way too much. The staff were rude and seemed to have no real care or respect for my vehicle, assuming because of its size and the pickle we were in. I expected better professionalism and understanding for the astronomical price they charge, and the also astronomical “storage” fee if you didn’t get the vehicle picked up on day one. Would not recommend for anyone needing serious or larger-scale work.

Do not park in a legal parking spot across from court house because it clearly says will be tow after hours but they will still tow any way trust me something bout be done cause this is crazy wasn't in court bout no longer than 10 min came out car was towed had pay 250 get it and bout call and email Action 9 news cause this is beyond absurd they take ppl money when all signs say will be towed after hours Broad daylight when ppl have go court

I just wanted to say thank you to the tow truck that stopped to pick up what was laying in the road at 3:00 pm on Sunday while towing a Cadillac going down 180! You are a good man and just thought you would like to know that we appreciate it!

They will tear up your vehicle!!! They have no idea what they’re doing. They are outrageously expensive!!! Very unprofessional and don’t know what they’re doing. Towed my car when it broke-down. The repairs for the damage they did cost me more to fix than to repair the original problem that caused my car to breakdown!

Just called. Broken down needing gas. The woman who answered said they don't offer fuel delivery. Yall should change your website because your website says yall do.

Our car broke down around 6:00pm on a Friday. I called Shelby Towing, a very nice and accomodating lady answered the phone. They had a driver on site in less than 30 minutes. We had the car towed to another town for repair. The service was incredible and the price was very fair. These folks are first class.

My truck broke down at 8:00pm on a Friday night. I was literally stuck in the middle of the road. I called Shelby towing in a panic. I was trying to direct traffic around my truck and not get run over at the same time. The woman answered on the 2nd ring and had the driver to me in 30 minutes. The driver was super nice and got my truck loaded up quickly and taken to the shop. Affordable price and AWESOME!!

After several companies failed only Shelby Towing was able to move and tow my bus. Lane at the helm got this huge vehicle out of a very tight spot. Thank you Lane. It’s been converted to a motor home and is now safe with our mechanic Jeremy, at his shop. Awesome job men!!!’ Jennifer Gabriel

I was in a single mva where my car was a total loss after being sent into the median cable at 60+ miles an hour. The tow truck driver was kind, however, it was the care and I received afterwards from 2 people at the business that really made me realize what a blessing Shelby Towing was when they were called to retrieve me and my demolished car. I realize my situation is unique but anyone reading this review should know that Shelby Towing truly has amazing people that *care* far beyond profit and money….I will forever be grateful for their compassion in a very low moment for me. I will use Shelby Towing should I ever need their services again and will tell everyone to use them as well. They did God’s work and I know God will bless them for doing what they surely did NOT have to do at all. Shelby Towing, thank you from the bottom of my heart for being there and blessing me. I will NEVER forget the kindness and hope you will be blessed any and every chance you get!!!

The driver did pretty good at getting our car up from the embankment, except he didn’t care that the door was open and it did more damage than the accident itself. Then when I asked him to tow it to my house he wanted to charge me $400. Accident happened in Shelby and I live in Kings Mountain. Cost $135 for him to take it to their lot, $30 gate fee for me to get it.

I was not pleased with the driver who picked my son’s car up last night. He acted as if he was upset he had to get out and then wanted to charge outrageous price to tow it home .so we let them take it to there lot. Had someone come the next morning pick it up and it didn’t cost me close to the money they wanted to charge to bring it home. My suggestion is always use In a Miunte towing Or Lil Mac which is who we used. Also Mulls towing is better than this company.i work at a dealership and i will not or would not recommended these people

Lane was the man!!!!!! going to the lake and the wheel hub broke on my trailer gave shelby towing a call and 30 mins Lane was there to save the day. He said I never towed a boat on a roll back shoot 10 mins later it was loaded and headed back to the house like he had done it a 1000 times before. All I can say you need a tow there the way to go fast and frendly.

JONATHAN WAS AMAZING!!!!!!! If I could give him 1 million stars, I would period he came and got our SUV out of the yard(muddy/rainy area) Arrived quickly and provided Superior customer service. I am a forever Shelby towing customer.

Shelby Towing is the most reasonable towing service around and professional workers they go beyond to secure you vehicle and make sure there is no more damage than I had already cause to my truck being very careful while loading and unloading.

Shelby Towing came out on a dark rainy night and towed my wife’s van after she hit a pot hole and busted a tire. They were busy that night, but came quickly and the charge was very reasonable, and the driver was very nice and courteous. Will definitely use them again.

Best towing company I have ever used, why do I say this is because my vehicle was stolen, police found it and had them to pick it up. My battery was dead and they helped me 3 times until it charged up enough to run on its so that I could drive it back home. Great people to know, God bless them all.

Update they claim they knew the breaks were locked and say they didnt drag but the fact they were still locked when i went to get it off their lot and took a photo of the drag marks on the tires . So they did not unlock the breaks prior to hauling it away. Which there for ruined the tires .They were hired to tow my trailer by someone who bought the parking lot where everyone parked, my issue isn't so much that they towed it. My issue is they dragged my trailer over a few miles ruining the tires because the breaks were locked up on one side. I had to pay 1500 bucks to get my trailer out of tow. They only write a measly letter to Raleigh and that could take a week or more and then Raleigh takes a week or so to write you a letter informing you you've been towed. By that time they rack up all this money and ruin your equipment in the process.

Shelby Towing recently came to my home to pull a Sprinter Van out of my driveway that was stuck. I was very pleased! The driver was super easy to work with and strived diligently to protect my yard as much as possible. The driver was very knowledgeable and did a great job.

My driver broke down in Shelby, NC. I’ve called several towing in the area before I called Line. Everyone couldn’t help! I called Line of Shelby Towing. Line is great guy and he got to the driver in 15 minutes! The price for the tow was very reasonable compared to other places. 100% I’ll recommend Shelby Towing and Line is just magnificent. Quick response and friendly service to come pull my truck and trailer out of the mud while delivering a “unusual” animal from Tennessee. We had some good laughs! Highly recommend, friendly, reasonable rates. Thanks again!

My Pathfinder broke down on the side of the road. (Same one that I have been complaining about for three years now) from Nissan of shelby lol well anyway. My SUV loss power while I was driving down the road. I didn’t want to call a tow truck driver because with inflation everywhere is high. Called Shelby towing they were the cheapest thing going. The driver knew what was wrong with my suv before he even stepped out his truck lol. Alternator gone. Simple fix. Very courteous service. Driver was very nice. Will be doing business with them again
