Good experience. I met the owner and she(Yes, you heard me correct, lady owned) was always professional and courteous on the phone as well as in person. I’m gonna give her a 5 because she ended up giving me an extra $5 off the price BUT she did forget to call me back about the couple little nick nack parts I needed prices on for my 99 Chevy Lumina. The parts for my car are getting limited but she had what I needed that day. She was slammed when I was there as always
I called several places for a used ac compressor for my Saturn Vue with no luck. The last place I called suggested Norman's of Shelby, and they told me they had the part. I went this afternoon after work and I'll have to say I have never been treated better by any kind of business. The woman at the desk was kind and understanding and even asked the mechanic to bring the part out to my truck and to help me walk back to the truck if needed. She came out from around the desk to get my credit card and again to return it with the receipt. Those small acts of kindness mean the world to me and that's besides well organized shop and efficiency in getting the part without delay.

1st time I called them went great, said part will be ready tomorrow AM. Went the next day and they said it's not going to be ready till next week. I agree to come next week but I called them to make sure bc it was a 45 min drive for me. Called them and gave me the same response and said they'll call me back but they apologized so I was cool with it and agreed for next week. Time went by and waited 2 months to get a part. 2 months. And still didn't have it ready. I had to be the one calling them to check when I was told they were too call me back. Last time I called price went from $100 to $250 probably bc they couldn't do the job correctly and wanted to compensate for stupidity. This place is useless to get parts. I could of pulled it myself in 30min. Still didn’t get my part.
I am the owner of a small automotive repair shop in Mills River, NC. I ordered a part and received the wrong one....however, when I called to get the issue corrected, the owner Of Norman's quickly and apologetically made it right and with no additional shipping fees. We WILL be using Norman's Of Shelby from now on. Thank you guys!
