Spent $2,000 on my truck here a few months ago. Have a 2022 truck with 50k miles - service included breaks, new tires, oil, ect. Within a week of driving off, the bolts holding the break caliper on my front passenger tire “fell off” - was reasonable and let them repair. Now both new front tires are going bold on the outer edges with less than 6k miles on both front tires. Never had this happen before on any truck. Brought it to another garage and it appears they don’t even know how to complete an alignment. Would definitely not recommend this shop in the future.

Called Thursday to schdule a repair time. They got me in and out quickly and was actually ahead of schedule. They were friendly and spoke to me with respect even when they had to break things down a bit.

Total rip offs Though because I was traveling out of state was going to charge me $845 to balance 4 tires on my truck. My brand new tires $845 to dismount and balance 4 tires. Stay away buyer beware

My wife called to try to get my diesel truck towed there and fixed before I got home from out of town work.3 guys at my house had told the man she was talking to that it was the radiator. Fan blade broke and went into the upper and lower radiator. He tried his best to convince her that it was a head gasket. ME LOOKING FOR A HONEST DIESEL MECHANIC WHEN I STOP IN FOR A CARD MONTHS AGO. Guess I try to find a HONEST one somewhere else. NEEDLESS TO SAY RONALDS DID NOT FIX MY RADIATOR PROBLEM NOR WILL I TRUST THEM WITH ANYTHING ELSE. HONESTY IS EVERYTHING!!!!!!

I am sure Ronald's Garage is a good place. However, when the business number is called, it says that they are open on Saturdays from 7-12. On the sign posted on the door, it says they are closed on Saturday. If that can be established, the customers would greatly appreciate it so there would be no miscommunication. Thank you.

I had an excellent experience at Ronald's garage with Alyssa owensby. I called her in a panic because a tire retread blew through the front of my car on the way to a conference. She was excellent and helped me evaluate the damage and was just the nicest person thru the entire process! Because of them I might only be a little late to my conference instead of having to head home!!!!

After reading a recent review about the Honda it reminded me of our recent experience. Husband took it in after finding differential oil on the driveway. After this garage did a diagnostic he was told it was transmission lines and would cost roughly $2800 but if we paid cash only $2264. RED FLAG to pay cash and give more than 3.5% discount to cover CC fee. Paid the $177 diagnostic and took to another garage in town. After fixing the leak- differential only cost $600 plus we had the oil changed and a few minor repairs. Trucks been driving great with no leak for 2 months now. Not saying the owner is a scammer, but might want to look at your employees a little closer. They are getting paid way too well!

All the lights on the dashboard of our 2017 Honda CRV came on Feb 12th. We took it to the Honda dealership (Shelby NC) on Thursday Feb 13th. The dealership stated that it was the fuel injectors. We wanted a second opinion so we took the CRV to Ronald’s Garage on (Friday)Feb 14th. Ronald’s ran a diagnostic test on the CRV and stated that it wasn’t the fuel injectors. We took it back to Ronald’s on Monday Feb 17th they kept it until ( Friday) the 21st. After charging us $2,213.00 4 days later the lights came back on . My wife took it back to Ronald’s , one of the owners told her we would have to leave it cause they didn’t have time to look at it. We took it to another local garage in Kings Mt who we trust but was closed after 12noon on Fridays. The garage checked out the CRV and told us to take the CRV to Salina’s Honda in Gastonia. It was the fuel injectors and the fuel feed pipes. Ronald’s removed & replaced the spark plugs, changed the oil, removed and replaced the front pads/ rotors, replaced the AC control unit but they did not address the real problem…. Therefore we do not recommend Ronald’s garage to anyone. Salinas Honda replaced the fuel injectors and the fuel feed pipes. Now it runs GREAT.

I’ve taken my daughter’s 2010 Kia Soul to Ronald’s garage 2 times, due to needing a lot of work and they were absolutely wonderful both times. Her car runs great and the prices were great! I highly recommend them!

They charged me 1500 dollars to do an alignment tie rods and 4 tires and they completely messed my alignment up an would not do anything about it they made my car worse then what it was an did not care that they messed up I don’t recommend going there unless you want to be overcharged for everything

UPDATE: After talking with one of the owners, he deeply apologized and we reconciled. Thank you Woody for the apology and explanation/listening to my side. Long review of Ronald’s Garage: My Dodge Ram 250 had ONE small issue of incorrect fuel filter installation. The truck would start but would turn off after a couple minutes. Knowing it was a small issue, I called Ronald’s and informed them and they say to bring it to the shop and they’ll take a look at it. Every hour someone informs me it will be another hour before they can look at it. I sat there for over 3 hours before they said the mechanics were busy and they’ll give me a call once they’ve looked at it. Later that evening I get a call saying they found XYZ issues and the total cost would be $1250 and expected me to agree over the phone. I declined and requested to take my truck back. I go back the next day and wait for another 3 hours before they “drove” it out to the parking lot. I’ve been able to have it fixed by a much more honest and reliable mechanic for $100 for 1 hour for the only issue there was/what I asked for. . Never going back to Ronald’s ever again. If you value your money and your vehicles, don’t go to Ronald’s Garage

Brakes went out 3 hours from home. These guys got me right in less than four hours. And the waiting room had some super comfy couches. Everybody in the place knew what they were talking about. Best mechanic I've ever been to. Almost wish I lived nearby

This morning we stopped in Kings Mountain NC because the master brake line from the master cylinder decided to pop….well I found Ronald’s Garage and went by their reviews. They called and searched Ford Dealerships for a Steel Braided brake line for 75 miles; no luck and Ford has a hold on parts therefore no parts houses was of any luck. One had to be ordered downfall it would not be in until the next day. It was a grim situation, no hotels around that were available or pet friendly….but while on the phone; the diesel mechanic Ryan whom I highly highly recommend came out n says let me try to build you a line & that he did!!!! He went above and beyond. They saved me a lot of money and got us back on the road. Granted we are hours behind but I’ll take that than being over 30 hrs behind. If you need diesel work or any mechanic to-recommend Ronald’s Garage in Kings Mountain NC! We are from Texas (prior NC native) n their hospitality, respect and customer service was top notch!!!

Disappointed with the service. Took my car in to fix exhaust issue and mentioned damaged and broken hose on top of engine. During a follow up phone call, I asked again to make sure they saw the broken hose. When I picked my car up, I saw that they never fixed the hose, it was still hanging off. Frustrating that they charge $140 for diagnostics for the exhaust issue considering they completely missed a obvious broken hose. When I pointed it out, they acted annoyed and seemed not to care at all. Should have been a easy fix. Will be unfortunately looking for another mechanic shop to go to.

Good morning! I was recently at Ronald's for the first time for oil change & repairs to my van. The people were very friendly & helpful . My van got the service it needed & has been happy ever since!! As for being a waiting customer, it would have been good to have had a hot cup of tea or coffee & a working change machine! Thanks to all !!

Called to see if I could get an appointment for new spark plugs and an ignition coil, the guy proceeded to rudely say my protection plan I have on my vehicle did not go into effect until 60-90 days when it is instant. I told the guy that it went into affect the day I bought the car and that it was a $100 deductible that I had to pay no matter the problem. He then proceeded to tell me I would have to pay anyways. I called another place and they accepted right in with no rudeness or defense like conduct. I will NOT be back and will not recommend this place to anyone.

Ronald’s Garage has always been my “Go-To” to have anything done with my vehicles for over a decade. Extremely fast service and always truthful. Tyler and Buddy have truly created an amazing environment here. 10/10 recommend them every time! Thanks team!

I've been to Ronald's Garage for service on my RAM diesel truck, my Mercedes, my Dodge Challenger, Lexus and other vehicles. I've also had several friends go to them based on my recommendation. Their prices are very reasonable. I was especially pleased with the new tire prices. State Inspections and oil changes are quick. These are the mechanics I totally trust to do things right. Employees are courteous and professional. Highly recommend!

Cannot say enough good things about the people here. I was in a bind when I discovered a bad serpentine belt after taking my kids to school. As a single parent, that's my only vehicle and I had to figure something out. I was looking at renting a car till I could figure out a repair but to rent any vehicle with less than 24 hrs notice I needed a credit card (which I don't have). On the way home from the school I had passed by this place and immediately called them to see if they could do the repair and when they could do it. Still fully expecting to need to rent a vehicle for the next few days. The staff here were great. I spoke to them around 10am and they got me in at 11am that same morning and the repair was done before 1pm and off to get my kids from school. They also have a nice little waiting area with couches and a TV. I actually ended up falling asleep for a bit while they were working on my van. Cost wise I paid under $200, which is below the area average, even including the additional charge for using debit, which is understandable with it being a small shop. I've been on the other end and the fees that come with POS systems is ridiculous. 10/10 would highly recommend them.

I was already frustrated coming in with how I was treated at Mr Tire right down the road who had my car 2 days without completing anything all while consistently telling me they were almost finished. The lady and gentleman at the desk of Ronald’s were so down to earth and understanding. They explained that they might not be able to get to it until the middle of the next day but they would give me a call as soon as they did. I received my call at 0930 in the morning the next day and it was completely ready to go. I genuinely appreciate the clarity, honesty and work ethic of your employees. I’m glad to see those good hometown morals/values aren’t gone at every business.

The guys at Ronald’s Garage are very knowledgeable, honest, and trustworthy. The towing service was perfect, quick, and professional. When I got to the shop Zach, Ryan, & Tim knew exactly what was wrong with my truck. They had a nice waiting area, that was super needed, since I had no where else to go and no way of getting there. Ryan & Tim got it up and running with in hours and I was ecstatic that I could go on and continue my trip. Tyler the owner was really nice and straight forward and I appreciate that very much. Overall 10 out of 10.

My parents have came to Ronald , I come to Ronald and now my kids come here. Ronalds garage has always treated us in the best way possible. Never any problem with whatever work preformed on our vehicles. Never a long wait, they are always open.
