Excellent service! Pulled in with a very bad tire on my way to work and he had me back on my way in 10 minutes and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. Couldn't recommend more highly.
The folks at this place saved our trip. They were honest and kind. I wish all automotive shops could be like this. I don’t know if I will ever be back through here but I hope they know how much I appreciate their help in my time of need.
I have never had such kind experience taking my car in. From Chicago to rural areas in Chatham County. Their prices are very, very generous. Will be a regular client and know you'll gain alot of local support.

Joe is an excellent mechanic, and we are so fortunate to have him right here in Goldston. He has serviced both my Toyota Avalon and my husband's Saturn. We purchased our tires from Joe as well. He can get them at a good price and on time. Great service, affordable, knowledgeable, and friendly; you can't ask for much more than that!

I highly recommend Joe to my family and friends looking for car repairs. He's fair such as I went to get an oil change and it was too early to get one. He didn't do it anyway and charge me. He told me to come back at a certain mileage. I trust Joe to be fair on price and to get things fixed correctly. He's even helped me with issues on the camper van I'm converting. Women normally will not say that they trust their mechanic and feel they get ripped off a lot. That won't happen at Goldston Automotive.
Mr. Joe and crew have consistently fixed all of my automotive problems, all while doing it for an insanely reasonable price.
They're always welcoming, and willing to help those who aren't savvy with cars.
Had some services done here. The last one I had done when I left there my AC stopped working.... my car only has 5,000 miles on it.. after looking it over I found that my AC compressor had been unplugged !
The plug snaps on place so it didn't just work lose.... plugged it back in ... all good..
They will not get anymore of my business !

I have known Joe Of Goldston Automotive for over 20 years. In this time, I have grown to say he is not just an acquaintance or a guy to take your car to, but instead a friend who is not only one of the nicest people I have ever met, but also an amazing down to earth kind person who happens to have made cars, and repair the biggest part of his life. I have done business with Joe ever since he began working with one of the largest motor vehicle repair shops, Ford. Joe is one of those "If I can see it, I can fix it" or Ill tell you to get another kind of people. The difference is Joe has gone out of his way to help people with honest, friendly sincere ideals and has always made me understand and feel confident that he will make it work. One of my concerns as is many, is if I don't know how much something truly costs to fix, how will I know if I am being treated fairly? All I can say is Joe just doesn't function this way. He will give you a fair price on any work he does. Whats amazingly different, is he will treat you like a family member no matter who you are and you will never have to worry about the quality of his work and the pride he takes in his endeavors. Joe is truly second to none. To sum it up, "He does truly have the most professional work ethic I have ever seen."
